Clean accomodation and excellent food one star less for age only otherwise enjoyed the stay

The place is ok and accessible tho they dont have complimentary breakfast and morning coffee. They have indian buffet every Sunday which is a must try :)

Very bad service. Even Indian Staff who called for taking food order was rude. They behave as if I am staying free of cost..Room service was pathetic as well... Need to call three to four times for water and such kind of requirements.Never cleaned the room on timeI will never opt this hotel again

I stayed in the hotel as a part of quarantine in Aug 2021. Bed sheets were not clean at the time of check in and were replaced on the 5 th day of quarantine after multiple follow ups.. dustbins were not cleared on time even after request.Food quality is also not good… I have been to this hotel restaurant multiple times before and I had a comparetively good experience. But now when I came for the quarantine, the food quality is terrible. All veg and non-veg side dishes have same taste…Totally un happy and I would not recommend this hotel for the quarantine

Although very old. The place is nice with ample parking space in front of and behind the building.Theres a store upfront and a hall behind for events. The capacity is about 400 banquet style.There are restrooms in the hall and the place has running water available in and around the compound.Theres wheelchair accessibility at this hotel.

This place comes off more as a major landmark than a hotel. Its one of the major features along Oshodi - Gbagada Express Way. Its been there for ages. You cant miss it, although its entrance is on Adebayo Mokuolu in Anthony Village.

Improving a lot and I like the progress it has made in recent times after the construction work ....food is as delicious as ever and having gone there over more than a hundred times ,I wish I could go another 100....not giving a 5 star because they could certainly do better and I believe that it the benchmark for other upcoming Indian restaurants in Lagos because it might be the oldest one and one that should be taken with great respect .This restaurant hosts a lot of parties as well as providing good memories .The food is all that u expected and more .The service is great and workers are all friendly .If planning a party here ,it is a great option with an even increased venue .Now that it is bigger ,it provides space and the bar is well designed as well .Not the fanciest place to go but if u want a friendly service ,the best Indian food around and a decent dining experience you should really try it out .I hope more success to this restaurant as well as any new consumers who will be delighted with what they are getting at a wallet friendly option .

As an Indian I prefer only Indian cuisine while travelling and I loved they way food was cooked. So delicious. Esp. North Indian cuisine. However south Indian dosa disappointed me being a little thick and sticky.Ambiance could have been better. But who cares if you enjoy every bite of Indian food filled with Indian aroma and its mix of spices.Food was satisfying.

Ive spotted this hotel since childhood and Ive seen it thrive since my Secondary school days. Its very accessible from the highway with ample parking spaces even along the street. Also, Hotel Newscastle is in close proximity to a lot of attractions including gardens, restaurants and an art gallery, Henrimoweta African Art Centre.Great place!

Located at a prime location, this hotel has a special mention for Sunday Buffet lunch. The buffet has both veg and meat options with desserts as well. The interior decor is decent with restroom facilities. A good spot for hangouts.

Great meals and affordable too

The 5 stars is for the food and customer service. They have well prepared delicious authentic Indian food. The waiters are great as they understand the menu. However I would like them to invest in toddler chairs so that families can enjoy their meal and time spent. Also the female restroom needs an upgrade as it is always messed up whenever I go there. Then basic original cocktails like Chapman and Mojito etc needed.

OK hotel. They have a chef and team that prepare Indian delicacies too. Mostly patronized by Indians so if you want a variety of Indian cuisines, this is the place to go to.The hotel has got a hall that can be rented for events. Styled the way you want, it can seat hundreds of people comfortably. With this arrangement, you can get in your own food and service and if you are looking at using theirs, youd have to pay and make do with what the chefs provide. Their food is well made and delicious at that.The hotel itself isnt as tidy as youd expect. They need an upgrade on that side.

Its a Chinese like hotel, it has a spacious restaurant with international dishes and a shopping space by its side Where u get to buy what ever you want before going inside the building. So if you are looking for something like that, you can try the hotel and the location too is good, prices of rooms moderately good and Easy to locate.

Hotel Newcastle is managed by an Indian so that makes it a place for the Indians but local nationals find the hotel cosy to hang out with friends and loved one. The Hotel is located at a a prime Location and very close to Gbagada express way.The exterior of the hotel is a total write off for me. It could be better. I would suggest the hotel management do some maintenance on the outlook of the hotel but the interior of the hotel is welcoming. Many who judge a book by its cover would not want to be seen in such hotel just by the outward review.The hotel has a restaurant that offers vegetarian and non vegetarian dishes.The vegetable fried rice (African) and chicken I ordered for was well cooked and spiced.My friend ordered for Vegetarian Chinese fried rice and it was very delicious when I had a taste of it.No wonder this hotel is the best place for the Indians and Asians.The food was very nice and affordable.Their rooms varies in place and sizes.The receptionist was very courteous and professional when I approached her. I couldnt pick her name but a fair in complexion lady.If you are a vegetarian and non vegetarian looking for a place to eat around Lagos mainland look no further Hotel Newcastle is the real deal.

Nice place to hang out with friends, Indians resident in Lagos mostly in Ilupeju finds this place cool.

It used to be called Graz hotel however under new management it became Hotel Newcastle. From all indications, its a cool place. Its one of those hotels that were built out of genuine concern for people to get the best of hospitality and home away from home. Its location which in good traffic condition is about 20minutes from the international airport is furthermore a plus.

This is one of the oldest hotel in Lagos located along Gbagada express way. From outside the hotel does not look so attractive but within it is a good hotel that has been in the business for a long time.
