Vanilla is always a nice place to relax with friends and get maximum fun. The drinks are affordable and the cocktails are the bomb. It also helps that the female bathroom is the perfect place to take a picture or two. Ill always be back.

If you’re here for the ambience, yes please come here. But the food? Nah! First off, there’s no sign post to the Restaurant. The only thing you see is the house number. It looks like someone’s house which was renovated. Now, the ambience is quite lovely. Even the toilet is beautiful. But the food is just expensive. When I went there, I was taken to the lounge cos they had an event so maybe I didn’t get the full experience but this place was not it for me at all. The food portions were small and the rice was spicy. Not impressed at all.

One remarkable thing about this place is their restroom😉Its a very beautiful restaurant anyways. You can have birthday dinner or date night with your partner here.The menu is expensive though.

I went for a Call to Bar party🧑🏽‍⚖️and the food 🍲 was just sooo amazing Oh my gosh! The jollof rice, fried rice 😋where do I begin?I definitely need to go back because I didn’t get to go to the bar area but for food, this place was on point!Then the bathroom had a whole life of its own. Was super clean and had this Miami neon vibe going on. It was truly unique. The staff were very attentive and we had a great time.

Great place. However, I dont have to beg the manager to have a seat. I am saying this because the staffs requested that I spoke to the manager to get me a seat. Wonder why the staffs cant handle that.

The ambiance is great, the good and drink tasted great and the service and delivery was really good. I loved that waitress was nice and very sweet.

I only used the lounge, and Damn! It was amazing. The Dj was off the hook. Had a great time there. Couldn’t use the restaurant because i didn’t book a reservation.

I really like this restaurant. It might have been quieter than usual given that we went on a Saturday afternoon but that’s exactly how I like it. The food took quite a while but they were careful to ensure that all the food came at the same time so we could eat together but once the starters were done, the mains were right behind them. The food was really good 😍 and the service was friendly too. Definitely planning to go again, I hear they do a great Sunday brunch!p.s: if you don’t know your way around Abuja, Google maps could confuse you going here as the route takes you on the opposing direction of a one-way road; so please be vigilant.

The decor and ambience is really great. Its secluded and private - i loved that about vanilla. The food was great tasting except for the sausage which tasted raw. The service was slooooooow....everything about about the service. The restroom was photo-worthy. The decor was intricately done.

A lovely place and good private spot to chill. The staff are well trained and polite. My only issue was that the speaker at the vip section kept going off which lowered the dancing vibe. It is a place to visit.

Ambiance was classy but practical enough to accommodate a large group with lots of kids. Food was superb; actually the best Ive had compared to similar outfits Ive visited in a while. Service was also great. Waiting is a bit long and the menu is pricey, but at least youll feel like you got value for money spent when youre done. Overall, Ill recommend it and would like to visit again sometime.

Ambience, customer service and good food..

Loved the music. In as much as it was a Wednesday, the parking was full and people were there. Loved the cocktails, prawns and chicken.

The waiters were very knowledgeable about the menu and the ambience was awesome! The food! The food was to die for! The wait for the food was very short. The starter platter was massive! We could barely touch our food after the starter platter and drinks. The Vietnamese rice and curried beef main dishes we ordered had to be packed away for consumption later as we were too full to go on. Downside is ghat, food is quite pricey but quality was worth it though. Would recommend, one hundred percent!

The GM needs to be more flexible with seating guests. You cant have empty tables reserved for imaginary guests at 750k while you have a group of 15 who just might spend close to that sum. At the end of the night the heavy spenders may not show up and you lose possibly 450k due to your policy.

Really cool place to hang out. The waiters are polite and available. But when it gets full or packed the service is kinda bad. But in general the ambience is nice and cool.

The food was good, wait time was also not bad. A little pricey, a plate of food costs about 6,500 at the minimum.

Its a place where everyone should be, their hospitality is indeed great.My experience was not regretful. Everyone should try to have a taste of their meal especially their VANILLA CHICKEN RICE my favourite, its really yummy.

Food wait time was average but could be better.Food and drink - 1/10 i ordered the t-bone steak which costs 13k prepared as medium-well and it was brought as tough and rare. Returned the steak and it was improved slightly. Didnt enjoy at all. Drink was mint, lemon and ice at 2.5k. Not worth the pricing.Overall - 5/10Credit to the lady manager who extended a drinks discount after my complaint. That did not affect my review.

Expensive food for no reason. I ordered something that had to do with barbecue sauce. When the waiter brought burnt chicken with ketchup n chips, I was disappointed! for a meal that cost 7000, Vanilla you can do better please. It was so annoying that for the first time I didnt take pictures n kept ranting about it for the whole day 🥺

Located in a serene part of town( Abuja). Maitama. It is a very private spot perfect for intimate meetings or high level networking. The food was nice. Perfect prawn spring rolls. I expected more local dishes on the menu though.

One of my favorite spots in Abuja, which does not get the recognition it deserves. The lounge is always a pure vibe, with solid DJ performances including old school music, better value for money with lower prices than most of its competitors, a fun, vibrant and good-looking😉 crowd to meet and socialize with, not to mention the best shisha in the entire town. They have a restaurant now across the lounge so you can enjoy fine dining before chilling in the lounge. A must in Abuja!!

Beautiful scenery. Polite staff. Only had a drink so unsure about the food but I heard its good. Expensive too. A must visit for anyone visiting Abuja. Ideal for meetings, sit outs and parties too. The bar was closed as at the time I went but the restaurant was opened. They close at 7pm cos of Covid I guess.

The avocado and prawn salad with just lettuce and tomato is hard to beat anywhere, full stop.The jerk chicken with veg is Scotchies of Mobay standard with that moderately explosive jerk sauce weaponised with Nigerian pepper.

Vanilla has two section, the restaurant and the lounge. This is just an hidden gem, the restaurant menu is mouth watering, my favourite, I always order this when I visit is Vietnamese fried rice and prawn.And if you love a good turn up, the lounge is your go to, especially Friday night.The interiors are so cozy and gives you this sense of warmth.The restroom is beautiful, if you love to take pictures, you have found a very good spot( lol) with nice background.

I was skeptical about going because of some bad reviews I read but they didnt disappoint. Its located in a serene residential area which I loved. The menu is quite pricey so have at least 8-10k for just you. The decor actually drew me to the restaurant, its well lit for great pictures with the mirror ceiling and beautiful abstract paintings, very pretty scene. Customer service was average really and I waited a while for my food. I had chicken alfredo, fried rice and an oreo mudslide, they were delicious but the fried rice was a little dry, the alfredo was very creamy and tasty with a little tang which I absolutely loved. If youre a big chocolate and baileys fan like me, you cant go wrong with the mudslide. I suggest going on a Sunday if you want a more quiet and less busy scene. Overall, I was pleased. I would go as far to say its a hidden gem.
