Stopped by this branch on my way from the Airport and honestly I was amazed at the coordination in this place.Everyone was on a queue, no rowdiness at all.The staff here were equally friendly and shared jokes with us, Iβm not used to Chicken republic staff being this way. The ones in Portharcourt are always angry π€£π€£π€£π€£π€£.The restroom was clean to an extent, but it looked way older than the rest of the building, so Iβm holding 1 star cos of that.Food was good and the rotisserie chicken π― π―β¦ I donβt know how possible it is but the spicy chicken would taste a little better if the spice is toned down a little bit.Totally recommend !
I and my sister went to chicken Republic at Wuse 2, it was honestly a stressful day in fact we wanted taking the food home but hunger did let us even leave the car when we got there. We both decided to seat and eat at the restaurant. There were a lot of people there so we waited and finally got to our turn.We order rice and chicken with salad , we wanted water because we dont take carbonated drinks(funny enough they said they dont have water) we were so hungry we just told them to give us the food like that.To be honest I could not tell if the food was delicious or not (I was so hungry) but one annoying thing I noticed was the flies.. But apart from that they have good security men and their food is affordable
Good scenery, but the food wasnt good as expected as at the time I was there with friends...
How can they be selling food without drinking water, who does that rubbish?
Crowd was too much. But got what I wanted, big chicken, chill spiirt and spicy rice.
Nice meals.Cheap and affordable combos
I got the chicken with fries, chicken burger and shawarma. My favorite was the chicken with fries. The chicken shawarma & burger lacked flavor. Improvements can be made.Overall it was an βokayβ experience.
Best chicken but their Wuse 2 branch is always crowded. They need like two branches in Wuse 2.
I had an issue where I was billed twice for the same order, thankfully the manager was quite understanding and it was sorted out. Nevertheless, I think the speed of their operations can be improved. They also need to fix/replace their POS machines.
Food are cheaper, accessable and affordable and neat too.
A very nice place for you and your family
Crowd management isnt too good. But the food is top notch. Im giving it four stars because the drinks are too expensive.
Nice and affordable rice, chicken, burger, chips, meat pie, moi moi, salad and ice cream served with soft drinks and water, they deliver too and eat in too.
Its a nice spot to grab a bite
Had a warm reception, nice meal
That 650 rice and chicken then there 300 pasta salad is my go to order
I personally like their food. However, theres a long queue of people waiting to get food most of the time. As such, I prefer to order in from the website to save myself the trouble.
Spicy like I like it, but sadly undercooked chicken in the drive through. The smokiness of the rice is appreciated.
Food isnt spectacular but affordable.Youre likely to find a queue especially weekends. If youre eating in, get ready to battle with flies π€¦πΎββοΈπ€¦πΎββοΈParking available
Nice establishment but theres always a long queue most times
The management should do something about the flies, it is peculiar to all outlets! Very annoying. If you can get passed this, (which is very impossible, except it is a covid strategy to keep customers from eating inπππ) the Chicken is good
Cool but their fried rice is wack. And chicken small
Food was nice. Other amenities could be better
Too many people, but the service is quit fast and the line moved quickly. Excellent meals as usual
Fried rice is nt fried rice is curry rice and the rice is nt tasty chicken is a bit ok
Chicken republic fast food has the best jollof rice and fried chickens, they also offer affordable meals ranging from 600 naira and above thatβs about 1.2 dollars for a plate of rice and chicken. Here in abuja they are always open from 8am to 11pm daily and their customer care is very good. You can order for meals online or you can put a call across and get your meal delivered to your doorstep
Get your fast food here. Their chicken very cripsy

They have the best chicken. food always served very hot and drinks very cold. Wonderful combo!
Do they have a managenent? Have they ever listened to customer complaints on how slow their service is? Its the worst i have experienced & sadly its been like this for years! Shame cos its decent, affordable food.
Great but they need to note the following:Need more work power...staffAbility to give balance to customers as they always say they dont have change.
The portions are small. The food is consistent but not very good. Only visit as a last card, last resort location
They probably still have the cheapest fast food in town. Their meals are not as tasty anymore though.
Nice place to get take out and dine in. Also the parking is fair.
Place actually deserve a 5 star per the franchise. But give it a 4 star due to slow service caused by very little number of attendants or incompetence, which is actually conversant with all their branches, mostly the one at (Banex),Aminu Kano crescents branch.
Twas okay. Enjoyed my meal. Just parking issues and its a general one.
They are deteriorating, in terms of costumer service. Their prices are absolutely reasonable, as in very good. Compared to Nigerias economic state.
Its a nice place to eat and relaxπ
Nice fast food place. They prepare their chicken to taste
I particularly like the chicken made here. Crispy on the outside and yet soft with the right amount of spice.
Their fried chicken is amazing but fried rice is more like boiled rice with color and flavor.
Great place, can the restroom be separated like male and female tho
Everything is great but the chicken is no longer big lol
Its a bit too small but the food is lovely as always. Im a Fan
This fast food center is really a wack! Their environment is not healthy for eating, too many house flies all over the place, my humble advice for any one visiting there is that you should just buy and take home.
Chicken Republic is my go to place for food on the go, they respond quickly to food orders and deliveries and they are prompt in service, It helps that their meals are affordable especially the refill package
Fantastic service!The attendants did amazing.
Best place to get crispy delicious chicken.
For a quick stop lunch, tasty chicken
Their rice and beans is to die for even the roasted chicken. The chicken salad is a meal.
Hmmm, I love the way they Prepare there chicken always looking delicious. Its also a nice eatery that you will want to visit
I love the pot lover menu package, I had a good mean, however, the place should be more organized so that it wont be like local buka. Also point of sale should be separated from point of meal collection.
Good for a quick biteAffordable food and there is takeout
Prompt service, polite workers
Crunchy chicken and crispy fries.
Ouuh I love chicken Republic! Their rice, chicken, coleslaw and my absolute favorite... THE SINGLE & DOUBLE CHICKWIZZ SANDWICH is the best one ever had! This particular chicken Republics sandwich seems to be the best so far. Crispy.. Less oily. Great.
Awsome but slow service lately
Spacious parking space and their food is tastier than their other outlets... superb/fast service
The chicken size is quite small, and dry. Maybe the cook/chef may try looking into this. Also, there was no variety of chicken. Just one type.
The one and only Nigerian life savers...
Awesome customer service... Nice meal π
Delivery was on point. After sales service was excellent.Quick to respond to mass orders.
Good, reliable and affordable food in Wuse2
It is nicely situated in a serene but, easily accessible spot, but, during rush hour (lunch time) the place is always jam packed. Also, some times the staff aint really friendly, do be ready to ignore their attitude if you wish to get a meal, else, you loose your appetite.
Hospitable and warm fast food restaurants
Affordable food. Very nice chicken
Itβs a place you get delicious and affordable food. Itβs well organized with good staff.
They got it just has they always do, but the customers service is too slow most of the time.
Clean and neat and a safer place to park a car
It was crowded and only one line was moving.. ended up going to another branch
Their Rotisserie chicken is the best
Food was cooked well. Nice customer service
It was a Sunday. There was a rush. We waited for the food in batches.I prefer the other branches.
Lovely with good aroma of food...
The meal is quite good and tasty. But their service was kinda slow.
For many that prepare to eat outside or hangout with their family and friends, this place is quite good for them to order fast food and hang around to eat.The food prices are moderate and average people can afford to buy. They offer card payment and collect cash as well.Children Republic have many outlets in Abuja that offers similar services and anywhere a customer enter, can receive the same service as this particular outlet. They operate from 8:00 am up to late night for late comers that close from work late.
I had great time to share my opportunities about my Amazon project launch as well
I would say this one is the best of the 3 chicken republic outlets in Wuse 2. Quick service, tasty food as always.
Limited parking space but Cheap price and food
Make one of the best fast food on abuja
Their meal is okay and affordable
Nice eatery, they should employ more staff to help mop up the crowd faster though
For a restaurant call chicken Republic their chicken tasted bad and bitter
They were quite friendly and organized and the food was tasty
Had a great time here.
As always, Chicken Republic is a lifesaver.I thank God for the day I heard about this franchise.Itβs been good all the way.
I was displeased with the Delay in Service. I had to wait almost 30 minutes on the queue.
Today, 42 year old Akinyanju heads one of Nigeriaβs fastest growing retail chains valued at about $120 million. With about $2 million (N320 million) in seed funding raised from family and friends, he initially had a franchise deal with Chicken Licken, South Africa but quickly established his own brand Chicken Republic. In 2003, he opened a bakery outlet, Butterfield Bakery (a South African brand), which soon became Nigeriaβs largest bakery. Deji also own Reeds Thai Restaurant in Lagos and the St. Elmos Pizza franchise in Nigeria.According to him, βWe revolutionised the concept of buying international brands into Nigeria. Ever since then, new brands have come into the market. And we set the standard, changed the eating experience for Nigerians and introduced a friendlier, world-class ambience into food.βHe says that the market is being driven by the youth. βThey want to associate themselves with modern brands and modern ways of eating.βSince founding Chicken Republic he has grown it to over 70 outlets. When asked by CNBC earlier this year on how his business ventures became successful, he said, βWhen I started, I didnβt have much experience. If you have passion, the rest is easy to learn, but you canβt teach somebody to be passionate.βHowever, success came with its burdens and challenges. In the early years, his company acquired quite a bit of debt to fund its expansion.Β βWe had a strong cash flow but we also had obligations to banks and the business wasnβt profitable. We spent a lot servicing our debt.β Β In 2008, his company raised an additional $30 million to finance its expansion plans.According to him, βThere is still no strong brand across West Africa, so for instance if you were to go to Ghana you will find three stores run by a particular brand and if you were to go Ivory Coast, you may not find that brand in Ivory Coast, so we have this entire West coast market.βDeji eventually plans to open three hundred Chicken Republic stores in Nigeria and a thousand Chicken Republic stores in Africa before 2013.βNigerian brands want to be global brands,β he says. βAnd why not? We have a lot of foreign brands in our market. If you apply the right principles, it doesnβt matter where you come from, you should be able to fly anywhere.βTable of ContentsFounder of Chicken Republic on expansion plansWatch the video below where he talks about Food Concept/Chicken Republicβs expansion plans.βWe strongly believe that with all the tools, in funding and human resources, and proper backing in business, we certainly can do 300 to 500 stores in this country, because we see that there is a younger population, we all know that we have may be 70 percent of our population under the ages of 18, and is a growing population, a lot more people are eating out, so that cultural change is happening daily.βThis year, Food Concepts (parent company of his food retail brands) signed a $20 million investment deal with the International Finance Corporation (the IFC), to improve its safety and corporate standards, and to expand into Ghana.
Great eatery, its one of chicken republic franchises, they serve fried rice, jollof rice, white rice and beans and sauce, pasta and sauce, fried and roasted chicken, pasta salad, vegetable salad, coleslaw, coke, fanta, Sprite. They offer delivery service too, you can order on Jumia food app. Theyre fast in serving, and their food is tasty
