Well, their lobby is beautiful with all the interior decor so it feels welcoming.. The staffs were helpful to a certain extent.Was a little disappointed with Their restroom cos wasnt clean, looked more like a Roadside toilet (no toilet papers and liquid wash).. The restaurant was spacious and well organized, but the food was just there.They have a small hall where you can host a small birthday party or seminar /meeting..

The Pool was clean and the towels they supplied were fresh and clean too.. We ordered Fries and chicken and it was yummy! The fries were handcut and the prices were pocket friendly.

The service was good but the hotel has seen better days. It is so old and out of fashion. The phone does not even work, the whole room was so old and smelling of damp. The shower head had is about to fall off. The hotel is the definition of dont judge a book by its cover. The hotel looks great on the outside but mehn, the inside is something out of old Victoria ln era. The service was great though. The food was way too expensive as well. A 1 to 2 star hotel should not be charging a 5 star price. I will not be returning here.

Conducive and wonderful customer care

Service was stellar and very polite and helpful. Five stars for the staff that I interacted with.The room we stayed in though had a few issues - probably because we stayed in the annex (though a room on offer is a room on offer I.e. no excuse). They genuinely seemed not to have any previous knowledge of the issues though (water heater was not working in one room and in the other room it had a tiny leak - say one drop per 5 minutes). In one of the rooms also, under the bed, the floor had not been swept for at least a week.If you need a room for a night or two, you will get a peaceful night with little bother. If you are finicky about details, definitely dont take any of the cheaper rooms in the annex.

Great place. One of my very best hotel experience. Got a pickup service, gym and swimming pool which is free for all guests. Very nice staff too. Will use again.

This is a very beautiful hotel complex. i called it complex because they have rooms in their main building and more three other buildings on the same street.their rooms, suites and apartments are tastefully furnished... a lot of fancy decorations for the luxury experience.they have a gym, swimming pool and luxury car service.the staff are very welcoming, helpful and professional

Not a bad place to lodge

The hotel has two wings and so are the rates. I stayed at the newer more expensive wing. The rooms are okay and customer service not bad. Comfortable and clean. However the pool area is too tight to make any sense of sit out. Food and snack are a bit on the night side. The other wing I visited is obvious is not as clean as the new one which is expected. Security is good on both wing. Can I lodge there again? Yes I will.

Its a very condusive environment, theres a pool bar at cetera.

Nice hotel but...need a lot of upgrades

If you are looking for half decent budget accommodation, this might be the place for you. It is also in a relatively safe and calm neighbourhood. However, for the number of rooms they have, the parking is inadequate. I also did not like the lighting and the elevator was not working which meant some welcome exercise for me but a not so great workout for the senior citizens. I also did not think it was a very easy location to find. All in all not a bad experience but if you can find something in the same price bracket closer to the main roads, you might want to take that 🤷‍♀️

Good hotel to lodge

Hotel is located within a friendly neighborhood and in the heart of Lagos mainland. Good place to navigate to almost everywhere else in Lagos. Car park space not very huge though. Rooms are convenient and suitable for quick rest. There is a useful supermarket nearby, taxis etc within easy reach

Very chilled and conducive place to hang out, serene environment with choices of spots to sit in and few games to play. But pool here is quite narrow, however the pool at the other annex is much bigger. Drinks are quite affordable and staff quite friendly.

Seems the owner loves gold. This hotel has 3 separate buildings mainly for accommodation. The main building is the one that has the gym and other facilities. The other buildings are in the estate separated by the estate gate. The second one on the left is an older building and the room I was in had a bad ceiling. The POP was patched kinda. Asides that every other thing was working fine. Double check the creamer in the coffee tray. The last building is a converted 3bed apartment x 8 flats. Fully furnished. Lift works. No guard at the gate at 1am. Perhaps he watching us from his ‘corner’. All buildings, very quiet environment. Stone throw from a police station.They have coaster buses for airport/event centre trips. And complimentary WiFi

This is popular hotel in Anthony village area. It is not expensive but relatively affordable by all who needs luxury at affordable rates.The rooms are well furnished and the beds are spacious.There are different categories of rooms with different prices.If you are in Anthony area, then you owe this hotel a visit

The place is neat and shiny. A lot of shiny things but it should be toned down a bit. Too much gold coloured everything. The staff are courteous and knowledgeable.

Nice place to be

I stayed here for a week while visiting a nearby client. The hotel was very comfortable with good oyinbo food. Of course I explored nearby and just across the street is a rough and ready local bar that I loved! I would recommend this to anyone having business in the Anthony Village area.

Cool and serene atmosphere

It was a good experience lodge to this hotel so far! Its easy to navigate to anywhere in Maryland... Their room was very okay and likewise their hospitality. Your complementary breakfast will be amazing as if you had it in a dream! Nothing sound good like been there!

I had a reason to be here for a training course.I dont know much about the room service but I can attest to the quality of food been served.My two days spent here will remain a memorable one; my taste buds will never forget.They have a nice lounge and bar area.Honestly, I havent seen a pool shaped like theirs before and I guess its totally worth the dive and can play host to a small group of friends who need to spend some quality time together.The grill bar will do you justice if swimming arent your idea of a chill time. While you are at it do enjoy the interior.Oh! The interior, Such a beauty to behold, seeing is believing, make a visit.They have a gym, mini event hall and training rooms that can cater to small amounts of delegates. Its well air conditioned, clean, good quality chairs and least I forget the toilet was always clean.Do enjoy your stay and feel free to refer others.Thank you banex.

Really impressed with the facilities and ambience. Large enough to host a plethora of groups between both the hotel rooms and suites respectively.If you are travelling with a group or family then opt for the suites. Better value for money.Both locations have a swimming pool. Food wasnt bad either

An old hotel in many respects. Much of its current attraction lays with the quality of the staff who have clearly been with the hotel for a while. The rooms are just modest. Not run do n but not deserving of anything more than 3 stars. The location is also great. Its nestled into a corner of Anthony Village with a supermarket close by and almost everything you need within a 200m radius. Not a bad destination but not one youd consider an ideal getaway.

Affordable meals, lodging and relaxation. A very beautiful and promising hotel with good intent to satisfy clients but poorly maintained, needs to live up to expectations.

Id you need a reasonably priced hotel close to Ikeja airport so you never miss a flight when in transit.

The environment is welcoming and their facilities not bad especially the waiting area and the lift.

Its very cool, chic, elegant and safe. The user gets the best in meals, rooms, entertainment, pastries, laundry, conference rooms, halls, parking space, car rentals and all. There are clean, lovely rooms as each room is equipped with its bathroom and toilets with other facilities provided, 24/7 electricity, equipped gyms, best meals, good atmosphere etc.

Banex Hotel & Suites is a beautiful place to lodge. When next you visit Lagos, you can check it out.

Simply low budget and dirty

The hotel rooms have been poorly maintained, bathrooms are not clean, the rug on the floor is in need of a wash, and I will not put the phone on my ear. I do not recommend this hotel if you are looking for a clean comfortable environment.The bed was comfortable though. I had to remove the scatter cushions because the reeked to cigarette smoke.

External guests are allowed to use the pool, of which the hotel has three. 2 for d price of 2k and one goes for 1k. The reception area has very nice decor which is elegant and at the same time welcoming. Customer service was great but I only went for a swim so cant say much for other services rendered there.

Went for a makeup job. Slept over, came the night before so i could wake early to makeup the bride. Banex is a beautiful place

A very cool place to be..

Top notch pasteries is what keeps drawing me back. But the icing on the cake is the warm and ever smiling staff. The lady at the pastery shop should be given an award for the best behaved staff. She is constantly wearing a smile, telling you about her products and professionally guiding you to make an informed choice. I will visit again whenever I am in the neighbourhood.

I experienced a number of issues whilst staying at Bannex.1.Theft - Be careful with your money! I had money stolen out of my suitcase and my mother had money stolen from her too. I dont trust the staff there at all2.Electricity- the apartment we were staying at kept getting blown fuses! At one point we couldnt even use the cooker and despite the fact that we reported the issue nobody came to fix it...we spent the last few days without a cooker to cook.3. Extra charges- the charged us an extra 8,000 naira per night for use of mattress which is an obscene amount of money for extra mattress.Its a shame that my experience at Bannex wasnt pleasant because it is actually located in a very convenient area of Lagos-very accessible to the airport and local shopping malls and I actually enjoyed my stay there until all these problems occurred. The owners were extremely friendly but their staff have really let them down
