Services offered are gradually been improved.Health Care providers are gradually performing better and they are now more cautious and willing to helpHowever, lower cadre staff still needs lots of training. As regards parking:It is advisable for visitors to park outside the hospital premise as construction is ongoing inside the premises, which has drastically reduced the parking space. You should however note that parking outside attracts little token but it is free for all Lagos State staff at any level be it local or state.Get well soon

My very first experience using a general hospital and i was shocked and surprised at the level of improvement.I came in for an emergency operation at 11.30am, had a bit of wait period and was able to go in at 4.27pm due to the number of patients waiting. The crowd is a downer and this facility needs urgent expansion. From the professional and courteous nurses, to the attentive doctor, to the very very neat rooms and corridors to the well equipped theater and very expert surgeon to the very standard pediatric unit, i was blown away. I had prepared my mind for the worst, as per public hospital, what i got was a far cry and i am grateful to the lagos state government for the massive improvement.Thank you Ifako General hospital, I and my princess are grateful.

The most of the nurses are wicked and hostile. They make mockery of you when you are in labor. The day I gave birth there was no bed for me n my baby, I had to sleep on the floor of the reception with my baby on the reception chair. The student doctor that attended to me was so insulting, and wanted to suture me without any sedative , even after I refused she insisted until-a superior doctor intervened and got me the anesthetic . Even administering it, she left me n went to another floor with my privates open to who ever that was passing, only to return after the injection has worn off to suture me. The annoying thing is she doesn’t see anything wrong with what she did. Oh the nurse forgot my after birth prescription in my file which was a mistake and as a result, being a first time mother I left without any medication whatsoever, and my birth wounds refused to heal. I was rushed back to d hospital 2weeks later as a result of trauma that nearly killed me. I know that have experienced consultants and specialists but you may never see them. I gave them 3 stars because they know the job and the hospital is as neat as a private hospital but the psychological, social aspect and customer care ...zero. They must stress you!

Its a typical general hospital in Lagos, with poor parking spaces, so much construction happening within, typical delays in getting attended to, the structures need to be revamped to cater for the teeming population who have to visit this facility. While also increasing the manpower needed to ensure people are attended to timely.

The nurses and doctors were polite. The only sad thing is the waiting period is long. You have to wait for hours to see a doctor. I guess thats a general problem with Nigeria hospitals.

Its no general hospital is the face of innovative modern and public healthcare. The health and infrastructural facilities are wonderful with state of the art facilities and seasoned staff. The car park is big enough and the compound very spacious. There is also accessibility walk way in this health facility. The building and floors are well planned with toilets clean and well maintained with almost uninterrupted power supply. It has a great maternity centre as well.

Ifako Ijaiye General Hospital has a quite large, neat and friendly environment. It offers quality and affordable health care services to both adults and children. However, like many other general hospital in Lagos and Nigeria as a whole, it has shortage of manpower especially doctors and nurses. The patient-doctor ration is too high.

The worst hospital I have ever been to in my entire life, they don’t know how to address patient, the nurses are so hostile,,,they dont care if that was your first time or if you re dying..both the young and aged staff. Yesterday, I waited for 7 hours I couldn’t see a doctor, and I was forced to ask the one black nurse calling names she said she has called my name around 1,I told her I am feeling dizzy like fainting, that I need to see a doctor she just snubbed me and later told me to come back the next day it’s not fair... I can’t even dare to go any General hospital again ,how I am sure they will attend to me.the nurses there are very hostile and who they said will see a doctor will see....even if you re dying..they wont even allow you to see any doctor....I
