Great place for relaxation with the family. The ambience is great and the treat is heartwarming.

The ambience is super, food are of distinct to the menu. Most dishes are mouth watering & tasty. Cold drinks to mellow down the food are befitting rach time I visit.

It’s the perfect spot for a quiet and peaceful meal with soft jazz music playing in the background. You literally have to talk in such low voices to have being the loudest voice in the room. This is my third visit here with friends and it was splendid as usual; the meal was delicious as usual and oh their cocktail is fantastic as usual too. I spent #4,500 in total and the food was worth every penny. Their customer service is also worth commending, they are polite and professional.

Cafe Chrysalis is a sit-in vintage cafe, suitable for small meetings, dates, family brunch, birthday party (less than 20 people). There is a spacious parking space and natural flowers to portrait the serene natural environment. Food is available on pre order and there is need to book ahead of usage.

Nice environment, serene with good service and courteous staff. Theres also a nice view upstairs if youre into that stuff.

They served good food and drink. We had jazzy special fried rice, goat meat with sweet peppers, sweet potatoe wedges and tropical smoothie. I loved every bit of it, I would recommend. I dont have all the photos. Enjoy this😍

The plate of rice with salad, chicken and plantain goes for about #2,000(naira) whole the second plate is the kiddies for about 800. I loved the ambience. Their toilet is CLEAN. Restaurants fall short here, but Cafe Chrysalis beats all other places. I felt like living in the toilet 😂. They had lots of tissue and towels.Cafe Chrysalis is my go-to place for a quiet night out with boo.

The food took too long to get prepared and the staff had zero customer service qualities. When the food finally came, it was bland and of small quantity.We got no apologies for the poor service.I do not recommend pls .

Beautiful and serene restaurant which I love, well prepared meals (you should try their spring rolls and samosa because i always look forward to eating them as well) with the most jovial service Ive had since my stay in Ibadan.The issues I encountered was they dont serve the food early, we waited almost like forever before the food came which didnt happen at their other location in Ventura Mall. Secondly there are mistakes on the menu (I dont know why they still use that menu) but they dont serve Basmati rice (just the normal long grain rice) and Singapore Noodles (they serve spaghetti instead).Besides the menu mistakes, I have always enjoyed their hot fried plantain (made crispy and fresh, just how I like it).

This place used to be pretty nice even with a soothing jazz band playing from time to time but sadly it has gone from a 9.5 to a 3 on a scale of 10.In recent times, I’ve had complaints with each visit but this last one was definitely the worst!Of all the cocktails listed, only 3 were available. Little did I know that was only the beginning.An order that was to take 40 minutes took 2hrs! And the waitress gave no apology whatsoever and had a bad and sassy attitude all through.All through the wait, the restaurant was hot! The ACs weren’t on, not even a standing fan in place!When the food came through finally, it was sooo bland. Not enough spice in the spaghetti and the chicken was barely cookedIt was horrible experience in all honestly; service, meal and ambience.A little nice part of the experience was the security officer; he was very polite and returned a wallet accidentally dropped.Asides that, not a palatable experience.

This is a super place. A comfortable and appropriate place for a lovers get away. Its located in an easy to know place but well hidden-out to still provide a no-disturbance environment. Moreso, you can even book a private place for a mini party apart from the general place which is open to all. Youll love it.

So I have been to this restaurant three times in total, and each time, the experience left a lot to be desired. First time, the staff there had a really poor attitude and were quite discourteous. Second time, the food served was of considerably smaller quantity than usual, but thankfully, after we complained, the chef apologized and served us some chips to make up for the quantity.Last and certainly not least, the third time, we had to wait for almost two hours before the food was ready (as opposed to the 40 minutes we were told), and not once did anyone come out to explain or apologise for the delay in service. When the food finally came, it was bland and not even enjoyable.Definitely the last time Ill be going there either alone or with friends!

Excellent and on time serving of meals as always, their Nigerian combo was tasty, Cafe chrysalis is great for private dining and group meetings, they also have their monthly buffet every first Sunday of the month.

Awesome experience...It is the best place to be in Ibadan especially if you love good foods.Local and continental cuisines are available at affordable rates... Their Tequila mix is my favorite drink served with extra shot because I do not love it mild.I look forward to another experience there!

Save for the fancy name that might stimulate your mind to think “classy and refined” - that’s all there is to this restaurant- a name. So it didn’t come as a surprise to me that it is located in a cryptic environment with no brazen signpost for her customers to see.My experience at this particular restaurant was nothing short of a disaster - the customer service was terrible with a waiting time of nearly 1.5hrs. I mean, if you are going to keep your customers waiting - then your hospitality skills should be top-notch?Alas, to my utter surprise - they casually strolled past with noses in the air and would occasionally toss a half-baked apology or a lie that the food was been plated (who on earth plates a meal for 30mins? Even a Michelin rated restaurant couldn’t beat that).And the food was just as bland and as rude as the staff! I had the chicken bistro with pasta. The chef couldn’t be bothered to spice the pasta - More like boiled pasta tossed with veggies and mushrooms (Thankfully, the veggies retained a certain crunch that helped uplift the mood of the pasta).The bistro chicken could have spent more time on the grill and perhaps a longer time in the marinate - but to my utter shock - my chicken came out with a soggy skin and a raw interior. It was juiceless, white and ridiculously bland (and that is putting it lightly)In summary, the dish was a perfect reflection of the entire restaurant, the staff and the chef - a complete culinary and hospitality disaster.My only disappointment was I was too angry to take pictures of the food or the venue.In the midst of all the lies and the tastelessness and the utter rudeness of the female attendant who just carelessly tossed the food in front of my friends and I - as though we were a charity case of the restaurant; the gateman was the highlight of the entire place - He was polite, kept a smiling face and offered his assistance to us even when he didn’t have to. If all the staff, including the head chef - could have a quarter of the gateman’s behavior and hospitality skills - perhaps, they might have a chance of rescuing this restaurant from her impending demise!Until then, it is a NO from me!- an absolute 2/10 for me

The atmosphere is great. If you are looking for a place where you can easily run away from distractions, here you go. Also, their workers have great energy and are always ready to attend to your needs. I was there for more than 6 hours today- my office for the day, and it was productive. Foods and drinks are great, and they worth the price tags.

I attended a private 60th birthday party there and it was really cool... very nice. They provided almost everything for the party.. Cake, music, photographer, trumpeter, keyboardist and all and we had a very private groovy time.

Cool place to be and enjoy. The environment is cozy and very neat. They serve varieties of delicious meals and their cocktails are a delight. They also have assorted drinks and wine for sale from which you can easily pick. It is located close to First bank Ring road in Ibadan. They have a very big parking space and a cool garden.
