Best place I visited to have food during my short stay in Ibadan. Delicious and tasty and well presented dish.The structure to hand dryer to the service area, the neat and presentable food trays.Good food options. Clean restroom and lovely seat area.Even with the crowd the place was so orderly and organized.Ola Mummy didnt get my 5 stars because the waiters/attenders looked overwhelmed with the crowd, and also the lady who attended to us ( me and a friend) just wasnt friendly.Definitely going back any time I visit Ibadan again.

Been going to this spot for over a decade and I was really really impressed with the new building especially the VIP SECTION where you pay token eat in a lush space... Also I am happy they have maintained their consistency and authenticity over time... Never leave Ibadan without trying their Amala and Abula with soft Ponmo and Ogunfe... Also ask for the Hake fish... Its yummy

So, I’ve known this restaurant for years now. Their growth over the years is so nice to see🤭😁😊.The new space looks so elegant, well set, perfect sitting arrangement and all.Their customer service is great, however the last time I had amala from there, the amala was rather small in size.If you want to do local, they should be your go to. Their jollof also tastes party jollof.Just in that same building, upstairs, they have a supermarket where you can get various things; toiletries, home decor, juices, wines, canned foods and the likes.

Their goat meat is out of this world. Eating one is almost impossible!

This restaurant is situated in a very nice building, with options of shopping in the supermarket at the top floor or eating sumptuous and inexpensive meals at the bottom floor. There are wide range of delicacies to choose from, and most importantly, they are not expensive. Also, the environment is nice with enough parking space. Id definitely visit again.

Poor service delivery though excellent place.Maybe staff members need to be trained so well that there is no sentiment while delivering their duties.I look forward to a chang; where service delivery will be on first come first serve basis espescially during rush hours because my last two times there I experienced that.I had to create a scene the second time before I was attended to all in the name of they are familiar customers and probably people that tip your staff members.Then your staff members can do better by probably making use of nose and mouth cover especially those dishing out food to customers.

A well organized Buka 😜 with an ambient environment. Tasty food and the parking lot is currently being paved to allow for ease of users. But the gents are not well managed as there is no running water at the time of visit.

Talk of bad customer service, I experienced the peak of it at Ola Mummy exclusive restaurant. Another customer walked in and jumped the queue on 4 people which caused conflict between two customers. The latter went away angry and what the owner of the place could say to the latter was ‘you made me lose a customer’. Really??? That’s what to say to an aggrieved customer that your long waiting line had made wait for 10mins.The former also went away angrily. Surprisingly, the security and the owner went to beg the latter to come in.What @Toluwalase Odefemi said in his review was so on point.

Service can be terrible and you have for a long time to get your food. The workers are not so fluent in English so you have to wear your yoruba cap on before walking in. Their food is quite cheap and they have a variety of indigenous meals.

Good food with plenty pepper. Cant complain, thats the western Nigeria signature.

Good Food always comes hot, moderate pricing , but customer care is not the best but a perfect place to get a good meal on a very moderate budget.

Went here with 11 other friends, we all ate well and had enough to drink too. Guess what? Total bill was N8600, now thats affordable & tasty in one place. The staff could warm up a bit but I guess theyre under a lot of pressure.

Let me start off by saying that Im an Oyinbo from Canada married to a Nigerian. We went to Ola Mummy for the 1st time while visiting Ibadan in November 2020. This establishment was recommended by a local as having good food and we were not disappointed. In fact, the restaurant over-exceeded expectations. Being former restaurant owners, we understand the challenges this industry poses and would like to compliment the owners and entire staff for a job well done. We were served by Demola (Moses) in the VIP lounge and he was outstanding. Great food, very nice ambiance, clean environment and excellent service. Highly recommended to visitors with discerning taste. Keep up the good work. Well definitely be back!

Ola mummy is always my first choice when I think of places to enjoy amala, the way of the gods 🌚. Thats with abula (gbegiri and ewedu). Their gbegiri here is usually rich.The ambience is great. Enough space to disperse the usual humid atmosphere of amala restaurant.They sell other foods here asides amala tho, but amala is what I associate this place with.Typing this review got me craving for a plate of amala already.

Nice spot for Amala,good food and their turkey is the omnibaddest and very affordable...But very very poor delivery services,takes 2hours or more, despite my close proximity to the place, theres always an excuse,either no plantain or no turkey,after paying ooo, sometimes you loose your appetite while waiting ....Asides that food is good,you can even dine with your family....At the moment, Im actually waiting for the order I placed 10:53am, this is 11:40,the handler just messaged me, that theres no plantain, something you didnt tell me before paying for the order...1 hour ago !!!!...

Ola mummy food canteen is a very nice food outlet in Ibadan, I was particularly fascinated by the meat collection visible from the glass.In a town particularly known for some nice Amala dishes with Gbegiri and Ewedu, Ola Mummy food canteen is also popularly known for nice Amala dishes including other meals such pounded yam, semo and other local dishes.Good space and prompt services. Well dressed service persons, hairs well covered and neat space. Has a good arming space outside and chilled drinks to go with the meals.I quite enjoyed the place especially the meat, I had to even take my meat along when I couldnt finish the battle at the restaurant. Lol
