Its a nice place to swim, chillax and hangout. I think the food in the bar is really expensive and has value added tax screaming all over it. And I also think its a bit unfair that kids and adults get to swim at the same price.

Kokodome restaurant has been around for over four decades, it houses a restaurant, lounge and swimming pool, it gets bubbly at night and has an array of finger foods. I visited here with a colleague, we ordered burgers and fries, chicken wings and then Chapman. Their wings are one of the best Ive tried surprisingly.

This place is still as functional as ever. It is located in the heart of Ibadan which makes it accessible from almost any approach. The menu is impressive with a variety of Nigerian, and continental dishes. The choice of drinks on offer is beyond belief. It is a very tidy environment with a clean modern swimming pool. From any sitting position, you will almost certainly get a view of the swimming pool. It is also competitively priced. The best part is that you also get a secured packing space for only 100 Naira (about 20 US cent). The Kokodome is not a new restaurant, but offers me a feeling of nostalgia. What I like most about Kokodome is the beautiful poolside view while having your food or drinks. I also like the old school kind of style used in the restaurant setting. However, the Chapman I had didnt really do it for me.

Due to recent changes in management, the customer relations has dropped immensely. However this place still remains an interesting relaxation space to visit. Price is moderate and the pool is the highlight. Its best to visit at work hours and other hours when people will be generally occupied.

So last week, I was at koko dome, at the pool side where they had, their 30th year anniversary celebration, they started in the evening although I was there earlier to swim, I came with a friend, they have a pool, a bar, grills, restaurant, just name it and it is very close to the dugbe shopping mall, as long as this place exist, there can be no dull moment at Ibadan. This is a definition of old but Gold! This place is so beautifully maintained that it could compete with any newly built place.it has a bar, a restaurant, a lounge and a night club. What is special about this is that, in the Centre of the building is a swimming pool, so you could swim, step out, Grab a bite, return to swimming, I mean its a while lot of fun.You can also host a Pool Party

What I take note of even visiting a place is the feeling you get. Kokodome at night is just thrilling. Calm and not too noisy except you enter the club. If sitting by the pool and have a conversation with friends at night is enticing to you, visit Kokodome.

Kokodome plus is the perfect pool side spot at night . It’s the place you want to be when all you want to do is yank off your wig, sip a bottle of chilled beer with a plate of croaker fish/chips while enjoying the cool breeze with good music blasting your ears. It still one of the chillest friday spots in ibadan, besides the affordability and the pool side ofcourse. This spot is underrated for the kinda vibe present here. It’s advisable you visit around 7pm and into the night to enjoy the vibe.

Very good hideout bar and pool. Located in the busy kokohouse in Dugbe just behind the shopping mall. The pool is just inviting with lots of safety tubes for newbies. The pool is surrounded by countless bars with tempting drinks. There is a spacious car park for vehicles and space enough to accommodate fun-seekers of every age category. There is a live band in some specific days of the week. This place is just nice!

I visited KokoDome like 15 yrs ago and i was amazed when i passed through Dugbe and saw that it was still standing. Then their service was topnotch...shawarma to die for...cocktail is the bomb...pita bread and hummus (yummylicious). I bet they still run a good service and Ill be visiting with my family soon again. A classic place to chill and relax.
