Getting to Ilaji resort for the first time, I was amazed that this kind of place is in Ibadan and only few people have knowledge of it.I went there with 5 other Google local guide members who are also my friends.Ilaji resort is a beautiful environment, not just for relaxation and sports, one can also have parties, seminars, sight seeing and many more. Here there are sport centres which includes A football pitch, tennis court, table tenis, swimming pool (big and small), volley ball court and more.The children playing ground too is well structured with two beautiful fountains and art works, apart from the art gallery which will also be seen there. Status of notable people and culture are seen in this art galleries which includes Eyo and other past leaders.The accommodation is top notch, comfortable and pleasant at cheap cost. Each walldrop has its own safe, so all your properties are safe. Only you will have the pass code to it. Full AC and 24/7 power supply. For those who will not want a luxurious accommodation, there are hostels enough to occupy at least 400 people at a time. Which also implies that this place can be good for retreats and sport competition when lodging is part of the necessity.This is also a good place to have any kind of party, there is a big hall equipped with anything that will be needed for ceremonies including powersupply, big screen, sound system and more. Club hall, Tents for hangout or small parties, pool side party. There is also tuck shop and supermarket to provide you with anything that will be needed.There is also a conference room which is suitable for meetings seminars and trainings. Before I forget, there is also gymnasium and mini zoo. Let me keep it short here, there are many things seen that can be spoken about. You can as well visit this place and wont be a waste of timeThis location is Set In Akanran, just few minutes away from the heart of the ancient city of Ibadan in Oyo state. Located in town, the hotel is quiet and serene. Not too busy, not too pricy.Rooms are clean and adequate enough, didnt see many but is fine for a budget hotel stay.

A place to spend a lovely evening

Not really ok if I one wants to have a quiet time. It is so noisy that you can hear what is going on in neighboring rooms. Sometimes it is disgusting. Disgraceful for a Hotel that calls itself 3 star ! I could hardly sleep at night until very very late when everyone else had slept.

...strong cigarette smell in the rooms, outdated ambience and furnishings, bugs in the room. However, the hotel attendant was very courteous.
