Used to be a male hostel until the 18/19 session, its the largest hostel in sub Saharan African with over a dozen blocks of 3-storey building each containing 51 rooms with toilets and laundry on each floor, it has a mosque, a restaurant and two common rooms that serve as a shop and a viewing center for the students, due to its population almost everything here is queue from the tap to fetch water, the toilets to the common room to buy a thing or two.

Good for business

It use to be guys hostel and was awesome when it was but now it has been turned to ladies hostel. Its in the heart of Abu with chapel close buy, shops to buy provisions and other things, it has 2 common rooms where you can watch movies there are also restaurant inside of it with a basketball court. Good water supply and power supply. Cleaners come to clean every morning. Also if you dont have your student ID card you wont be allowed into the hostel.

Its the largest hostel in sub-Saharan Africa, its a hostel that has almost all a student needs in terms of day to day activities. The facilities offered by this hostel has greatly reduced due to lack optimum attention....but overall year Suleiman hostel is sweet and lovely.

Is a good hostel in ABU Zaria but highly congested. Thank God Dangote that build another hostel for students which reduces the population in the hostel. However, is one the best students hostel owned by Federal University in Nigeria.

Umar Suleiman Hall is a comfortable place to stay in just as any other hostel

Umar Suleiman Hostel is the largest single students hostel in Nigeria and West Africa. It was once a Male Only hostel and was home to students of the faculties of Science, Pharmacy, Veterinary Medicine, Human Medicine.It is now a Female Only hostel while the guys have been moved to a new hostel very far from here (Dangote Hostel).
