I was resident for 3 years and can boldly say that it is great and very conducive hostel, has consistent power and water supply all year round, they also respond promptly to complaints concerning repairs and damages usually at the end of each year, it is well secured and strategically located in the heart of Michael Okpara University of Agriculture Umudike.

This place I think is the only Female Hostel after Female Hostel at Sambisa that looks Okay and good.

Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) Hostel is the biggest female hostel buildings in Micheal Okpara University of Agriculture Umudike (MOUAU) .NDDC Hostel is a gigantic two storey building with a very large compound.Located strategically close to the University Stadium and opposite the University Security Department Office and the University Students Union Government Secretariat.The rooms are spacious and well ventilated.

One of the new hostels built by the NDDC in almost all the tertiary institutions in Nigeria, this here in MOUAU is very big and can accommodate more students than previous hostels on campus

The drainage system of the hostel is despicable.No maintenanceAnd the stench oozes into classrooms.Something need to be done about this for a healthy environment.
