That hostel is in need of serious renovation and after that proper maintenance must be carried out weekly

Very dirty environment... That place is not worth been a Hostel. Thats an infection ground. I pity students living in that hell

Excellent location

IBB is a boys hostel of Michael Okpara University of Agriculture, Umudike. It is an old hostel so some of its structures are old and dilapidated.

Its quite a nice place to stay when the school is in session, but its not given attention when it comes to the area of thorough cleanliness and other facilities especially the rest room, making the well being of the residents at risk in terms of health.

Very bad hygiene

Its not a bad place to live though. If youre allergic to public toilet and bathroom, you better avoid it.

There was fire outbreak on 16 in IBB but its a strong building and didnt collapse. And the fire was controlled on time b4 fire service came and did the rest..

This is a residential home of students, but the environment is very bad, different issues with the plumbing work and it has not been fixed yet, this has led to the pollution of the environment around the hostel. Ill strongly urge the appropriate authorities to handle the situation add soon as possible, before it becomes excessively hazardous to the health of the occupants.

It was a great relaxation point for my life at that time. I recommend it.

Living inside is cool but environment not encouraging

IBB hostel is very nice hostel but the management and the students is making it inhabitable. I lived there for a whole session. The hostel is not a good place for someone that has low immunity and this is because of high degree of contacting diseases.

The toilets are messy, the floors are always wet, all the doors are bad, bunk beds are badly constructed, the taps in the bathrooms are all bad, no water flows into the building. Its not the most hygienic place to stay.

The place is cool for academic work

Made new friends here that were cool. Nice hostel except the bad toilets and bathrooms and suckaways which needs total renovation.

Nice place, Chic and elegant structure.Its easily accessible as it is located strategically along the school major entrance, the Bougainvillea road.One of the oldest hostel buildings in Micheal Okpara Federal University of Agriculture Umudike (MOUAU) .IBB Hostel was constructed to meet the students basic accommodation needs.Portable room size with double windows.The major problem faced in IBB Hostel is the Poor Drainage System within the area. The building compound is regularly flooded each time there is a heavy down pour. More so, some facilities within the premises are been damaged by the flood. Sometimes, navigation or movement round the premises is limited do to flooding.

This is one of the Hostel that Men where made in MOUAU. Only the legit students will tell you and vouch for it. IBB Hostel comprise of many Hypers in the school, some choose to stay there not because that they cannot afford to pay and stay in a private lodge. But they chose to stay in the Hostel and the most people you will find in this IBB Hostel are final year students that wants to round up there academic year in the school. There is a steady light and Water in the hostel. Some do say the place smell but I dont really attest to that. No real prove have been given. People who always say that take it as assumptions.
