Recently renovated. No mosquitoes again. Good customer service. Steady power supply. Its a cool place to stay on a budget

Even though its an old hotel via structure, theres still this sense of Decency💯 esp. customer service😉

Although mosquitoes seem to be one of the common features all hotels/lodges in Owerri have in common, youre sure to sleep better here.Very affordable and with amazing customer service support.Most hostels in Owerri with their price range actually look like haunted homes, in terms of how dilapidated the infrastructure would be. But East Gate is quite an exception to that.

The place is good for low cost accomodation and has room for improvement...

Its a nice place if youre looking for where to lay your head for the night. Checked a friend in and the rooms werent really what I expected but the staffs we met were nice and it was okay. Not great but okay.Friend stayed in the standard room so I can comment on the other rooms

There is a lot of Mosquitoes in this hotel rooms and the bathroom system for the room that I stayed in wasnt functioning. I called them and ask them about it before booking based on the reviews that i read, they told me that everything is fixed. I complained about the toilet not working in my room and they refused to fix it until I checked out. 3 🌟 for the few nice staffs including the gate man who cleaned my super dirty car. Will I logde here again? Probably No.

This used to be a popular hotel back 10years ago. Over the years, the management has been slow on maintenance and services have dropped significantly. The hotel is cheap and located near the highway into town so should become again if renovation/proper maintenance are done.

They have high rate of humility, and they can be nice to their customers

I had horrible experience staying there last year 2015 , to begin with, in room my the toilet had no sit cover, scruffy wall, socket plug poor condition unable to charge my phone. Poor customer service.Im scoring them 2 star due to their quick responses to arrange plumber to sort out the toilet sit cover issues and other repairs.

A dirty rooms, old bed covers, rooms have no hot water heaters. Very noisy at night with a dirty fridge and small Startimes TV. Not good🤔

Nice place to chillax if you have to catch up an early morning appointment as its situated just by the famous Okigwe road...also located in a bit remote area of the owerri town which makes lodging cost cheaper.

East Gate hotel is one of the cheapest hotel in Orji. Its located near the interchange. They have a good service
