Owode market is an ancient market from information gathered, it runs every 5 days, and the believe is that food stuffs and other house hold consumables are cheap on market days. However in my opinion is not all true my little experience is that Offa is already becoming a city and Owode market has since turned to a city market and things are not as cheap as it were. Is cheaper to travel out of town to near by villages and get all food stuff cheap and very cheep compare to present day Owode market( My humble opinion!!!).
