I enjoyed the customer service at Z kitchen, the cocktails i had really hit, the bartender sure knows his job. The food wasn’t bad either, I didn’t enjoy my Oxtail Ragu pasta initially probably due to the Yoruba girl in me looking for pepper, thankfully the chef corrected that and the meal came back correct

A modern upscale restaurant with a minimalist-ish design. Z Kitchen has all the elements of great fine dining. Unlike most in Lagos, they also open on Mondays.

Z Kitchen is a very beautiful restaurant, the space, the interior! It’s everything for me.Now to the food! I had the chicken avocado corn salad which I honestly didn’t like, so, I ordered the tiger prawns and pasta and I really enjoyed that.My friend had grilled fish and noodles which she enjoyed.We also ordered chicken wings and fries, I reserve my comment on that😂The highlight was the no baje cheesecake! I must say that’s one of the best I’ve had. It was really yummy.Parking: the car park is quite small but you can park on the street, that’s where we parked, however, it was a weekend.

The service is absolutely wonderful. Ambience 10/10. The food and drinks are also really good. I rarely order desserts at restaurants but I just had to order the cheesecake, and it was yum! Perfect for date nights, casual lunches, meetings with clients. Would definitely revisit very soon!

Second visit to Z kitchen and there seems to have been a furniture update post-pandemic giving it and even better look. Ostrich burger was great but the seafood mix was a bit simple in terms of its flavours. Most of the seafood dishes were flavoured with a variation of lemon and chilli, which whilst adequate was not exciting enough for me. That was the lowest point though, everything else was impeccable. Even their cappuccino was delightful. Would visit again and again

Not what I expected....in a good way! So let me just say I didnt expect the range that the menu is made of.First off, the interior has a good ambience lovely sitting. It might feel a bit claustrophobic and slightly tight but the sitting arrangement helps out with this.Now service, the servers seem to know the menu which is important for me in any restaurant. If youre like me, it helps with choices. Food came out in good time and the styling, another important thing for me, is lovely and technical.Loved the seafood combo that had calamari, prawns and octopus; quiet delicious. Pan-seared sea bass has well made fillet. One hidden love on the menu, The matchstick fries. Its addictive, youd love it too. Had their grilled Ostrich and people, that was my best for the night. I so much wanted more.Overall, a great experience with diligent workers.

First time and I was so impressed. One of the best Nigerian restaurants I have been to. The service was on point and the food was excellent. The choice of wine is varied and shows good understanding of diverse tastes and preferences. The decor is very comfortable although the tables are a bit too heavy - you always need the waiters to move them. The lighting is exquisite though I consider it a bit too bright. I think it can be mellowed slightly to create a more romantic feel. Parking is a bit of a problem but youll eventually get parked by the very helpful security guys. Remember to book a table in advance and specify time because you may not get a table if you walk in. Also, keep to time. Tables get reallocated if you dont get there within 15 minutes of your booking.Its upscale but the price is reasonable for the class of restaurant. Try it out. I think you wont be disappointed - I wasnt.

Looks and feels like home. Had the waiter suggest a meal for me and he suggested the seafood Tagliatelle. The seafood was quite significant and I was not disappointed. The portions are large.

The food and service today was good. Our waiter was attentive and friendly. Communication between wait staff and the kitchen could be better. We got to the end of the meal and were told one dessert (the banoffee pie pictured) wasnt available only for another member of the wait staff to confirm that it actually was but would take longer than usual.Nice, airy and bright spot with a big menu - its not cheap though.

Was extremely noisy for a Sunday midday brunch, the Passionfruit and pineapple cocktail was a hit for me, But the Hot smoked salmon was not it, it tasted like Stockfish. Then I had the mushroom ravioli which was not so great either.... Price point is also high and not worth it.

Loved the intimate,calm ambience of the place. The staff were courteous and professional. Had almost full dinning capacity for the night and was grateful I booked ahead!I had a crispy prawn roll as my starter (loved the cold and crisp taste!)and had steak fries as my main course.medium rare..I must say that this steak was done to my taste.just right.. Chewy without being soft,all the flavours came to life.From the bright and classy settings, z kitchen comes highly recommended..I will be back .

Awesome food through and through. Their tapas were great and their mains were tasty and filling. The most notable dish for me was the flavorful seafood main dish. The spicy sauce was bold and delicious. Chef Zaid has done great!

Just one word.CHEESECAKE!!!!!!!!!If you ever visit and dont try their cheesecake then youre visiting for the wrong reason.

From the outside, you dont know what to expect however, it is beautiful inside. The ambience is great. The food is good. The price- this depends on what you want and what you can afford. For me, I felt it was a bit pricey.The fisherman rice is a classic. You need to try it. The stake was also okay and can be prepared how you want it.

Very well laid out restaurant. Good food offering and varieties with friendly staff. Highly recommend this place, though parking might be a challenge if you will be driving to the venue.

The food was great. A group of us had a private dinner there. We had delicious mezze offerings as first course so we all got to taste a variety of platters . The cocktails were delicious. The servings for the main course were generous.

This place is amazing. One must be prepared for strong taste of food. Taste buds will be tasted to the core. Looked forward to the matchstick fries and they were great. The gambas were just ok, not something I’ll order again or often. The beef rib lasagna was very tasty and filling. The service was also welcoming as was the ambience. I’d recommend you give this place a try.

Good place to go eat with your friends if you can pay the premium price

Well, Z Kitchen came with plenty hype. So my expectation was quite heightened. It probably lives up to the hype, because the ambience looked great and the waiters were quite attentive. However, I ordered the Tiger prawns something... with a side of potato mash and it just didn’t live up. The prawns weren’t just charred, it was so bitter, I wondered if that happened in error or if I required an acquired taste to get it. The mash potatoes had absolutely no hold, it felt like a toddler’s meal. Don’t get me wrong. I will return to Z Kitchen but will definitely stay away from that Tiger prawns... with potato mash.

Z kitchen is one of the newer fine dining restaurants in Lagos comparable to RSVP. This place is always busy in the evenings probably because it is quite new. I had dinner at this place several days ago and the service was amazing. The waitresses name was faith and the service that she delivered was probably one of the best I have had in Nigeria.

Z Kitchen has great meals made from natural ingredients. The taste is superb and the environment is top notch.

Heard about the place and decided to dine in on my birthday. The food is extremely tasteless for its cost. I and my sister had Fisherman rice, basmati rice with chicken wings. The sauce wasn’t properly cooked. The chicken wings was so small and yet expensive. Are you feeding a beggar? The food was TERRIBLE! I couldn’t finish the food because of how horrible it tasted. To be honest, I wouldn’t have paid so much money on food if I knew I was going to hate it! TERRIBLE!!!!!! I am definitely never going there again!

Great Space, Absolutely loved the decor,there is an outdoor smoking area, a wine bar at the back and a super cool and chic courtyard! The starters were very small portioned and probably not suitable for sharing! Also expected more fine dining menu options however the lasagne was super good and the rib eye steak was extremely tasteful. I’ll definitely e back!

The customer service here is the best Ive seen in a while. The attendants were very pleasant. I ordered a starter that I ended up not liking, it was changed without an extra charge. The ambience is really beautiful, perfect for fine dining, date nights and the whole works. The food was good, not over the top. Presentation was good as well. Budget wise, its pricey, quite pricey..but I had a good time.

Loved my food experience at z kitchen. Was hard to get a seat as we didn’t call earlier to make reservation. Lovely staff, great food, great ambience. Think they had an event so it was quite crowded but information received upon further questions to the waiter, confirmed that they always have quite a number of guests to cater to. Food isn’t cheap either but it was great.

Ive been to Z Kitchen twice, because its one of those restaurants you have to specially plan for (coins $$$$)... the food was amazing both times, the staff are courteous and always ready the help. One of the owners attended to me on one of my visits and made sure we had the best experience!

Good food, service is good

First thing you need to know is that this place is premium. Now, I know you hear this sort of thing about Lagos places all the time, but in this case it really is premium. For example, the bouncer/valet guys dont come across as hungry or beggy. The waitstaff are quite well dressed and noticeably more polite than average. They also seem to know the menu, which is quite rare.We had the biryani, lasagna and what turned out to be suya calamari. Lasagna was brilliant, good quantity too. Overall quantity on the biryani was also great, but it did seem heavy on the rice and light on the sauce. The menu did not give us a heads up about the suya nature of the calamari. But the quantity was quite impressive.You probably want to dress to go here, great photo ops. Also youll stick out like a sore thumb if you dont. Wont hurt if also you pick up one of those American accents that Lagosians like so much.

Z kitchen you are the real VMP, omg serene environment, oh boy the ambience is everything, the food is heavenly oh my word did i forget to mention their delicious allumette fries it was so delicious, the casual place for seating is beautiful and cuzy, i really had a great time, its a nice place to have a romantic date with your loved one or night outtimg with family and friends.

My Z ExperienceAnother wonderful fine dining experience. They have a very impressive selection of meats from the butcher’s cut on the menu. Excellent dining experience. We had the Calamari A La Plancha for starters. It felt like I was having soggy suya and I enjoyed it but my friend didn’t. For our main, we had the Fisherman Rice and Ribeye steak. The Ribeye was really delicious and the mash potatoes was yummy. I felt the mash portion was small though. My friend enjoyed the fisherman rice as well. The ambience is really cool and I have never seen so many expats in one place in Lagos. We also had the Victoria Island and Strawberry Breeze cocktail.

I recommend the fisherman rice, Its worth every penny. Others werent that great for me. You have to make reservations in advance or youd be sentenced to dine with the insects at the patio.

Great ambience, lovely food. It was packed on a wednesday night. My party ordered everything from the fillet mignon, rib eye steak, chicken, jumbo prawns etc everyone loved what they had.
