Though my first time at the Chinese restaurant located on the 3rd floor, this wasnt my first visit to the Oriental Hotel. I observed that the efizzy that comes with the Chinese tradition like giving diners hot napkins prior to eating wasnt done. The food was good. I particularly enjoyed the prawn rolls. The food wasnt served on time...experienced delays in-between. The furniture was wood and had like Chinese carvings but besides that and a few wall pictures, I didnt really get a feel of Chinese. In all, we had a great time as I explored other parts of the hotel and took pictures. And for the record, the Bentley i posed with isnt mine. Lol 😆

Ambience is great. Has the Chinese feel. Food is OK, Singapore noodles was so delicious. There services were poor, flies kept popping up.

Nice restaurant inside Oriental hotel. Visited twice including yesterday. Loved Shrimp dumplings, fish in black pepper sauce, Bok Choi and shrimp fried rice. Loved the overall ambiance. Improvement area? They need to repair/replace the bases of some chairs. The black rexin covers are worn out in some places. If you are 4, take the lagoon view seats, they look beautiful in the evening with illumination around lagoon.

Havent been here in maybe 3 years.. but, boy! This place has really gone down the gutters. Run down, clueless staff, exorbitant pricing. A trifecta of worst things to ever happen to a restaurant. Do not visit.

Very nice

This restaurant was a migration of the popular Golden Crown on Ikorodu road with improvements, a better location and even better service. Authentic Chinese/Asian menu in a beautiful hotel with a view of the lagoon. Don’t try the regular meals, ask for their recommendations and you won’t be disappointed

Nice place, you need to see their event hall, too cosy. But they need more to do, like say their garage needs more cleaning, the public convenience there. Its killing the standard of the place. Other than that, nice place.

Very authentic chinese cuines. The menu is inspired from different provinces of China, therefore a variety of Chinese flavours. The restaurant is well crafted in design, round table seats a maximum of 15 people, the pavillion seats 6 people and the lagoon view seats 4 people with a romantic view. Chinese wines are also available, there are many choices so just ask the waiter. Chopsticks are the main cutlery, but for those who are just practicing, spoon, knife and fork are availble by requests. A complimentary appetizer will be served while waiting for the main meal.

The decoration style is relatively old. It may be the domestic style 30 years ago. Now domestic stores are very foreign. The taste of the dishes is okay. I ordered Mao-style braised pork, the portion is just right for one person. The white rice is really good! Domestic friends can go to this restaurant to try it, it is also very quiet. It’s mainly for in-house guests.
