Last time I visited was in 2019 so it was on past experience i decided to check on Backyard again for fine dine lunch.Still love the settings and the attendance. The chef got it right with lamb chops. Decent meal and its still a place I would was recommend for a friends or family hangout. Had a sendforth here in 2018 and was one of the best so far.

In the heart of Victoria Island, it’s a very spacious outdoor relaxation area with fine dining and drinks.The space is well maintained the response time of the attendants is next to none. Their professionalism is worth commending.Parking is indoor within the site and also off-street. There are enough picture spot to have a variety of backgrounds. You should visit!

The chef at Backyard definitely understands the assignment. I honestly did not expect the food to taste this good; every bite was a hit. It was so well spiced and full of flavour.The wait service is also very good.Please keep this chef 👌🏾

I had a pleasant Easter Sunday lunch at The Backyard . The waiter was attentive and professional. The food and drinks were good . Every dish was well cooked and tasty. The layout and ambience made the meal comfortable and enjoyable . They have maintained a great standard over the years .

Amazing dinner experience men. The quintessential eat out bistro set up. The likes of Sidewalk and Shaunz. If you wanted somewhere to wait out traffic, this would be ideal. Also has a massive screen to watch live matches. The ambience is great and the outdoor setup is awesome. Great place to be really.

You have to come here with friends, you guys will love it. Cool ambience, great food and its ofcourse great for taking photos. The menu is not toooooo pricey with mains like Lamb shanks costing around 20k and appetisers like Suya fried yam chips costing around 1.3k. And the portions are pretty sizable. The drinks selection is great as well.

Excellent. The main course was beyond delicious; I would rank it as some of the finest pasta Ive ever had. Even better was the chocolate cake dessert; Ill never forget how good it was. Staff treated us with kindness and completely served our requirements. I am very excited to return!

The backyard bar and grill is a nice place. Good ambience and relaxing atmosphere. Green plants in most areas. So, you have a feel of nature. The bartender did not disappoint. He made my drink just the way I want.

Very lovely ambience. Beautiful environment, well Im a lover of nature so I found the place a fit. The arrangement is lovely too.Quite relaxing. The menu is absolutely great, except that flies were kind of disturbing at the open space (although this might be because it was in the late afternoon) but I think you could relax in the open space with a drink and go into the enclosed place to have your main meal. Its more beautiful in the open space in the evening with the setting and the lights. Live band on Friday and Saturday evenings. Let me not forget to add that you have nice picture spots also. So on your bucket list of things to do in Lagos, make sure you add a visit to Backyard Lounge.

Backyard is a good place day or night. The price is quite reflective If the location but you can still buy beer at mainland price if thats your take.But the night scene Is best.

Huge open space .. to carry out parties its an amazing experience. You can get football screenings with Sheesha of your choice and few beers.There are very few vegetarian options ... if in counting term we find .. they have only 2 options thats French fries or potatoe wedges and hummus pita.Else you all find decent burgers fish fingers pizza pasta

As the name implies, its a backyard setting but with an awesome setting for karaoke and layout that allows for games and engagements. Food there is great.

I ordered the Jumbo suya prawn with jollof rice on the side. I loved the jumbo praws but I did not like the jolleof rice as much.

I had the Backyard wings with yam fries but I would recommend other chicken variants.

The service was excellent. The waiters were respectful and nice. I loved the upscale, sane crowd. I had their Mediterranean Seafood Salad, Avocado Salad, Fish Suya, and Potato Wedges. Food was very good.

This place make much sense ONLY at night

The Backyard is a great place to relax; the interior is well done and appealing to visitors. The convenience of the guests is obviously paramount. Service meets you at the entrance with a smile and your interest is considered when leading you to a table.Ambiance is welcoming with right temperature. A seat out is available managed by a bar. A part of the area is covered by canopy and artificial grass which gives it a cozy outlook. You can also seat on high stools.Coffee plus is a coffee shop opposite the bar and has great array of snacks and coffee. I totally enjoyed my visit and highly recommend The Backyard.

Nice place to hangout in the evenings, serene environment and screens all around for entertainment. Nice menu...however you have to be patient after placing your order.

The Backyard Bar & Grill is a very cool place to hangout alone or with friends.. From the outside, it looks like one of those boring places but when you step in... its extremely cool... Their menu is diversified and interesting.... Hung out with colleagues and the experience is definitely one I would want to repeat and to top it, their prices are competitive... Id not forget to mention that today was Retro-Friday.. So we got treated to some oldies music... overall exciting experience.

Great space, great environment. Probably should have come here years ago. I like the fact that its got both indoor and outdoor hangout, so it fits a wide range of preferences. Pricing is between high and decent, but ok for a VI hangout spot. No yam chips on the menu though...

Very nice bar in a serene environment. Has a wide open space for live-bands and medium-sized concerts. The bar also offers a wide-range of drinks and refreshments with occasional discounts and promotions. The parking space is big enough to accommodate about 20-25 vehicles but may not be accessible to everyone but theres enough space outside the venue by the street.

The Teriyaki chicken was delicious. I live under a rock so I wasn’t aware of this innovation of using clear plastic gloves to eat finger food that has been drenched in sauce. It’s a very welcome innovation to my hermit lifestyle. Had a pleasant bartender as well.

The Backyard is good for pre-drinks, i didn’t care for the food much but it has an outdoor space which is nice.The teriyaki chicken is tasty and they menu isn’t half bad. I went a while ago, but it was alright. The drinks are good.

Lovely place! Incredible prices of drinks and meals. I had Cocktail drink and 2 Sticks of Fish Suya (I couldn’t even finish it) I spent less than N5,000. I actually thought it was going to be more expensive. Anyone can go there, chill and relax over a drink or two without worrying about bank account going RED. Mind you, the fish suya was very tasty 😉.There are lovely areas to take pictures too. Unfortunately I went there for an evening event and I couldn’t explore like I should. I would definitely visit again 😊

My boyfriend and I love the backyard grill and it’s my favorite place when I’m in Lagos. The servers are very polite. The drinks actually properly mixed and the food is super. Trendy spot....I love the decor.....very detailed and fun like the name “backyard”.Cocktails are beautiful and worth your while.The food was good when I visited, been a few months though, I would definitely go back soon....loved the skewers.I recommend for families on sundays, the kids would have a lot of fun running around and ooo, they have a play swing!

Visited this restaurant with some of my friends for business and as soon as you enter you can tell this place is one of the hidden gems in Lagos. There is ample parking even during the busiest of times. The place is neat and clean and also has a business lounge for meetings, photo shoots etc. They have an inside seating area that is tastefully decorated and and outdoor seating that is spacious and well layer out. The waiters were courteous and were knowledgable about the menu. They helped make suggestions and the food came out quite quickly. This is one of my most favourite restaurants in Lagos and I will highly recommend it! You got to try their beef sandwich!! Their chicken wings are spot on if you want some good ol buffallow wings!!

Very Rude behaviour of Service staff. He was Forcing us to pay TIP while we didnt like the food. Menu was BBQ but, it was presented with full of oil. Not worth to pay for average food.

Had the fish suya, loved it. Had a beef burger, it was ok, had kebab skewers, forgot to take a pic. Had lemonade and i must confess, its not ur regular. I loved it, if u are a shisha person, they have it here as well. Overall i had a good time. The long island( cocktail) was strong and on point.

The food is good, and the Chapman is really nice. I ate the buffalo wings, grilled prawns and jollof rice, and I enjoyed them. It is not getting 5 stars because of the flies, and the waitress mixed up my order, but that turned out ok in the end.

A good place with decent food, the service was quick and efficient. The Rib-Eye stake was made nicely, the Griled Salmon was burnt from the grill and dry, but tasty as well.

A nice outdoor place to chill, have some drinks and nibbles.

This place is popular and is always full...and service is slow..but they get their food right. From the teriyaki chicken to the prawns and the hummus. Great outdoor and indoor spaces and the waiters are friendly and so easily forgiven for the slow service

Went on a Friday with friends, outside was already crowded so we sat inside. Good ambience , the food was average and the service was slow maybe because it was a Friday evening , our waiter was distracted and got our bill wrong. Overall we had a good time not a memorable one though

I was there with friends, it had a very nice feel to it, I like the design of the place, and the open space at the back. The food was amazing, I had a chicken burger which was savoury and very satisfying. I had a mojito made to perfection. I recommend it to anyone.
