Fun spot for a quick hangout with a friend.Located in a serene environment. Might be a bit hard to locate, since theres no signboard pointing you there.Lots of drink. Limited options when it comes to the food.Waiter forgot my order(food). So, had only drinks, had to go home to complete the meal from items in my fridge.Nice space in general!
Well, I love this place although it was very hard to find, the Air Conditioner wasnt well positioned and the wait time for the food was interminable.I guess it was mostly the company that I enjoyed. And the food, when they finally brought it out was very appetizing and tasty.
Great place, easy to locate. I particularly liked the ambience as it is very picturesque and all the aesthetics look very attractive. The food we ordered was fairly priced and in sufficient portions that we had to take some away as we couldnt finish it. It was very tasty but the downside for me was the limited food choices they had on the menu.Hopefully you go there when the chef is around so you can get the intercontinental dishes.
It’s a concrete built restaurant (very unusual) cause the floor, walls and bar are pure concrete. The bar is pretty and the glass display attractive 😍. Extremely coded spot in the heart of Gbagada.I actually visited Kaanubaru twice so as not to give a biased review and well… second chances 👀. They have a limited menu and wait time is about 20 - 30 mins depending on the meal. In the 2 visits we had:-Efo riro Chip and Dip(N5,500): It was nice to see but the taste didn’t excite me. Although the Efo riro tasted unique, the corn was too soft and the cheese was in deficit proportion, the chicken was too dry (emphasis on the dry) 👀-Crab+Jumbo 🍤 Jollof Linguine (N5,500): I can eat this all day everyday 😍😍. The taste was divine, seasoning all in the right amount and yes they brought the jollof to the linguine and the prawns were big 😍😍. It was nice enough to convince me to eat a crab 🦀.-Spiced groundnut chicken stew & herbed plantain (N4,500): So good! A perfect chioce if you love rice and the groundnut stew was so nicely flavoured. My only wish was that the plantain was more 👀, for a meal with plantain in its name I expected more than 5 or 6 pieces.-Asaro Platter + Roti (N4,500): If you go there very hungry, order this. Great value for money and everything in this combo tasted lit. The Roti flat bread was interesting!Overall I’ll rate a 7/10, they are doing well. Now onto the drinks, we got Tequila sunrise and Gidi Sunrise mock tails . The bartender here knows his work when it comes to mocktails cause I enjoyed these! A big yass to adding cinnamon in cocktails 💃. Mocktails costs N2,500 eachLovely space to visit for a date or casual meetup. They open by 4pm
Hidden spot in the Gbagada area. The drink was great, the food was good . Nice and beautiful interior. Waiter was very polite and courteous.
Its a cool spot and I just had the linguine which is basically the seafood pasta. Mehn! Its well spiced and just the right portion of spicy. The staffs are quite friendly as well, definitely gonna return!
Serene and Pristine environment away from the stress that comes with the hustle and bustle of Lagos!
Very nice and cozy.Good place for a family night out
Excellent service. Bar section opens by 6pm
The ambiance is top class. Fantastic service and staff. Always a delight. Great meals. Just perfect
Loved the place and the staff were quite attentive
Very private and perfect for a romantic date...freshly made food, cocktails, alcoholic drinks and wine also available.
Loveeeeed this place. Ambience 100%, loved my strawberry daiquiri, the bar guy is the most cheerful person ever. Will definitely go back there.
Kaanu Baru, besides the fact that their menu is one of a kind, their newly decorated space gives off a really mature “underground restaurant” vibe. Many underground restaurants are found behind unmarked doors, tucked inside someone’s home or inside another restaurant. Kaanu Baru looks to be one of such. Places like this are never crowded so you can trust to have enough privacy if that’s what you are looking for.
Very cozy and chilled. I like to go here to get away from the world and food is nice
Cool place to just chill. Quite mature and a great place to unwind and enjoy cool sound.
Lovely ambiencePoor parking arrangement
Relaxing ambience and good service.
Hidden gem in Gbagada. Youd have no clue a restaurant was in the building from the view outside the building
A nice and wonderful place to be... with an outstanding sharing menu.A waaaaaaw !!!Jaime beaucoup ce restaurant 👍💯🥰
