When I visited Lagos, I wanted to make sure I ate GOOD! So I asked a few friends to recommend places and about 3 or 4 of them all mentioned Ile Eros so I knew I had to try it for myself.Let me just say the FOOD IS AH-MAZINGGG! I went there for lunch with my friends and the ambience was so relaxing. I even forgot to take pictures of myself or them. We had lovely conversations and the waiters were very polite, our orders didn’t take too long to come as well. It is like a mini art gallery, there is even art for sale there. Now let’s get into the food as pictured1st picture - Plantain lasagna, that understood the assignment. It was yummy, cheesy and proves why plantain is the G.O.A.T when it comes down to it2nd picture - carrot cake, now I almost didn’t have this because I was full but I got convinced by someone who said it is the best I will ever have. You know what? They were absolutely right! It was indulgent, moist and my only downside is that it’s too small.3rd picture- Puff puff party, this was the only thing that I found a tad bit underwhelming. It’s meant to be puff puff with fillings like prawns, chicken etc but I felt there were more plain puff puffs than the ones with fillings. So I won’t really recommend.I’ll definitely visit again to try out more of their menu. If you are yet to go. Take this as a sign to get in there!

My send forth, it was a long day of numerous activities and emotions so not sure I was able to fully enjoy the experience. But all I can say is a truffle jollof rice was on point the beef tenderloins especially the sauce great, the pasta nice. I couldnt finish the meal so it was better appreciated the next day.

Uhm... not so great a menu. The spice in the meal I had was over-powering; greatly over-spiced. The sauce was a no-go; I think they were going for sour, but it fell real flat. Scenery? Nah. Overall, it all fell really short of my expectation going in.

One of the best places I visited on my trip home, looking for proper Nigeria food in a clean, classy and exquisite environment? Go to Ile Eros. Customer service is 110%. The Billionaire Chef is doing it right! Not so excited about the cocktails tho, ingenuine recipes but not my favorite.

I had the fish pepper soup. Blessing attended to us. I wish she would smile more. The soup was heaven, served in what looked like a moulded clay pot, the soup was poured out of a bronze kettle. It was a nice touch. Went with two other friends and we sat in the chefs corner. Our bill came to about 28k they both had rice. It was garnished with microgreens . Love love loved it!

Nice, serene ambience, quiet location, cosy feel. Ile Eros is a good spot for a quiet time out; the staff were polite, friendly and knowledgeable about the menu items (thankfully); prices are very fair and the overall set up has a modern feel to it. There are several unique options in the menu (both food and drinks) and the place has 3 different sitting areas (one outdoors and two indoors). On the flip side, the food took quite a while to prepare (approx. 25 minutes) and the food portions are small. You can however make up for this by ordering more than one item without having to break the bank.

Good lighting, average ambience. Service was decent. The food was a C- , ordered a Yaji themed seafood pasta but for some reason there was no seafood available on a Sunday which was a total bummer and reduced the whole experience for me. Ended up having a roast chicken Yaji pasta, the chicken was wayyy too dry but Ive had the seafood option which was really good so I was a bit surprised how it didnt translate to the roast chicken one. theyre getting a C because Ive had their seafood Yaji pasta and their plantain themed lasagna which were both good and I was hoping for a similar experience but alas. A big fan of their Nigerian infused continental dishes even though it doesnt sound like it, just expected better.

I had dinner with my team at Ile Eros restaurant. It was an amazing time there. I love the traditional feel inside and the wonderful art work gracefully displayed on the wall. I couldnt help, but stare at the images as I ate.Well, its my first time going to a restaurant where the menu is not handed to you by the waiter/waitress as you have to scan the code with your I phone to see the menu. Unfortunately, I had an android phone and for me to check the menu, I need to download the app which seem like a long process especially when I am hungry and I just want to eat and go.The waiter was attentive and got our orders right. I had the prawns as a starter and I liked the way the palmwine was served in a cute cup wrapped with palm leaves. I ordered for seafood penne pasta as a main course and it was a lot. The portions are reasonable trust me.It is a nice place to be!

Ile éros - a must visit.I’d tell you why in this review. This restaurant isn’t your regular restaurant, it’s the feel of gourmet food with Nigerian infusion. The creativity, technique & aesthetic is pretty unique. (Price against all these? Unmatched!)I could tell with every of my order the chefs culinary experience has gone beyond borders.___________________________________________ORDER* PLANTAIN LASAGNE - 5,800* Seafood pasta - 8,500* Spicy steak & plantain skewers -1,500* Mojito - 4,000* Jumping jack - 4,500___________________________________________REVIEWPlantain lasagneI thought this was a combination of sweet & savory flavors, had seasoned minced beef, a layer of plantain topped with Parmesan cheese & plantain chips. Served with garlic bread. This was crunchy because it was fried rather than baked. It was crunchy on the out & tender on the inside rather than an overall tender texture.I also thought the portion was really small. So if you’re a heavy eater or severely hungry? You may want to order this with a side.___________________________________________Seafood pasta.I’m sure y’all would wonder - pasta again? But yeah! Pasta again! 🤤This seafood pasta was creamy, cheesy & tasty. It had calamari & prawns. What did it for me was the ability to balance out all the ingredients. None overshadowed the other.I thought the presentation of this pasta could have been better because I didn’t think it would taste as good based off its presentation.___________________________________________Spicy steak & plantain skewersI kid you not! When this was served? I didn’t think that was it. Because again? Portion was small, literally had like 3 pieces of meat on it 🤷🏾‍♀️ but on the flip side? It tasted good. So Yh maybe I forgot about it’s portion after I tasted it.___________________________________________DrinksThe jumping jack was an absolute fave! Mixed to perfection.___________________________________________Again, if you get here hungry? Bear in mind wait time is mad long! The waiter was knowledgeable about the menu - I liked that.My highlight coming here has to be the food. It’s really good. Technique is really on steroids here.I’d definitely come back here! What? I’m trying everything on their menu! 🤤😋

Hands down one of my best dining experiences in Lagos.I tried their tasting menu for dinner this past Christmas and the food tasted amazing. My faves were the Truffle Jollof and the Yaji Pasta(not pictured)Eros also took his time to explain the dishes and the inspiration behind each oneMy only con is that two of our courses did take a bit of time to get out, but all in all the food tasted great!I’ll be back

The food was really good. I particularly liked the fried beans and the Zobo cocktail. Its a creative way to serve Nigerian dishes. The service needs to improve though. They waiters appear confused and a mismatch with the creativity portrayed in the menu. For such a modern and innovative menu, the decor, the casually dressed waiters and the crockery are a mismatch. Having said that, its still good food at prices that are not bad compared to similar restaurants. A word of caution though. If you are a heavy eater, you will find the portions small.

Ile Eros gives you the feel of gourmet food with Nigerian infusion. Its different from all others and uniquely so. I particularly love the aesthetics and plating but thats whats fine dinning is about right? If youre not having the tasting course then try the Tuwo with Agushi cream: its tuwo mascara and egusi ijebu that went to Harvard! The chef was great, educating us with every serving. The service was almost perfect until the last course when our attendant started handing is our cutleries from across the table. In fairness to her it was about 10pm so I just assumed she was tired. Id have given a 5star if she endured to the end. Great place overall

Located in Lekki phase 1, Ile eros is not hard to find. Its a cosy place tucked away in Lekki and basically in 2 parts. The front part hosted the secret dining experience where we were treated to the chefs 4 course meal. Staff were pleasant, ambience is awesome and the presentation of the meals were beautiful. Something should be done about the flies though. Still a worth while experience

It’s a cute space so safe to say not for a large crowd of 3 different parties, service was a bit slow and took them forever to bring the bread(I mean we literally had to beg for it) but when it came it was heavenly (or was I just hungry, lol). Not one that likes her puff puff meddled with so the puff puff party was a hard pass, the bbq sauce on the wings was artificially sweet so you know it came straight from the bottle plus the suya spice added on it was all shades of wrong, I’ll give them an A in presentation but the food didn’t blow me away.

I loved the ambience. So I booked online before going and i will advice you to do the same. I ordered for aquatic okro and yam rolls (simply pounded yam and seafood okro) lol. It cost N6,500.There is a long wait time though but they served starters on the house. It was burnt bread and seasoned truffles. It was nice though. Great place in a very quiet part of Lekki (off Fola Osibo). Nice ambience and extremely great service (the staff that served us deserves a lot of tipsss). Food is super nice and wonderfully presented. Be sure to try that Eros jollof rice, that dish hits differently. As good as the jollof is, you probably won’t expect the burst of flavors from the roast chicken. I still have vivid memories of the taste and texture as I type this.I wasn’t too pleased with the time though. I came in very hungry and the orders took a long time to arrive. Also, among all we ordered, the jollof dish was the only one that seemed enough. The others were not too small but not as much as I had expected (judging from a review I saw here previously). I also think they should increase the size of fresh juice glasses, those 200cc glasses don’t cut it at all.Apart from this, we had a really great time at Ile Eros. Chef Eros also came out to have a small chat - super nice guy. I will most definitely visit again.

My most recent experience at Ile eros was rather disappointing. For someone who has previously dined at ile eros twice, recommended the place to friends and colleagues they dropped the ball on this one.My Dear friend ordered Seafood Ayamashe w/coconut cream rice on my behalf in my words their food is good so I think I will like anything. for reference, I had other restaurants to choose from. When I opened the meal it smelt off. I told myself Nah it cant be!!! The rice was already going bad and slightly slimy. Ofada wasnt seafood, it had a decent portion of proteins, however, it tasted bitter, it had a weird smell and didnt taste fresh. Danbunama Rolls was equally soggy!!! With each bite, I tried convincing myself that it was all in my mind. Alas! it wasnt. I ended up throwing it away. How do you sell food that wasnt freshly made to customers? Bukka Ofada tastes way better than this. To be fair it was ordered around past 5 pm so I guess they just sold leftover. I reached out to them via Instagram and got a we are so sorry about that 😢 definitely not good enough. You guys need to fix UP!

Im a fan of the head chef at this restaurant, hence the 3 star (our experience with the taste of the food was a 2). There was a particular sauce/spice that most of the dishes we ordered had (we had prawn suya, beef suya, yaji pasta & plantain lasagne). It threw off the taste of all the dishes. The chicken in the yaji pasta had no seasoning and the yaji pasta only had yaji on the top, and there was no yaji taste throughout the pasta. I believe the food can be much better, maybe it was an off day for the kitchen

I feel bad for the owner but the rudeness of his bartender was a doozy. I did not even know bartenders are allowed to come to guests to interrogate them. Another useless place in Lagos. This has been the worst experience I have had in a while.Update: I left a similar review on their Instagram and they took it off. Smh. Unprofessional. For starters, you might want to try the Lamb and Carrot made of spicy lamb, carrot puree and a broth. Nice to have. Their pepper soup costs about ₦2,000 and its worth that and a bag of chips. If youre into pepper soup, youd like itThey make good grilled steaks which are for about ₦3,000. Try their cheese cake for about ₦2,500 and quite tasty. Prices arent so bad compared to a good part of the menu. Service is a bit flawed. A bit of time wasting, presentation could be better though.
