IGI is a scam. Do not patronize them. They are owing me and other tons of people who trusted their hard-earned money with them. I started a 5 year policy in 2015 with 15k monthly premium. I lived up to my expectations for 5 years, its now over a year that am due to receive my total premium paid of about 1M naira. I havent received 1 naira until today even with constant emails and calls.I decided to write this review for others not to fall into same trap and scam that me and several others had unfortunately fallen into.

This is one of the most unless insurance company I have ever seen. I made an investment with them for 5 years (N10,000 every month). Never missed any premium payment. The investment expired December 2019. Till now, they are yet to give me my money. From one story to another. I regret deeply.

Too busy when I went, I had to wait quite a while to be attended to, and service was rather slow when I was. The customer relations officer made a good effort, though.

They are full of unpaid claims, benefits and outstanding bills from customers. In fact the company dont know what theyre doing at now .

This is definitely one of the worse insurance company in Nigeria , the environment is unkempt, the furniture at the reception are are all bad , there was no receptionist to attend to you, the staff lacks great customer service , to get your money is like getting an elephant pass a needle hole. You can stay a year before getting your investment funds. You will go through stress to get your money. Its a total shame that an insurance company that was highly regarded has been brought in shame. I am highly disappointed and still trying to wake up from this sad reality.

IGI is a scam. Do not fall for their big name.My colleagues and I (as well as a lot of people I came across at their office) subscribed for their insurance plan for 5yrs and more. We were supposed to be paid in full the month after the final deductions.Its almost a year for me (and more than 2yrs for some of my colleagues)... IGI is yet to pay us.On one of the days I went to their office, I met a man who claimed to have been paid in instalments 500k per year...on an investment he should have been paid at once years ago, and IGI is yet to pay him in full.So, if you love your sanity, avoid IGI at all cost. They have gone bankrupt, but are unwilling to come out and say so! Any form of investment you do with them is at your own risk!

Please for the sake of your peace of mind, run from this useless company. I terminated my policy since 2017 but they are yet to pay me. I have had to engage a lawyer and may have to take them to court. This company is a disgrace

IGI is probably the worst insurance company in the country with so much unpaid claims. Customer service is terrible they just stop responding at some time

Am not satisfied at their services,I have a policy which I requested to terminated in July 2017, up till February 12th 2018, the company has been tossing me up and down without any concrete reason why my termination hasnt been paid to me....when it comes to termination of policy, it takes forever!
