Nice hotel. Calm and quiet neighbourhood. Nice staff. Rooms are ok. Id advice you get rooms from the deluxe rooms upwards though. The amenities are also OK. Good pool. Constantly being cleaned. You will have some peace and quiet here.

How can this facility have 4 stars on google and hotel be rated as 4star hotel? Everything about this hotel is wrong. Poor maintenance of interiors. Have changed multiple rooms in one day. Rooms have been dirty and literally falling apart. One had water dripping straight from ceiling. Mold walls, mold AC, in last room AC did not work at all. No mirror at bathroom, cracked shower, dirty floors . Really disgusting place..everything smelled damp amd mold. I am warning all travelers to avoid this facility and save yourself dissapointment. Cheapest room goes 35000 naira on promo, this hotel is not worth 5000.

I cant begin to count how many things are wrong with this place, first of,they claim to have 24 hours service... Its a big sham... The staff are drab and slow,I called room service at 4am because they didnt leave any water or utilities in my room,and they said theyre sleeping and theyll fix it in the morning,the room key card never works even though I stayed in two different rooms,they had to bring a technician and use a normal key,towels were old, bathtubs were rusty,and one of the customers stole a bottle of vodka my bf bought while at the poolside,we went to reception to complain and try to call the room the customer was,they said they were feeling sleepy,and didnt know anybody like the guys we described...the food were not worth the prices on the menu,they only have 20 percent of what is displayed in the menu, elevator didnt work,the electric jug was dirty to make tea,it had stale water in it,we had to leave by 4am,it wasnt worth the money paid at all,at all.!!! The garden was the only thing I enjoyed,and some turtles I saw in a small gutter.

The room was comfortable. Buffet breakfast was excellent. I stayed for 2 nights in room 107 and it had NO hot water......that was my only regret

OK first and foremost, I love d place.. Some few things concerns me, the rooms needs a totally upgraded, u cant even soak in the tub its rediculously dirty yellow stains, black stains, the toilet cover cant open all the way up, the tiles in d bathroom overall they need to upgraded and change everything, when I asked d front desk I need a adaptor sucket for d hair dryer, he said he will call me back, no ones called back til my daughter fallasleep., this place is a good place to stay.. But they need renovation, a hotel like this has potential if they upgrade their rooms

I OVERLY LOVED THIS PLACE!!!!!is it safe to say I plan on doing half of my honey moon here when I get married??🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣Okay right into details.The hotel itself is gorgeous. YES gorgeous!!!!Its neat with top-notch security. If youre a lover of nature this is the place for you. Because of the plants around, bon voyage is naturally breezy. In the morning it smells like dews,mist and fog. Then at noon it Has a beach kinda Air circulating around (maybe because its very close to the sea)The entrance of the hotel has a wheelchair accessible parking/entrance, ample packing space and a lovely view from the front. a water pot with a never ending water flow, and a nice arrangements of plants by the side.Once inside the hotel theres a bar at the far end on the right and a waiting/sitting space for visitors to wait and for guests to chill. Then to the left is the receptionist desk, entrance to the dining room/kitchen and main door leading to the main hotel.The front desk/receptionist are well trained, efficient, neat, and polite. They are always ready to help.Once inside, the hotel consist of different sections. Theres a presidential suite, apartment suite, seaview suite, standard suite ETC.Theres an elevator to use and a short flight of stairs (if you want to exercise your leg)The suites has everything in it, really spacious, nice backgrounds, clean and well air-conditioned rooms, electric kettle, chocolate, milk, sugar, a saucer cup, coffee, green teas ETC.The toilet is really neat, with like 3 towels to just 1 person and some basic toiletries like shower Caps, shaving cream, shaving sticks, toothbrushes, hair dryer, tooth paste, ETC.(they come in kits tho like the vanity kit, ETC)Youre entitled to a complimentary buffet breakfast that ends at 10am, you dont want to miss☺️☺️Theres a gym, thats always open. The pool area is really lovely with dope background. The swimming pools are neat and has an nice depth.All In all, BON VOYAGE is the right and best place to be in VI. Its private, quiet, serene. And Has nice views. Plus its extremely clean.Its wayy closer to everywhere in Lagos island. Because its in the heart of VI bon voyage is close the beach(es) law school, top-notch celebrity night clubs, famous bars, major shopping malls etc.The environment is safe and secure and really cool for night strolling, jogging or walks.I could go on and on tho but Ill end it here.I really want to commend the cleaners. They are doing such an amazing job. They are so helpful, sincere, lovely and know their job.Personally for me tho, their food is a little bit on the high side. But like the chef said, its always fresh and sea food, so I guess its worth it.

Its a nice place with beautiful scenery. I was at their pool and I can say its ok. Although I was not there to find fault or criticize but I noticed the workers dont smile often. I will recommend that they become more hospitable.

An affordable Oceanside getaway right in the heart of Africas busiest city. A bit past its best, but the ambience is still great.

My stay at this hotel is nothing short of horrid. From being asked to pay to park inside by the security guard and being asked to walk under the rain while they found an umbrella for a man that came right behind me. There’s no good thing to write about my stay here, in the 72hours I stayed here, many of their amenities were a sham. The bathroom was so dirty, AC remote wasn’t working, the Wifi had to be fixed multiple times & still it didn’t work. Should I start with how sexist the staff are... and how it’s only “men” they respond to? Lol, Nigeria has a very long way to go with customer service. I didn’t ask for much, all I wanted was a getaway. But honestly I really regret my stay here and how you have to complain about the barest minimum.

There is so so much that can be improved on. Its rated as a 4 star, but it really is losing its standard. From customer service, to room service trays left outside for hours, and housekeeping issues, it leaves a lot to be desired. Its a shame, because it has a lovely view and it is well located in VI.

A 4 star hotel in Victoria island with over 60 rooms,a swimming pool,sea view and lots more.

It was okay. Quiet and private. Had issues with the kitchen & their food. Some reckless cockroach came to say hello in my food.

This hotel doesn’t deserve more than 2stars. I went there to pay for my reservation and I was disappointed . It looked old and musty. The front office guy I saw there was dismissive and was more interested in attending to the white people that were checking out . I don’t know if he was that rude because I was a woman or because I was black. I will totally not recommend . I took my money somewhere I was treated with dignity .

I booked for 4 rooms online and i got to the hotel on 20/02/2021 and was told to pay for a room upgrade that the available rooms are more expensive that what i ordered for . Very unprofessional hotel receptionals . The roof of the hotel reception is broken and leaking . Structure not properly maintained . Rooms smelling damn and wet .

I think I had a great experience for two days, I warn you, the hotel staff are super courteous, service is top notch, did I mention they have a beautiful restaurant?... I had issues with the steak though and I recommended it should be made softer, very cozy and noiseless, beautiful scenery too, you can even do a wedding by their pool side if you have few guestsTheir swimming pool is not yet allowed for swimming though, I guess covid issues, wouldve stayed more if that was in place, but all in all, its my choice whenever Im on the island

A wonderful place

This is a great hotel. Its swimming pool faces the lagoon. It has wheelchair accessible entrance. The ambience is incredibly awesome. Drinks are always cold. Its has this African taste that looks really good. Oh also has good parking lot. Looks very secured too.

Didn’t like the hotel, I saw rats around the hotel, the rooms don’t certainly look like what’s posted online and it was a 55k room looking like a 20k room or lower. I didn’t stay, asked for a refund and it’s a month and I haven’t gotten it up till now, no response till date! I won’t recommend to anyone at all

Hotel Bon Vogage exceeded my expectation. Loved my room and the staff were beyond kind. I wish I had said goodbye to everyone properly when I was leaving but I almost missed my connecting flight.However, when they say Nigerians are a kind nation of people I experienced that warmth there. Don, the bartender was hilarious and very detailed. While Rosemary in the kitchen was beyond courteous. I loved every minute of my time there. Wish I could have stayed there longer.

Bon Voyage is located in a quiet neighbourhood, off Ajose Adeogun and is a cosy place. Note however this review is with respect to just the pool area as I havent lodged in the hotel before. The grounds and public areas are neatly kept and the pool area in particular is a nice place to chill and have drinks and / or a good meal

It is a good place to relax when on budget. Yet to get a feel of their services

They are currently doing construction at the property, inside and out. I was placed in a room that looked like they were still fixing things in the room. There was a whole carved out and the staff made it seem like it was normal. After I found the shower door to be broken they sent someone in to fix it and when they couldnt they then moved me to another room. The room I was placed in was ok but I would not call this a luxury hotel. It is more just standard if you are looking for a place to stay for the night, old furniture/sheets and the tub was rusty. The hotel is very old and outdated in many ways. Several times between the hours of 8pm-1am the power went out in the hotel and for 4-10minutes at a time. I went to the restaurant on site and it took forever to get service, I was the only person in the place and the staff were just talking for over 5 minutes on the side. The service boy who took my bags to my room was the most helpful person during this stay. If you just need a place to lay your head at night then this is the place to stay but nothing more.

It was clean, staff were very helpful and courteous. Complimentary breakfast though tasty was too basic however and there wasnt a towel on the floor after taking a shower. Unsure if hotel was short staffed but my husband and I appreciated unobtrusive stay, it was nice to roam the beautiful grounds uninterrupted.

This hotel is run down and not clean

Amenities were not as listed. When addressed was told I need to request. The first room had strange bugs ac and tv not working. I was given another room. I rented room with queen bed was given a full size. Only one towel given daily had to beg for two. The travelers store the gift shop was not opened. The food was not cooked well. I was very disappointed. Due to the fact that I paid expedia in advance I was unable to relocate.

I love it! It has a romantic, chic and cozy setting. Basic facilities provided including an electric kettle, hair drier etc. The staff to are super professional and friendly! Room service is wack though, never takes their calls (and I tried multiple times) and it takes ages to respond to requests. Also, the place is beautiful for maintenance is really poor.

Quite nice with good service. Limited parking space and live band too close to rooms and disturbs early sleepers.

Poor customer care

Its an old property, but well maintained. The reception is so-so, they have swimming pool area facing the lagoon, small one...they have mini apartments also which is a cave like, nice idea, good for groups. Rates are not that bad though, service is good, staff are approchable.
