Second time and almost didnt want to leave but for Covid 19 curfew. Good packed ambience. The crowd is diverse - from artistes to professionals, young and old, expatriates and non expatriates. Its a good midpoint between a lounge and a club.Drinks were on point and the barman knows what hes doing. The service is excellent too. The music is great and the budding artistes coming on stage trying out their stuff added to the buzz. Its a great experience.Remember to book a table because it is always packed. Pricing is great and affordable. Youll love the place if youre artisty and enjoy having a god time generally with a mix of DJ and live music.

Bogobiri House is a cosy, beautifully designed, African-themed space in the heart of Ikoyi. It is great for semi-formal meetings and lunch dates. It often features open mic nights and poetry recitals. The meals are also really good. Be sure to do the yam and eggs and a coffee for a proper kickstart to a Lagos day.

This is a quaint, out of the way bar and restaurant. Boutique hôtel as they describe themselves. Its good for a second date, on a Saturday evening. They have reggae music upstairs and an open mic downstairs on most Saturdays. The open mic is not free, but the reggae music is.I found myself singing along to some oldies but goldies.Definitely recommend, 5/5.Price- Beer 1k +- 200 depending on brandFood - 5k +- 1500 depending on dishBudget - maybe 6k per person.

The art gallery was still under renovation with a few piece of art works, we were not allowed to take pictures of the art works, and it was like an old school setting! There is a place to get clothes, neck and leg beads and many other art related items. I didn’t like the restaurant settings so I didn’t have anything there, and because of that we were told that customers who just comes in and not buy anything are not allowed to take pictures in their environment! It wasn’t a bad experience after all because the guide in charge of the gallery showed us around and told us a few things about the art works!

Excellent customer service and great food and drinks. Live Reggae music on Saturday was quite nice. Definitely try the goat curry. We got a spa session and art class as part of the weekend staycation package and got to take our art home with us. Theyre Covid-19 careful as well so relax and enjoy.

The ambience is superb, but was disappointed with the food. I ordered grilled fish and was served fried fish. Super disappointed 😥

I went here with friends on a Thursday evening during open mic night. It was quite an entertaining experience! Every act was great and neither disappointed! The space was quite crowded; they should consider re-working the room to optimize seating because it was somewhat uncomfortable to sit on beanbags and eat on our laps. They can certainly remove the oversized tables that were unused and in the way. For this reason, I gave 4 stars rather than 5. Additionally, the food was not the best. Overall though the musical experience was worth it, and I would recommend Bogobiri for a night out with friends/just to appreciate good local music, comedy and other talents.

This is a rare gem in the heart of Ikoyi. Located beside Awolowo Road and a street off Falmouth roundabout. In my opinion this is a boutique hotel. I choose this place because of its location and cosy feel. I wanted something less razzmatazz from the hotels in Lagos and personal.Because its a small hotel, the room service, reception and bar services were very efficient. My previous experience of room service in large hotels was often been a long and tedious waiting game often compounded by very confused staff.... more comimg

Bogobiri hasnt changed much over the years. It looks a little more upscale than before, no doubt upping the ante to satisfy the growing expatriate crowd. But this is Corona season, and even Bogobiri felt the pinch. The diehard house combo insisted on playing full pelt for an audience of about 4 people. And in typical Bogobiri style, they looked well spaced out oblivious of the empty seats. All the same, its a lovely place for a night out. Shame the drinks are so expensive.

This is a boutique hotel which will really give you a feel for Lagos. The night life is very lively given that there is an art gallery and club where the most vibrant entertainment can be found. Staying at the hotel isnt the greatest experience though; if you arent used to the heat and humidity of Lagos, and frequent power outages, you had better stay at another hotel where there is reliable backup power and good air conditioning. All said, its a great place and a must-visit if you are in Ikoyi.

Only giving it 4 stars because the vibe can be hit and miss. That being said when the vibe is right, the place is popping! I tend to go on Thursday Evenings for their Open Mic Night. The in house band, The Veterans are some talented dudes. They are honestly what keep me coming. Their covers of old and new songs, local and international, are always on point and full of spirit. Lolo is an excellent host for the evenings; nice, welcoming and knows how to get the crowd hyped. She has an excellent voice as well.If you’re going to the open mic night I advise you get there as early as you can. Seats can and will disappear quickly and there isn’t much/any standing room to speak of.
