Decent setting and ambience to worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness ; nicely quietly tucked away in the midst of the busy area, an oasis of serenity.The full choir robing for the Memorial Service we attended would have been better appreciated, though.

I went for the 10am Sunday Mass. It was solem and straightforward. I guess its a place for Mass when you dont want to be bored with multiple offerings.

Its where I have been worshipping for over 20 years. Due to Covid-19, mass times have changed and we have multiple masses now on Sundays. Weekday masses remain the same. A great place to practice catholicism

I visited Lagos and stayed in surulere and so I decided to attend mass there. I was really surprised at what I saw, the gigantic building, the beautiful colour and the setting if the church, With parking space inside the church building. The building has the capacity of accommodating more than 5,000 person and has different exit route. It also has a wheelchair accessibility walkway. The parish has a massive bookshop where they sell sacramental. I really enjoyed the homily by the priest and the choir render beautiful songs. The parishioners are welcoming in all, it was a wonderful experience. If the road to the church is expanded, it will be wonderful.

Great Church with great minds but very tight with limited car park compared to St. Dominic.Church service last longer also compared to St. Dominic.Close to me but I have to drive to St. Dominic almost every Sunday

I loved the mass i attended on sundays. Am not a parishioner but the mass was less chaos like the recent trend with the catholic church, with listened to a well spirited homily.

Its a church, Catholic, to be precise. Its a place of worship. A place to seek Gods face. Although Im not a Catholic member, Ive attended masses here twice on various occasions. The church has a hall and a good parking space. On the same street is the Gbaja market, the Gbaja mother and childs hospital and the Gbaja secondary school.

My church my home

St Anthonys is a beautiful compact church. Msgr B Okodua is the parish priest. It is a friendly community and has a bookshop and clinic. It also has a hall, which is available to be hired for events.There are six Masses on Sundays (6.15am, 8.00am, 8.00am [children], 9.45am, 11.30am and 6.00pm). There are Masses on weekdays at 6.30am, 12.30pm and 6.30pm except on Tuesday evenings reserved for BBC meetings. There only 6.30am Mass on Saturdays. Confessions hold on first, second and third Saturdays of the month at 5.00pm.Catechism classes hold on Saturdays (4.00pm) and Sundays (3.30pm)

I attended a wedding here. The building is magnificent and a good structure but its old and lacking basic maintenance. It has a hall on the ground floor. The coordinating father at the service is gentle and seemed cool. There is a parking space although its small but the security men are always available to help out with people moving in and out their cars.

Serene environment. Architectural masterpiece which maximises the available space to accommodate various sections: church, hall, grotto, car park.I love to worship here.

St Anthony church ,Gbaja was a Catholic church owned by the Catholic Diocese of Lagos, Nigeria.The building are big of which will contain a large number of people, On 7th April, 2019 was my first visit to the church and am really impressed by the massive turnout of people, the choir ,the homily and a lot really made my day, the church arrangement is really nice with many route entrance.The church has @accessibility walk way .Their have different bookshop were all kinds of sacramentals are been sell.Their have parish hall for meeting and other kind of gathering.But lack space, the road leading to the church need to be well constructed, to reduce traffic and others.

The church is old and still look good is one of the best church in surulere right now
