Oniru private beach is a fun place to be. Though, kind of crowded, it was packed with enough fun things to do for fun seeking lovers. The music and night life was an experience beyond just being good. There was ample parking space which had to be paid for.The public restroom also has to be paid for before it can be used. After all is said and done, it is still a wonderful place to be.
Im giving it a three star because the place is too rowdy, full of bad boys always smoking around. If care is not taken, peoples stuffs might be stolen. Its a nice place though but the place needs more maintenance. It was raining the day I visited and the tent we got was leaking. We had to stand till the rain finish before we could sit. The horse riders rode carelessly and people had to run for their lives to avoid being hit also the fee being charged for using the toilet facility is too much.. Aside from that, it was fun. Starting from the both Cruse, the atmosphere on the ocean is superb. It was fantastic.
The beach is a very beautiful place to spend some time. Oniru beach is one of the beaches Ive been to and I didnt regret.I liked the night view of the beach! The environment is well lit.Theres a car park in the compound, side attractions, horse riding, and of course a very private club there.Oniru beach is a beautiful place to spend time with family and friends.
Good to know the COVID-19 safety precautionary measures were followed...so I felt safe 😊.Food & drinks are not allowed but they have a good array of food on their menu, though not many choices but quite tasty! I like the lovely concept with (artificial) animals used as decorations. The service was nice also..... I loved my raspberry smoothie as well.I had lots of fun on the swing....been a bit I went on 1. In all, I really enjoyed myself.....and yes, the environment was clean and they sure have comfortable seats 😊
Its a Fun outlet actually but too crowded as at the time of visit (probably cos it was weekend), its really a nice place to be for hangout with friends and family. Also, that place is an expensive place to be, when you plan to visit, have enough cash on you cos POS people and vendors will be ready to even rip you off.
Lovely beach with lot of place to explore. They have good parking space. Many bars & pubs with boating available & horse riding too. Its a clean beach too.
Oniru Beach is located at Ligali Ayorinde St. The beach has variety of restaurants and bars you can chill at. They have horse ride for a fee of 1000 as at when i went, ferris wheel etc. You can get varieties of things ranging from small chops to food to drinks/alcohol to coconut drinks etc on the beach. You can dive/swim/Play around the Ocean but you have to be very careful. I also love the beautiful view Eko Atlantic which you can see while standing or sitting on the beach. Also be careful with your belongs once you get to the beach. There are some small boys that roam around the beach.
I went to Moist beach on Oniru private beach, the beach is clean and the service was prompt. The food was well seasoned and tasty, and the music wasnt too loud for conversation...At least until sundown when they turned it up...The food was pricey and shockingly portioned for the price...i didnt expect what i ordered, I thought itd be smaller 😂😊 But it was well worth it.
Super amazing experience and good beach view. A bit crowded on holidays. 1000 gate fee and 500 for car parking. To rent a pair of chairs and table costs 4000 to 5000. A speed boat ride costs 5000 naira. You can bring in whatever you want to eat or drink and a lot of food is also available to buy on site.
We got to the beach pretty early. This gave us a serene and calm feel. However, I was disappointed by the actions of some vendors here. Its cool to make profits but to charge almost double the usual price for food items sold or asking your customers to leave a tent rudely isnt great for a business to practice. The visit to the beach was very much needed and it helped me prepare mentally for the new year.
A fantastic place to be with the family.Serene and classical beach offering world class recreational facilities and services.
Nice environment. Clean beach. Would love to go again!
Nice place. Went with a large group including children and it was really fun
Very Nice And Lots of food vendors and stores to buy any kind of drinks.
The beach has a new look...it gathers lots of crowd. I kinda feel its because the beach is not too far inside the Island!Well, generally the beach was looking good and I had fun! Wondered why I hadnt gone to the beach in ages. The beach has different segments and it allows you to pay for tables according to your pocket, I think the cheapest table there is #7,000 and this comes with u chairs, a table and an umbrella! And the highest i saw there was #40,000! So when you plan to go to the beach go with some monies so you can sit.And it has side attractions like horse riding, jangolova🙃, DJs etc!If you need a cool spot to hangout you should try it out!
Fun, lots of food. You would have to pay for a table but you can also bring your food and drinks in. Neat restroom for the ladies, it costs 100 naira to use. Mens bathroom stinks tho. Overall, the ambience is nice and not bad for a picnic
A fun area for family and friends... I had fun at Oniru
Had a nice time with my wife and friends. I last visited in 2019 and I noticed some improvements such as the expanded car park and the beach was very clean. I didn’t like how obtrusive some of the vendors were especially the horse riding vendors. They should be regulated.
A nice beach to hang out with friends or family.
The beach is great but Omo, if youre going ensure you have enough money for flexing.PS: Go with your own meal and drinks and possibly anything you know youd need especially cash. This is because youd have to for virtually anything you do there. Beware of conmen too whod come to lure you to do some free things. Its a sham, youd pay for everything.Anyways its so beautiful and the view is amazing. The fact its a private beach makes it so apt.
Oniru beach is one of the best place of relaxation in Lagos as it also host different merchandise like suya spot, horse ride, boat cruise, free music play and many more that makes ones stay a memorable one. However the wave speed and height is low compared to Elegushi beach as a result of safety measure of barricade on the water front.Enjoy your stay.
Very cool place. But very expensive 😉
Fairly ok, renovation in progress, neat & organized
Cool,but too many tout activities
Mild beach, the waves aint wild, they are gentle waves, can swim in the water, can surf, food ND drinks are not expensive, boat cruise with safety gears, big parking space, easily accessible on the island, not too far from the mainland.
Funfact: Waterside is my happy place so I relish every moment spent at the beach😍Tips to Enjoy this location•Set out early. That way, you are able to book a nice shade (close to the water if you’re like me🤪) before the crowd troop in.•Come with your food. The beach has no restriction on beach lovers coming in with their food so you can come in with yours.•Come with Sun screen. If you’ve got sensitive skin like me, you should come skin-protected.•Come with friends. If you’re looking for solitude or somewhere to meditate, this location might not be so cool for you even though it’s a private beach as we have lots of persons trooping in and music blasting from all corners. So come with friends to enjoy the whole experience or mingle while you are there if you’re that kind of person.Lastly, Just have fun.🥳Take a dip in the water. You’ll be alright🤣-Oceaneyes
It was cool... beautiful and bubbly
Oniru beach situated at Victoria Island is a lovely beach with nice wave. The gate fee into the beach is 1k per head but there is discount for groups at times. The beach cab be very crowed especially during festive period. There is barely anywhere to sit only if you want to rent chairs and tables. Some people go there with their mats or whatever you can use to sit. You can also get food there depending on the time you are going there. The beach is opened over night for people
Getting in was not smooth. The guys asking for money at the entrance were too many so, the process was rowdy. I think they shd have better systems and processes in place for payments.
Oniru beach is a nice place to go to but of recent I dont know.. the vendors are very funny, you get something for 5k theyll come back and tell you a higher price.. So if you have a budget planned it wont go right at that place..lol
Neat environment. Its well maintained. Endless music. Such a nice to unwind and enjoy the serenity of nature.
Such a nice place to relax and have fun... Very neat and well organized.
Awesome location, just over crowded
Awesome moment from time of arrival till departure
A place to relax, can go in with food and drinks. Moderate gate and parking fee. You can also get a space to sit and relax at moderate cost. Can be crowdy on weekends.
Nice place to hang out with family 👪
A hassle free beautiful beach.
Its a cool and nice place.
Exchange beach isnt there yet but I believe in great customer service which they have at the moment. Its only a matter of time before they make the headlines. Great place
Lovely place to chill for the weekend
The place should be called Extortionists ground. You pay for breathing air there. Make sure you have enough cash before going.A bottle of water went for 500 Naira. Thats so bizarre and annoying. The shoreside were unkept as at when I went there.Apart from the ocean view, nothing interests me there.
I must say the aesthetics is quite phenomenal, the ambience is one of serenity, if you love peace and quite, privacy and a great relaxation, try @moistbeachoniru
My kids and I had a beautiful experience
Good place with good security, but really expensive
Being there on a Sunday hit differently, the DJ was great, the extra effects like the boat cruise, games etc was fun!!! 1000 naira thats about 2 or 3 dollars, is the entrance fee, then 500naira for parking, and then youd pay 5000 to rent a bench, if you are there early, and you know how to price stuffs, you might end up paying 3k, then each extra effects comes with their own charges, ranging from 500 to 5000 naira, above all it was worth it!!! Dont forget, you can bring your own food, drinks, etc.... Was there to celebrate my 30th birthday 🎉
It was a good day at the beach. The fee was fair but theres now an extra charge for packing because the packing space has been interlocked. All in all, Id give a four star.
Cool view, and it a fun place with family and friends
Cool ambience. Electrified vibes all around. Worth every money spent on the beach front. Never a boring beach.
The beach experience was great. It was neat. Though bottled drinks were a bit pricey.
They have One of the cheapest gate fees.. Went with my friends at night, got there around 12am and their DJ was on fire 🔊🥰...
This is one of my favourite beaches. The best time to go is in the morning if you want a calm and quiet experience
Good place to have fun, mild waves, cool breeze etc. Option of horse rides or boat cruise. Its advisable to come with board games, foot or volley ball. You may have to rent a stand or pay a parking fee for your car. External food and drinks are allowed.
One of the top rated beaches in Lagos!!! It’s loaded with fun, from horse riding to the quad bikes, lots of grilled fishes/meat the night life at the oniru beach shouldn’t be missed
Its always crowded and theres never a dull moment. If youre cool with being around way too many people at the beach, then this place is for you.
A well lit environment with good ambiance for a nice family hangout.
It was aiit but the horses depressed me 🙂 #animalabuse at it’s finest. And no I have never & will never ride an animal that is visibly sick and not groomed 😷Super crowded!! But it’s a cheap get in.Landmark is better
Just to enlighten potential fun seekers who plan to go to Oniru Private Beach.1. Gate fee is 1000 naira2. Parking space is 500 naira3. Beach shades ranges from 5000 naira and above depending on your bargaining power.4. So many TOUTS who are middle men, they will sell a bottle of cheap wine for 15000 naira and only tell you the price after youve consumed it. Triple costs on whatever you need.5. Horse riding is from 2000 nairaIf you ask for manager or supervisor, it is a ranked TOUT that will show up.SUMMARY : totally disorganised, rowdy place where marijuana smoking is rampant. I would not recommend you take children there. It is far from the name private
Though i was visited in the middle of the night but Just like it was when I visited during the day, It was all bubbly and clean as usual
Ocean front hangout. Great for family picnic and reunions.Attractions include horse riding ,boat riding . You can also come up with your games to spice up your stay.
My experience was awesome till i witnessed live horse droppings at the shores.... quite bizarre.
The waves are subdued. The beach is calm and not rowdy. Several food options are available around the area. An ATM is close by ...and its right at Victoria Island.
A very nice place to relax wit ur family and love one
I went there on a Thursday and the beach wasnt crowded unlike weekends. We had so much fun and also road on a boat
All night beach with various outdoor areas to enjoy music, the beach, food and drinks.
A lovely place to go to for the weekend 🙌🏻Beach and vibes
Omoooooooooooooooooooooo X 1 billion. E be like say when I go this beach, we be like over 1 million persons inside. Too crowdy and choked up. Water dirty like gutter water. They should develop a technology to clean ocean water abeg. The canopies are often removing, especially those seaside. Aside from that, cool place. Pictures do not do any single justice to the crowd sha
