The Sharwarma seller in front of this Bar is the best on the mainland. The sports bar itself is a nice spot with affordable drinks. There is also a restaurant for dining in and take away with a nice menu. You can also get fresh smoothies from here.

Bad customer service (too slow) and the taste wasn’t great at all. Not to talk about the inflation of prices of all the foods and drinks.

Nice Pub in the heart of Mende Maryland. Where you can eat, booze and watch live matches. Hold small money sha cos them go charge you for Air condition. Not a bad place tho.

The Customer service was great... I also got to taste their Suya and Asun which turned out to be so tasty.

Easy to locate.

Food tastes nice, but flies are always hovering over the food in the place its served from. Been there 3 times, same thing. Today I just left without getting anything because of it.

Restaurant serves generic, but well prepared food. Had to eat it cold on this occasion though as they couldnt find fuel to run their generators and heat the food. Other than that Its a cosy little place with a chic lounge on the first floor.

Drinks are affordable. Good music. Nice place to unwind and watch football matches.

Nice place in Anthony just after Suya Spot, with great menu of local dishes. Theres a bar upstairs for after hours hangout with friends, prices in both places are not bad as well. Great environment in all.

Gidi Restaurant seems like a decent place to enjoy a meal during the day and hangout at night or during football evenings. Quality of food seems good and that is speaking to the moi-moi. Attention was paid to the décor and the environment is quite neat, I do hope this can be kept up as times goes on.

A restaurant and bar to relax and ease the days stress

Its really a very nice place to go in to have a good time. Warm reception to brighten your day while relaxing with well prepared sharwama, ice cream. The cost is very affordable. They have spacious car park with well mannered security personnel. Located close to suya spot should want to blend your drinks with suya. Night clubs holds here. Not sure of the details.

Gidi is situated in Mende on the major Sunmola road. It caters to several interests especially at night.It has a bar upstairs, which addresses a different interest especial on major football league days.Downstairs is the restaurant and has a good array of food, quite affordable and tasty.The sitting arrangement is good, cool atmosphere and friendly staff.Outside the building, there are fried yam/Ankara, grilled chicken, peppered goat meat popularly called asun, grilled beef popularly known as suya and shawarma.Somehow, there is something to get your interest at Gidi.

3 stars.If you live in Mende or Anthony, this is probably a place you want to hangout or visit otherwise you would want to explore some other options like Pub 1, Orchid Bistro and the likes in nearby GRA.I have wanted to eat in their restaurant but i have always think it’ll be no value for my money. This may be attributed to poor management or low patronage as the food is always dried and cold. I think they can do a better job.The bar to me, is up to the competition but you may as well not like some class of customers you’ll find there ( I hope you dig?). I like watching my favorite football team play here cos I live around this neighborhood- as at the time of this review. Drinks and affordable with great BBQ chicken, Suya, Sharwama to match, and even Habib yoghurt.Rest room is averagely ok (I don’t like public toilets).For the neighborhood, I think they are cool. But for competition with bars in nearby neighborhoods like GRA, they fall short.Cheers!!!!
