It is an outdoorsy, garden type restaurant. The way the flowers and shrubs are arranged, it offers some sort of sectioned off privacy. Its cute. Music crooned from speakers tucked away from sight. The waiter at the table was efficient and professional. The food: fiesta fried rice with goat meat.It looked, but didnt taste as good.
Service is quite slow, food taste good actually. The staff is very polite and nice, the toilet is aweful for the amount that they charge. However cocktails are very strong and tasty for the price plus the food is good.If you are looking to go on a date I would recommend this place to set the vibe. The art is beautiful!!!!!And the DJ plays good music.
Great ambience, artful space.outdoor bar with inner restaurant. Friendly staff. Quirky murals on walls. Hilarious signage also. Located on the same road as The Polo Club in Ikoyi, and housing the only Crepe shop in Lagos, I say this is a place to visit at least once to cool off after a long day at work. Id go back for a taste of their local delicacies.
The traffic bar is a gift that keeps on giving. After trying it in Lagos & Abuja I can confidently say that. Their drinks & meals are out of this world & very affordable. The Wazobia drink is by far the best banana-infused drink I’ve ever had. It’s so filling that I could mistake it for an appetizer instead of a drink.
Traffic bar and restaurant is a cool and affordable place to hang out with friends. They also sell tasty food. Usually host live Brandon Fridays. Quite affordable if you are working with budget.
This place is very cozy and intimate. I love how the sitting areas have been demarcated and labeled accordingly. You have Tinubu square that is very posh and sophisticated you have ikoyi that is bougie as well then you have surulere and ikeja that are very basic. The food is great, tastes good and plenty. Very nice place. Will recommend for friends family and general party outings. You’ll definitely enjoy it. I almost opened a tab! Lol
The environment has many photo angles and it has both outdoor and indoor sections. The bar is nice and the general setting of the location is nice. There are swings, and nice paintings around, it is a beautiful place to visit. It took a little time before my food was served but it was worth the wait at the end of the day, the pina colada had bitter taste at the end and when o complained the attendant said it was the pineapple that caused it. I can assure you that you will get the value for your money here and they have very nice hospitality! Suitable for dates, relaxation, and hang outs. I love the kind of music they play and they had space for parking.
Food took forever to come and they didnt have 80% of what was on the menu.Tasted just okay.
This place is very boogie..I honestly don’t know why it took me this long to try out this super chilled spot. There is a very colorful graffiti that welcomes you into the compound and a swing to your left just as you walk into the space. It’s a photographers delight. They have little avenues named after popular Lagos streets. It really is very cool.I proceeded to the bar with my partner and ordered a bottle of wine while we decided what to eat.He went with their fried yam and gizzard.I went with mashed potatoes only. I was gonna have from his gizzard. My mashed potatoes was brought with spiced warm milk and tasted alright. The Fried yam and sauce was divine ..The Gizzard wasn’t as tender as I’d have loved it..All in all, beautiful space , good food..I will definitely go again
Ambience great! Environment is quiet & chilled. Bar & restaurant are separate, although I went there with the hope of having crab but it was unavailable, the waiter was so respectful & quick although he wasn’t really familiar with the menu. The food was prepared so fast, affordable price. The restaurant is pretty with lovely paintings, the toilet isn’t that nice it should be renovated.
Lovely settings, good vibe and atmosphere. Live band makes it a unique experience.
I always liked the Traffic Bar in Abuja, the Lagos location is also as nice as the Abuja one. I liked the outdoor and indoor concepts. The outdoor area has a bar and very spacious it has street signs to mark different areas in the outdoor section. The service was fantastic. I enjoyed the authentic Nigerian food as well as the continental dishes. The traffic jam cocktail is a hit. Repeat visit definitely.
A cozy and warm environment. It has both indoor and outdoor sitting areas. Different section labelled with popular areas in Lagos. They also have a lot of green areas to feel up close with nature. Very serene and lovely place to hang out with friends and team bonding. By the way, the food was really delicious.
I go here basically for the crepes. The entrance looks messy most of the time. But the main restaurant is cool . The management need to do something about the first appearance of this restaurant
Will like to revisit here again
For a better experience, go there in the evening or at night. Day time experience might not be so great, depending on the weather.Lots of nice places to take pictures, ample parking space. Food was average, wasnt exactly wowed by it. Drinks were okay too.Be sure to visit with a friend. Else, who would help you with all the nice photos you definitely would want to take?😏
Oh my... The traffic bar is life. The ambience is beautiful. The different sections named after a place in Lagos is just wonderful. Now to the crux of the matter, THE FOOD. For the sake of other really great fish that I have tasted, I wont give it the title of the best but it was really really good. Well spiced. I mean the spice was not just on the outside but it entered every corner of the fish. I really loved it. The fish is not as long but its moderate. The chapman was nice and the Jollof rice was good, not as spiced as the fish but the fish made up for it. That fish is life o but it cost N6,500. The rice was a lot cheaper. I recommend that Fish 100%.Im not rating it a 5 because I think the parking is limited and also because of the restroom.
Nice bar with a great concept of the streets of LagosA very amazing restaurant but expensive meals
Lovely restaurant with amazing dishes and a very creative theme. The theme really resonates well with the menu. The meals arrive in due time and the staff are really friendly too. It’s definitely a getaway destination for individuals and groups of all kinds as there are really discrete spots with different names relating to different locations in Lagos at the restaurant. The entrance isn’t hard to miss as it has a massive traffic light at the gate that’s hard to miss.
Had a large group over at the traffic bar after work on a Friday evening and we were set up at the Ikoyi corner of the bar. Great outdoor ambience, well set up to accommodate our number (15 of us), fans strategically placed to ensure air movement. Charles was our waiter and he provided excellent service. We ordered some yam/potato fries along with some Gas and Tinko meat with grilled fish platters as starters and when we were done, our tanks were already more than half full! The fish was really nicely done.I should have been more adventurous with my order but I always gravitate towards pasta EVERY TIME! 😆. Had the Cesco Pasta but it didnt quite hit the mark with me....wasnt sure what it was...it had prawns in it with tiny chopped veggies...it was nice but I think I would have probably enjoyed another dish better. My team had a wonderful time. Great music that wasnt too intrusive played at the background and because we were secluded (sort of) in our spot, it felt like we had the whole place to ourselves.Would definitely come back. One thing though....this place is pricey so come with pocketfuls of coins!
This place is so amazing. The ambience is appealing and well thought out. Some of the options on their menu were not available though same were listed. The seating arrangement is intimate and their gas flared goat meat was quite tasty. Their staff were cordial. Needs improvement but still remains a great place to hang out.
Whenever Im in Ikoyi The Traffic Bar and Restaurants is my favourite place to chill.Their security level is topnotch and their services are the best Ive seen in Lagos.I also love how unique and healthy the environment looks with beautiful trees...
Its okay, the kitchen should try to be more efficient.
I had shrimp pasta and spicy pasta with white wine 🍷. I did my taste buds a huge favour 😍😍. There are lovely picture spots too. I love how they sectioned the restaurant with names of popular places in Lagos... 🤸♀️ Creative!
Its a place to be when you deserve a genuine fun , quality food and all round entertainment. I most enjoyed their live band performance. Amazing place indeed, I recommend it.
Service was top notch and fast, great ambiance and space,Their mexican rice was deliciousMeals are also affordable
Beautiful ambiance and peaceful environment. Designed like Lagos and its street sign posts. The food is delicious and tasty. You would love it, just expect a little delay while the make your meal. The flowers there wear jeans 😂. The price is fair enough.
Ive only taken their grilled catfish so far. And its really good. Ive had a friend take their pepper soup and also a positive review on that.
Huge portions, Lively alfresco dining. service was a tad too slow, but the food was good.
Always so good to go back their. The decor is just amazing. Food is great and affordable. Its picturesque
Very cool ambience and great food. Perfect for day or night hangouts. I really loved the props (they have quite a number and they are really cool). The grilled tiger prawns were too yummy and the pork ribs were amazing. Their menu is quite robust, so hey get ready to study the menu for like 30minutes before making up your mind 😂 . And oh yes, I had the “Jam Jam” special drink- made with 8 different shots of whiskey 👀.Will recommend this place over and over! Been here twice and I know I will keep coming back ❤️
The meal was fantastic here. The waitress was very friendly and courteous. I loved the goat meat, it was so tender, tasty and spicy. A great place to take lovely pictures too and its a great place to relax
Been here three times, first time was good (outside), second time was even better (inside)but the third was slightly disappointing. Inside was closed so we had to stay outside even though it rained and they did not have half the menu. The food we eventually ordered was good though so I guess their chef is still 👌
Really Really Really like the ambience and decor. Such a nice and relaxing atmosphere to hang out in either small or large groups. The waiters were also very attentive, I hope they maintain this standard. Traffic Bar Lagos is way nicer than the one in Abuja 😝
This place is amazing. The set up is super cool. A good place to unwind and relax. Had the opportunity to meet with the owner and trust me, he is someone with an electric brain. Thought provoking insights.
👉Traffic bar has a unique environment.👉Offers in and out sitting👉Tasty grills and pastries 😍👉Good cocktails
When you go to a restaurant, the ambience can be great, the decor wonderful and the service excellent but still, the food is the primary reason you are there.I was delighted to discover that Traffic Bar didnt neglect that most important aspect of a restaurant. To cut the story short, the food is excellent. Their cooks (or chef) sure know how to cook meat. I heartily recommend the white rice and goat meat stew.
If youre going to Traffic, save yourself the trouble and skip all the non Nigerian food. Ive had a variety of things here and only the Nigerian food bangs. Everything else is ehThey also appear to be understaffed so prepare to wait some time for everything (food, drinks, bill). Everything took forever to arriveFood is ₦₦₦, ranges from okay to great tasting and comes in small serving sizes.
Great ambience. Airy. Love the flowers and the swings. Number of cozy, private areas. Service on the Friday night i visited was slow as hell and inefficient. I hope my experience was a fluke. Finger food i ate was great though if you ignore the black disgusting yams chips and the staff seemed cordial. Like most spots in Lagos, parking is a nightmare.
This a very good and nice location but when rain water and flood may cover the whole place so it is very good for dry season
Well, when I got there I was confused on where the entrance was and if I was in the right place because there were no directions or staff in place. However, when I finally entered the restaurant I was amazed by the coziness and artistry. There are beautiful paintings and artworks on the walls inside and theres a graffiti wall outside thats really cute for pictures. I must say the decor is quite good. They also have designated locations in Lagos outside such as Surulere,Ikoyi, Festac etc. I really enjoyed my time with my friends there because we were the only ones in the restaurant which goes to say that its not a rowdy or overly popular place.Lastly, the food wasnt really great but its okay and the prices are fair.
The ambience is lovely but most of the food on their menu was not great! They really need to work on their menu!
It was great. Their goat meat peppersoup was delicious, really soft but their chips is a no no for me.
If you want to be expensive. make it worth it. 10700 for a cat fish that was supposedly grilled but doesnt seem so. more like boilt catfish and stew. really annoying. garnish your Chapman at least. 3400 for some so plain. way below par. not coming back
If you are looking for a cool place to chill with friends, grab a bite and have drinks; this is a good choice.
A cool spot with colourful and fun environment. The food was nice, though took a lil time. Ideal spot for lovers too.
Wonderful Avenue to go with your partner
Lovely decor. Lovely concept. You can tell a lot of thought went into creating the right vibe. The manager was also super nice. I loved the drinks menu as well.
This is a very cool place, the atmosphere is amazing, the food is mouthwatering and affordable, the interior of the restaurant is so inspiring, a lot of work was obviously put into the decor of the restaurant. Lovely place to hangout be it morning, afternoon or night for any age group and also take amazing pictures. Basically an amazing hangout spot.
One of my favourite places to hang out in Lagos. The atmosphere is very relaxed with friendly staff.
Me and mine had a good time. We went during work hours, so it wasn’t crowded. We had the whole place to ourselves. The food was affordable and tasty, the staff were helpful, special thanks to the guy that helped take us some pictures. I would have given a 5star but the milkshake was a letdown. Too much milk and sugar, we abandoned it. Too much is everything is bad, c’mon! Other than that, I recommend and will definitely be going back.😉👌
Very nice ambience and cool place to hangout
Good food. Courteous and fast service. Open air. Lovely place
Its a nice chilled place, good food, good drinks, great service
Looking for a quiet secluded place with terrific service and food then this is the place to be. Not to mention the lounges area which is one of its kind.
They can do better
Good spot, good food.
Love it. Simply awesome experience.
The food is great, the price is not worth the portion as it’s really on the high side. Wait time is too long, they need to improve on that.
Ambience is really greatThe setting is majorly outdoor seating. Theres a bar at the centre with a pavilion look.A lot of greenery makes the entire space give a different feelDefinitely a great place to hangout with friends or groups of people. The service is also quite decent.I recommend and will definitely visit again
Great food, lovely drinks and wine, multiple gardens labelled as famous locations across Lagos, outdoor and Indoor. Dont know what to eat ask for Marinara
I will recommend you try the grilled fish when you visit..
Nice ambience. Actually decent customer service. Go and take juve pictures, the sun is your friend!
Sunday band, great! Crowd very decent. I really like
Cool setting. Interesting design with the lasgidi view. Customer service is fair.
Great atmosphere, friendly and warm, try the chicken wings or fish; incredible live over the weekend
Lovely place. I love the music from the Dj, the catfish pepper soup 😋😋😋
The place is not as good as it used to be. The bar is much nicer to sit at during the day. You’ll get prompt service there.
Amazing hang out with or without live band. Food is on point
Very cool place. In Ikoyi
It was good. The pepper soup with fresh fish made it an amazing choice for the weekend relaxation.
I totally love the ambience and the service was on point. I was impressed when I discovered it was the manager that hosted us. She obliged us and recommend some of the wonderful dishes they had. I look forward to revisting. My friends and I had a blast.. Oh yeah, the cocktail I had, I enjoyed😋
My experience here was good. Went with a friend for food. Got peppered fish and sides. My friend wasn’t a fan of the Chapman but it’s not my drink to comment on. It’s good for lowkey and with a bunch of friends and is probably a great spot for people after work in ikoyi.
Beautiful space with that touch of yellow vibe. Also loved the picturesque spaces. To explore vicariously through me follow on IG: @djeenah_1 and Subscribe to my YouTube channel: Georgina Okakoso
Great place to relax. Cozy areas. The food falls within an average price range. Good food. Theres not very loud music, which is great for not having to shout during conversations. The parking space isnt so big. The customer service is okay.
Lovely ambience and great mural. We were at the Traffic bar in Maitama and I had sort of expected the same level of service. Wasnt so here. The waiters seemed overwhelmed. We left after we had been ignored for 10mins
Nice hideout.
Serene, chilled and ideal for small group hangouts.Just like other top Ikoyi bars, its quite pricy. Most drinks range between 2k to 40k.The environment is very calm. Theres just enough space to park, the music is good, and the waiters are professional.
Pretty good. Enjoyed myself
Lovely hang out place but the live band is a bit rusty
I love the concept behind the bar. The ambience is okay but it needs to be well maintained.
Nice and beautiful environment.I enjoyed myself with friends.
I loved the ambience. The waiters were courteous and the meal I had was scrumptious and affordable.
Great Ambience, Greatly managed space, lovely lightings for a beautiful night out.
Nice to unwind n do some stepping
Nice lounge inside Ikoyi with a Lagos traffic themed outdoor garden like setting. A good hangout spot.
