An open roof maximum detention centre. Must have about 20 - 40 inmates per room. Over 530 inmates, over 300 were on awaiting trial, about 22 inmates on death roll/ life sentence.

As the name implies its a prison area,and I dont like the fact that it is located right in d middle of a settlement.it has markets,shops and homes right in front and around it. The angry looking faces of the police (at their duty post) guardians the gate doesnt make it fee any cool.

Its a nice place to be. I enjoyed my stay in d hotel particularly in d night with fun

I was there to conduct free eye test as part of the effort to celebrate World Sight Day (WSD) 2019 for inmates.The staff of the Nigerian Corrections Service were awesome as they made the exercise very smooth for us.
