Mozambique hostel, OAU ile-ife was the first hostel I ever lived when I gained admission into this great school it was indeed an awesome experience, even though there were times that werent pleasant but the memories made were worthwhile, my fun roommates,my block mates and i made quite a fee friends too,as a fresher if you didnt stay in Moz as it is popularly called,youve missed,lol.

Mozambique hostel is also an emergency hostel like the Angola hostel; it was built also in the same year with Angola. It was formally known as an Emergency Hostel 2 and later given the name MOZAMBIQUE HOSTEL. The hostel maximum capacity is 1,722 legal occupants (students). Due to its security, the hostel has been dedicated to the 1st year female students. The hostel is also quiet and disciplined like the Angola hostel. Like other undergraduate halls, The entrance time for male and their visitors are 4pm – 10pm on working days (Monday – Friday) and 10am on weekends which are Saturday and Sunday. Visitors to the hall must be out of the hostel by 10pm

Not a student, but i have friends and sisters there. The hostel is actually way better than it was five years ago,with the right amount of people for the type of room. The only issue with the place (from people who are given accomodation there) is Scarcity of Water, which is almost everytime!

Its an hostel in OAU. Some of the blocks have tiled bathrooms especially the lower part popularly called lower moz while the upper part of the hall also called upper moz isnt tiled. The hostel is not the cleanest and most hygienic but its isnt the worst place to live either.The rooms are spacious and have wardrobes for upper bunk residents and cupboards for lower bunk residents.

Hall of Residence for New female students of Obafemi Awolowo University, directly opposite Angola Hall for New male students of the University. The open area outside the hall is known as Anglomoz.
