The Hostel is not so conducive for students

Nice and neat environment but no proper plumbing done to supply water to the toilets

Great, I do visit my students there once in a while, so I know whats going on in the hostel. The place is better now.

This has never met the standards of a renowned University hostel. Worst of it all is that its a female hostel. I cant imagine this is the best OAU can offer for their female students as shelter. Too poor; doesnt deserve anything at all

The hall of residence is now better than previous years as regards numbers of students in a room. Now 4 students in a room which makes the room more spacious.

The rooms are in disrepair, however it is currently better than it had previously been since it now houses 4 individuals per room.

One of the oldest female hostel in OAU, it has an ATM in front of it. Also one of the closest hostel to Academics.

Arguably the best female hostel in OAU, but I would advise people go for private hostels outside the campus, if they can afford them

Moremi Hall, a female hostel located just a few meters away from the Faculty of Science Building is named after an ancient heroine, Princess Moremi, who was once a ruler in Yorubaland. She portrayed exemplary leadership in the South Western Nigeria. Moremi Hostel is also quiet and disciplined like other hostels and also the hostel is strictly assigned to the female students and also the visitation time schedule is the same like other hostels

The government needs to help in the renovation of this hall,it deserves a better aesthetics

Compared to other halls of female residence, the great moremi hall is clearly not great.It is lacking a new paint job.Toilets are still terrible.However grim that may sound, it is hardly surprising as that is the state of most halls in OAU.But the ladies from moremi do know how to clean up well.You wouldnt believe they live under such conditions.The power of the Nigerian spirit.Suffering and smiling.
