Serene environment, high fence and a koisk beside the hostel with ease of access.

Trash @ gate not too nice though.Water doesnt flow upstairs @ all.

Students play music at ear deafening volume and roll up/smoke weed on the balcony just as they please,makes u wonder if there exists any rules and regulations in that vicinity. Ladies hardly rent a space there except the ones who have seen a lot in life.lol

Greenland Hostel is one of the privately run hostels catering to the accommodation needs of thousands of students living off the Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) campus and the Oduduwa University, Ipetumodu (OUI) campus. It is located off Ede Road and adjacent to MFM Church auditorium. This hostel follows after its name as it is painted in the color green. It is a two-storey building and has a single courtyard and about 100 rooms for students accommodation. It has just a single gate making security to be more controlled. There are motor bikes providing chauffeur services for the hundreds of residents in the hostel.

Better but too nice

Its okay for a student because its affordable and U can easily access the main road. D problems I have with it are lack of security guards, noise from co-tenants and its recurring power problems (bcos each block isnt on all the available power lines). The landlord just doesnt want to fix these issues. So we have a situation where the tenantscontribute money to fix power problems whenever it arises (on average once in 1-2 months) or just wait for it to resolve itself.

The hostel is located behind Lexican and alternate to Damico school, off Ede road, Ile Ife

Small room sizes not really okay for a student. Not secured. Student are exposed to dangerous activities of indigenes.
