Very lively place. Its a boy hostel containing interesting students.

The block is comparatively better than the neighbouring blocks with better accessibility to the school wi-fi even from the room. The hall was however renovated recently and much might have changed.

Awolowo Hall is remarkably the most populated hostel in Obafemi Awolowo University with a maximum capacity of 2,032 legal occupants (students). It was built in the year 1970. It was named Awolowo Hall in 1972/73. Chief Obafemi Awolowo, which this hall was named after, was a notable politician, philanthropist and icon in Nigeria. As an indication of honour, students in Awolowo Hall see themselves in the light of the legacies Chief Obafemi Awolowo left behind. It has motto as castle of great men and centre of union activities. The block host the headquarters of Red cross society, OAU branch
