Owode market is not working the way it used to be. The shops are old and people are not patronizing it appropriately. The constructions are getting dilapidated and the government is not looking at it.

Predominantly a local foodstuffs market. It lacks many conveniences. It is closed to Lagos/Ibadan Express Way. This is supposed to be an avenue to promote sales saves the lack of social amenities. Half of the market has been presently demolished leaving the second half of dilapidated shops. Hope the project will not be abandoned and that the present occupiers of the shops there will be taken into consideration during the allocation. God bless OYSG..

This is a market for the community not that modern but its being renovated by the government few months to come it will become modern market

Owode Academy market is situated along the Olomi-Olojuoro Road before the Lagos-Ibadan express bridge in that area. Goods that can be found include pepper, foodstuffs, meat, fish among others and it is mostly patronised by inhabitants of close by areas like oju school, oju odo etc.
