Home away from home kind of feeling

I would have requested for a minus 2 stars but for the friendly and courteous receptionist on duty when I visited to seek accommodation for 3 days.The three rooms of different standards I was showned were all smelling of cigarette mixed with room dampness odour.I had to find myself another hotel.

I love the set up and the location,just that the hotel still run on local bathroom styles,but stable light, clean environment with friendly workers

Though wouldve been a nice place cause of the convenient room space, the facilities are not well maintained and the customer service is not good.

It has that motel feel, but its neat and ok.

I had read some uncomplimentary reviews but thought they were exaggerating, I was wrong. Sporadic air-condition, fluctuating water supply, no light, generator down and visiting rats. One star is even too much.The only good thing is the staff are courteous and always apologizing for their I efficiencies. What ever your complain: we are sorry sir ,we understand, we do something about it.

The poorest hotel service Ive seen anywhere Ive been in this country so far. Rooms are quite old, mattress is really bad and uncomfortable, i mean how do you pay premium for a room without running water.Whatever you do, please dont visit this hotel, very poor staffing and management.

I didnt use the hotel. My organizations state office is just beside Metro Apartments and Google picked up my location as Metro. Apologies to Metro, this isnt meant to be a bad review. This isnt a review at all. Thanks for understanding.

The environment is not neat, the standard room is not neat, the bathroom is dirty, although, I think they have other rooms I heard are better like their executive rooms. The room I got obviously has the feel of somebody living in it with their property in there. Not visiting again!

Its in a good serene location but in need of serious update and upgrade.No standby generator, bedsheets are threadbare, rats running around the room at night, mosquitoes.

Well, its just a last resort. The receptionists are friendly but they lack basic things you need at a lodge like room service, water heater, until we left the bedsheets werent changed.

Wellllllllll.... Ive gone to better hotels. There are different prices for rooms here. I asked but got no concrete reason why the rooms were priced differently so I went for the cheapest at #6500.It was not terrible, at least there was electricity throughout as well as running water. Theres no place to eat at the hotel though and I found that really disturbing, couldnt even get water.All in all though, its not bad for the price

What can I say? They do have affordable rooms if you are on a very strict budget. But honestly, I didnt check out the rooms and didnt get beyond the reception. Once I was told that power supply could not be guaranteed at all times, I was out!

Its a low budget hotel, located in bodija with easy access. It can be noisy or rowdy at times especially weekends. Nothing special, just a place to sleep in and get out.

Peaceful and serene environment. Budget friendly hotel. Everything is fine apart from their staircase. It is really scary/creaks a lot when you climb it as its made of wood. But apart from that, it is a cool simple place

Its pathetic, its nothing to write home about.

They have a good costumer service and really nice rooms which are also really affordable. Also they seem to take interest in art as they boost their walls with picture gallery, 3D images and crafts. Back to their rooms, okay, they are big. Very big ones. A little eye at their bathroom and air conditioning system would be okay though as those two seem to be the bad egg among the good ones. Other than that, they are Excellent!

If you need a conducive hotel to check into, Metro Apartment is the best place to visit as it is situated in a serene environment.

Nothing works in this hotel. Horrible experience. Had to beg to get them do their job. The place has great potential though with good management

The service is poor. They have intercom but not functioning. The Airconditioners could not be powered by low capacity Generator. Guests have to demand for toiletries; I demanded but they promised to supply.

Metro is become really a bad place to spend the night with so many bad facilities, mosquitoes infested rooms, faulty ACs etc

This guys are the worst !!!!! Must have been there for 4/5 days. The rooms were never cleaned. They never brought new set of toiletries/sheets. And the entire management staff speak fluent “rude” as a second language.If they say Ibadan people are insultive, this place is an embodiment of that idea altogether.The only credit they get is the calmness of the area. Which has absolutely nothing to do with their day-to-day efforts.Purely worst.

For those of you that gave 5 star to this hotel and said some lovely things about, thanks to you for misleading people. Prison is better than ds place. The staff are not well paid under subcharge for any little error, how can u expect something better. No soap, toiletries. Water system not working. Generator is not On until 11pm

The annex rooms are poorly maintained

The worst hotel accommodation I ever slept! Horrible rooms, poor toilets and bathrooms, water from the bath leaking into some of the rooms. No constant light. If you need hot water to shower, you have to request for it to be boiled using electric kettle. I spent only 1 night and had to relocate to a better hotel. Never would I go there again, and I would not recommend it to anyone.

A few things are lacking. Bathroom doors missing, you cant regulate the fan speed because it is connected with the lights, so the fan goes off when the lights go off (there is air-conditioning though). Other than that, its a quite and secure environment and at least I didnt feel irritated or have the desire to leave immediately

Rebate and not giving. Everyday I literally have to beg the receptionist and the workers to put on my AC. Throughout the my stay at Metro my bed wasnt dressed. Tissue paper wasnt given. Soap wasnt given.
