Awesome place! I went here with my family to unwind from the Lagos stress, oh what a good decision that was. We took the 1 bedroom flatlet - family of 4,toddler kids. Food was surprisingly affordable, very tasty, and quite alot. I could barely finish my meals. Theres no room service, only downside for me. We took a tour of the forest, great experience. Definitely going back.

Its the place to be if youre looking for some peace and quiet. It has a good blend of nature and hospitality, plus the 9 hole golf course was awesome.

The residential lodge is 👌. A natural and serene environment. Fully secured. The rooms has good acoustics and the home feeling is surely guaranteed. All meals are fresh and from the IITA farm.For the price, would advise you dont lodge at the IH lodge....

A comfortable enough place with very dated interiors, furniture and appliances. Its a wonderful, green space in the midst of rapidly urbanizing Nigeria. Food was OK, inexpensive.

Good place. Do not expect the treatment of a professionally managed hotel. The rooms are simple and basic. The staff are not very professional but are polite and friendly.The menu at the restaurant is limited too.

Great place with beautiful pool and good customer service and affordable too. Had the most well prepared chicken and chips. Cool place to hangout with friends and family. Theres also a pool and play ground for kids and a nice long tennis court just nearby.

Good food and environment. Ultimately, you get good music while you eat.The staffs are respectful and very clean too. I love the tennis courts area too. Good green grass.The accommodation was also good, everything works unlike some hotels around the area.Ultimately very good place to be.

Customer Care services is extremely terrible.

Its in a very beautiful and natural environment. Plus, there are so many activities you can get into, like biking, playing tennis, swimming or just relaxing.

The service is actually not up to expectations and the management is charging service charge of 20% without prior communication. Let me say, my experience with them is not encouraging

This is my second time of been in the ihouse, I will say it a very lovely and beautiful place to be, it a home away from home where u meet different people, they have varieties of food, the rooms are very standard and convenient, I wish I can probably stay long but I will have to resume soon, but I bet u, u cant view the whole place in one visit, u will need to come often times

The I house is equipped with WiFi facility. There is power supply all the time. Water is available. The environment is green.

A place I love to visit all the time; A diplomatic zone... safety, you just need to visit yourself to see a balanced ecosystem...lake, hotel, farm settlement, recreation... uninterrupted power supply (they generate their own electricity)...if my lovely country Nigeria wants to compete favourably with the rest of world, IITA is a model or prototype to copy... amazingly its a research centre...what a beautiful place

The environment is serene but the rooms are old! I had a really draughty room and it had a damp smell. I also could not get to the town from this location as there were no cars for hire or taxis that plied the axis. The food was fair but not amazing. I only stayed 1 night... Mightve enjoyed camping out on the premises and more than staying in the rooms.

I have always returned to this place annually in the last 5 years. I love the green environment, great landscape and fresh farm food at the Cafeteria. Our children also love it. They safely ride their bikes on the property. Great place to be.

International House known by the short acronym Ihouse is the International Institute of Tropical Agriculture (IITA), hotel, located within the IITA campus, in Oyo road area of Ibadan. Services are offered to the general public. It boasts of facilities such as swimming pool, lawn tennis court and other recreational facilities. It is an ideal family get away location. The environment is serene, with an interesting sight seeing natural lake.

Ok. Lets be honest, this was a great experience. Last time I visited the establishment was about 4 years ago, so I expected standards to drop...not the case. I was quite impressed with the facilities. Unfortunately, booking for a room is still arduous and you can believe youve booked a room and get there to realise things werent done.Apart from that, the room was good, internet was good, walking to the lake was wonderful...just visit and youll understand why I will visit again.
