The hotel has 85% room for improvements which could easily STILL make it compete internationally. If money is pumped in and a strong visionary management put in place, it would experience RENAISSANCE OR REVIVAL OR REBIRTH. But as it is now, its not better than a glorified 1 star local hotel. Security, cleaning, maintenance, food, bedding, staff, daytime noise pollution, room facilities, entertainment etc. Everything spells UNDERMANAGEMENT.
Its a classy and luxurious hotel that has been in existence for a very long time.It has a Chinese restaurant, a gym, a bar, local restaurant,a hall for your parties and event/gathering, it also has a very big swimming pool with a depth of 2-12feet, it also have an elevator that will aid ones movement to the upper floor etc.Their staff are very friendly and polite. But the need renovation/maintenance just as I said it has been in existence for a very long time.
Its ok, the View from the top is massive, and for better privacy its not a bad choice, that I feel, but on the contrary the maintenance of some of the places inside the building needs serious audience.
Great Place and still a place to recon with. Just sad how the management made us feel its no longer existing. It also houses the KINGS 103.9 FM RADIO
Not a bad place to be....The swimming pool area still needs a huge facelift to meet up or even surpass the standard of some other hotels in Ibadan. The staffs will welcome you with a warm still as much as the they can.
Ambient environment, lovely rooms. Though hotel facilities need a facelift to meet modern standards
In a poor state. Lack of proper maintenance. Even doors where not properly secured. My advise. Dont go there. I couldnt spend another night there.
Nice place but they need to clean the pool water. It bringing lots of foam thats a sign of water decay
Went to the swimming pool area. It was okay but the pool needs some maintenance.
Dry on the Sunday noon I when, scanty to no customers at pool size. Eventually left without doing anything. This is has moved from a place of pleasure to a site seeing the location of the great works of the old western region of Nigeria led by Pa Awolowo. It needs a revamp and rebrand.
This place has seen better days in my opinion.
I had a nice time swimming
The environment is fantastic and serene however the rooms leave a lot to desire.
Beautiful Ancient structure that needs a modern touch especially in the interiors of the rooms
Lovely Scenery, helpful friendly staff and clean rooms.
The foremost hotel requires a face-lift please
Is an interesting place to go and relax.
Worst hotel ever. Smells like a clinic. Poor customer services. Rusty overpriced rooms. I wont recommend.
Nice ans serene environment.
Went to swim and it was okay! Although they need to set more swimming pool rules and new firm with it....like wearing the swim wears and ladies MUST cover thier hair with a swimming cap.Nice swimming pool but can become crowded so if u want to enjoy your swimming go early like from 9am.
It is a five star hotel on a highly popular area government secretariat and UCH.it is conspicuously view from its environment afar.
Nice but no proper maintenance.
Amazing Place, Great Ambience..Maintenance could be improved
The hotel is a place to visit. The rooms are big, it has a lovely environment for couples. The pool side is serene. The beautiful thing about the hotel is its location, on top of a mountain, making every view a great one.It is a place to visit for newly wedded couple. The restaurant is awesome.
I love this place especially the swimming facility there
Located at the hill top, massive structure with several facilities, big reception, large hall, 6 floors, swimming pool, elevator available with big rooms etc
On top of the city. Easy to access all Ibadan city
If you know what living on past glory means, Premier Hotel is the epitome. The staff were nice, but rooms I was originally given was appalling and ancient.I can’t believe I paid N22,500 for that.Place an order, it takes years to get to you, request for an extra towel or tissue, 2nd coming of Christ already happened before you get it.Imagine staying on the 4th floor only to find out on 3 occasions their elevator was malfunctioning. Had to walk down the stairs in heels. (Fine girl in the mud)The only other thing that was fair was the pool. Other than that, I absolutely won’t recommend.
The place has lost its glory, and in need of massive renovation. It is also overpriced for the services currently running in the facility
Serene environment with courteous staff. The atmosphere is welcoming.
Premier hotel is home away from home. The continental and intercontinental kitchen is second to none. The fitness section is just awesome and the swimming pool is just muah. There is arrangement for people with less mobility and the hotel is located on a hill where you can see Ibadan at a glance. What more are you then looking for? Choose Premier Hotels Ibadan on your next trip to the Brown Roof City.
A good hotel located in the heart of Ibadan..
Beautifully set on a hill in the city of ibadan. Enjoy wonderful view of the city from the restaurant.
Swimming pool is dirty and unhygienic. No smell of chlorine at all. But the surroundings were well kept.
A lovely place to lodge
Just need real time management
Nice place to chill and cruise
The hotel on the hill.its been around for quite awhile and they always keep up with the best hotel standard
Lovely staff and great location.
Not just an Hotel but a place where you can have a tourist view of Ibadan city.
Nice hotel, very big space too.
The hotel is located at the centre of town and on a high hill that has a beautiful landscape and view. Awesome environment, nice and cozy outlook, spacious parking space and their present layout is COVID-19 regulations compliant.
Though it shows its age, it is still an iconic place. Its vantage view of the city is arguably unparalled. It need some tune up to make it more attractive.
Beautiful hotel with all the luxuries of life you can think of
Premier Hotel is said to be one of the oldest and prestigious hotels in Nigeria. The location is catchy. However, it needs some innovation here and there to live up to its reputation.
A great place for events and lodgings with enough parking space.
Safe and secured!!
It needs serious upgrade.
They have a nice environment with a good swimming pool
Just normal. Its needs upgrading. The location is great.
It was so fun and okay
We had such a good time, the pool area was great.

Great hotel and event place. With enough parking space.
For one of the oldest hotels in West Africa, Premier hotel far surpasses all expectations. Premier hotel is located on the peak of Mokola hill in Ibadan, the capital of Oyo state, and the hotel is one of the best hotels Ive been to.The environment is aesthetically pleasing, the facilities are all in good conditions, good parking space among other things.
Its a nice place to chill out and refresh
Ancient and hilltop ambience.good chinese food and well ruged rooms with elegant set up

Its been aged but still strong
A premier hotel indeed.
It the home of comfort
It was lovely but it needs renovation
Mountain top experience.
It is indeed a place conducive for fellowship and relaxation.!!!
Old and still beautiful
Its just there. They really need to work on their facilities and upgrade to modern standard
Great place to relax...
Its a great experience spending the weekend there, their food is really good
An historical hotel with class. Top five best hotel in Ibadan. It was owned by the government of the western region of NigeriaIt has a good shallow and deep water swimming pool. Dishes are good but relatively expensive. Good accommodation and classical. It has good car park. It is located on top of a hill and this grants good scenery to Ibadan. It also has a good conference Hall which could be used to host events. There is generator and lifts to enter into the rooms situated upIt has good security and Mokola police stations is not far from it. It is often used to host top governments functions
The heritage of Western Nigeria
