This is a major junction along the Enugu - Makurdi expressway. Because of its strategic location, villagers have progressively converted it into a booming roadside commodity market, especially for fresh fruits and bread. However, travellers buying things here must be careful because, the hawkers usually hike the price of their items. They exploit the fact that the traveller may be in a haste or economically buoyant. My experience is that fruits are generally cheaper in Enugu which is a major city than this place. There are also three new filling stations at this junction. I am particularly impressed with one on them named NwaGod filling station where I have severally paid for fuel with my debit card using a POS machine. This is commendable because very few filling stations around this area offer that service.
