Garlic bread.... thats all I have to say. You cant go wrong here if you are lover of middle-eastern cuisine, with a fully packed menu choice would be your only enemy. Very great for family outing and office/meeting lunch/dinner but all this has to be enjoyed in an environment that has slowly turned gloomy to almost depressing. Brighten up the place.... please!!!!!
Very very spicy. Don recommend for anyone with stomach issues. Not healthy to serve food which is so spicy to that level. I think the restaurant is good but they need to take into account the health needs of their customers. Will never come back
Yummy meals, friendly staff. Love to go here.
Amazing food, great ambiance, convenient location and courteous set of staffs...and Wakkis Restaurant has them all. Had 4 meals in 2 days during November 2020. We had mutton biriyani, fish tikka, chicken curry, chicken tandoori, chicken reshmi kebab etc. their fresh orange juice is simply awesome. Improvement area? I think the toilets need to be a bit bigger.
Food is delicious, Staff are good and very good environment.
A typical village hut settings with sumptuous meals and drinks to gulp it down,a trial will surely convince you
Great customer service. Although Id like a lot more seasoning in my food, everything else was really nice. Id recommend 100%.
Youll love this place. Exterior design of this eatery will.make you want to eat more of the African dishes served there much more than your tummy could ever carry😜
My go to place anytime I want a mixed feel of Nigerian and Indian cuisine. I looooove the Balti Ghosti from Wakkis particularly from the other Indian places serving it in town. The taste is just amazing and will always leave you craving for more EVERYTIME😵😁 Be sure to try it with Garlic Nan the next time youre there😉
Located in a quiet environment (Wuse 2) Went there with a friend. They claim to be the number one Indian restaurant. Cant vouch for them on that because I didnt take any Indian meal that day. Took 🍟 fries with roasted chicken wings. Something Unique about the place is the natural bamboo like design. 🆒
Nice and really good bites here. Courteous and polite staff
This is the oldest indian restaurant in Abuja. Their customer service is great, the food portion is large but the prices are on the high side. The ambience and the interior design is so unique that you cant mistake it for another place. I personally do not like the concept and I feel like Im in a shrine. The wooden chairs and table are old and need replacement (my opinion). This place have the ground floor and upper floor. They fulfill customer orders on time. Their Ajwani Fissh Tikka with Steamed rice is great.
Always like to visit this place. Also good Indian food last 15 years
“Wakkis Foods” is one of the best restaurants in town when it comes to both local and international dishes, strategically situated in the heart of Abuja on Aminu Kano Crescent Wuse 2, this is where a lot of diplomats come to have their launch and dinner, their menus are so good and you will love to dine here if you have class when it comes to your food consumptions.
Having the appearance of nature. Every where looks simple and jungle-like. The meals are really nice
Awesome restaurant..The food is tasty and very affordable
Great place to have a meal. Lovely setting and friendly staff
Horrible pizza, zero taste and poor customer service! They changed my order without even informing me about it and had zero remorse!
Ive always enjoyed my time at Wakkis.Good food, excellent customer service and a unique environment
Its acc a nice place to eat with a cultural setting
Im a food lover and its a great place to eat
The staff were very welcoming. The meal was nice.
It was wonderful. The food was top notch, the service was impeccable and orderly and the ambience and interior were just wonderful. I would highly recommend for anything from a 2 person date to a 50 person party.
Wakkis is your best stop for Indian cuisine. I had this nan bread and lamb curry and the taste was so good I ate it all without taking a photo 😙. Then the chicken Biryani was awesome. You sure should check this place out if you love Indian food!! A good place to eat Indian food without spending so much
There food tasted so good💞
Great tasting meals in a friendly atmosphere
The scenery is beautiful. A bamboo looking interior. The chairs are not so comfortable for long use if you have a bad back. The Chapman was dope, very chilled. Food ranges from 2500 and above. A plate of rice is 3450. I didnt enjoy the food though. I found the curry rice a bit bland, just curry. I also had lamb shoulder with Nan bread, I loved the bread, absolutely loved the bread, I wished one of the dips that came with it had pepper, or the meat was spicier.I loved that tHe meat was tender. I dont think I would visit again though.
Nice indian food
Very Polite staff, Serene Environment and Very Very Good food.
Always a delightful experience at wakkisKeep it up!!! Cheers
Very tasty curry and courteous staff.
Nice Restaurant. More like an Indian food setting.Customer service is also top notch

Naan was great however the sauce tastes like stew, was not great. Chicken wings was good
The food was good but the bread was super
I am big fan of its indian food specially The Biryanis. The location & ambience also is very good. Try out if you are in Abuja

Fantastic Asian restaurant specifically for Indian taste. Service time is also fast, waiters behave nicely.Must visit when in abuja
Very very nice I want to come again and again
Eaten here since I was pretty young. I recommend this restaurant to anyone who likes any food of any sort because wow. I wish I could visit Wallid but, you know, lockdown.
It was as though I was surrounded by nature. Its so welcoming and i love their food.
Ok so I love the tastes and flavors but get ready for some consequences to the heat. The Lamb Nihari is wonderful considering that i spent the next two days in sweet blissful agony. Worth it
Great meals. Served fresh but not low budget.
Delicious Indian cuisine. Great place for family dining
Chicken wings here, superb.
Nice and cozy. With a touch of tradition
Very serene and affordable
Good Indian restaurant with seemingly good cuisine
One of the best place ..Restaurant with delicious India food. Beautiful ambience in Abuja, Nigeria, West Africa.
Excellent wait staff and very delicious dishes. Consider Wakkis our family restaurant and that Nan bread, to die for 👍🏾😘❤️😍😍😍🤩🤩🥳🥳
Good Northern Indian food and nice atmosphere. Reasonable pricing.
Nice food
Very very good welcome.they recognise their customer from 5 years. Food is excellent and rich. The taste did not change all through the years. Staff have grown older but made the food tastier and very mature aromatic.Good food and environment and it is really worth visiting.
Nice place amazing place to be with your family
Curry rice was really nice.
Consistent... Good service and quality.
Excellent food. They also gave my sister a special drink and played three songs for her, since it was her birthday.
