So I belong to this little group called the wealthy hikers we are adrenaline hyped people so we explore round Abuja.It was a hot Saturday we drove down to Mpape with my friends, we parked our cars at a great distance and climbed bikes it was fun and scary. Got to the hill and it was worth the sight so beautiful from the top.The only thing is that some people came and didn’t clean up after they left leaving the place a bit messy.This is a cool space for a photo shoot like it’s baffling that this place is in Abuja.We also had to tip some boys before climbing the hill I don’t know if We are the only ones who encountered this.

It’s a nice view but government needs to work on it to be known as a tourist site and take away touts from there.

This is a very beautiful place unfortunately people just do not know how to appreciate nature and respect it.Also I am not sure who is in charge but environmental bodies need to do better.Either put signs of not littering and also have bins around.Some people have picnics there and just leave everything there and it is not cleaned.Waste is dumped in the water tooo very sad please people going there in the future lets not leave our waste there make sure we clean up.

Cool place to relax

There’s so much air on the hills. It’s the best city view in Abuja.

Open rocks of 3 different levels. It has a still natural water. Good place to relax in groups for picnics. Free entry as the time of visit. Food and drinks and very affordable

Beautiful scenery and amazing view of the city. Not a difficult trail.

An ultra easy hike. This is more like an initiation hike for amateurs. This is a luxuriously leisurely climb. You could make yourself a picnic on this hike trail, its easy, safe and has a good view. The trail does pose a problem after rains as the rocks are made of very fine grains that slip easily.

It was my first, and I had fun all the way.
