An intriguing hike on so many counts.This is the favorite trail of so many in Abuja. what makes it so intriguing is the complexity of the trail. Starting out as a minor long trek through the north-western face of the Mpape Hills, the hike goes besides the foot of the mpape hills, descends and rises and descends and rises again only to descend and finally rise to what we call the mount zion. so named by pilgrims who use the summit of this beautiful hike as a place to seek meaning and purpose. This is definitely not for the fainthearted, and water is a must here. Im used to hiking without water but I found out the hard way that this trail requires water to complete successfully.
