A nice restaurant with affordable dishes, up on the second floor. They have indoor and outdoor seating spaces. Waiter was very polite and cheerful.I ordered their jerk chicken with french fries. The chicken was tasty and they were very generous with the fries.Definitely worth visiting. Try going in the morning. Its nice and quiet and youll have most of the place to yourself.

Delicious affordable breakfast. So filling for one person heavy on the portion and I love the presentation. Airy environment too. Sometimes the place gets overwhelmed with customers and that leads to slow service apart from that they are good. Breakfast is like $10

Only got to be seeing this restaurant online through Jumia food, didnt really know that it is just near me and one of the best in the city.You cannot eat anything here and have a second thought of not visiting again. With your guest or anyone, you are sure of a place to provide both breakfast, launch and dinner.You can both buy foods here or order them online and trust me, you will never regret eating here.

However when it gets very busy getting their attention is quite difficult.Food taste good, the portions are big enough and prices are mid range. Full English / American Breakfast cost around N4,500-N5,000. Main dishes around N3,000-4,000A lunch or dinner for two will cost around N10,000-N15,000I always visit here & will definitely recommend for very simple outings and/or breakfast.

It was really lovely, I loved the ambience and the staff were super polite, even though the service was slow. The insistence of Covid 19 protocol is annoying but necessary. One cant be too careful. Beautiful indoor and outdoor area. Boards(transparent) actually separate tables. Tasty meals, great drinks. Very nice apace and ambiance. Friendly and polite staff. Service was a bit slow and I guess it was because they had a lot of customers to attend to. I Had their Grilled Giwan Ruwa with spicy rice (and a glass of Chapman) and it was lovely while my friend had Bibi Mix Grill with spicy rice/ fried plantain and it was was heavenly and very filling!!! Portions match the price and people almost always have to take their food to go.Rooftop, nice ambience and a perfect spot to go on a date, lay back and have a beer while watching the match or even host a meeting.I did not spend up to n 5,000 and I had a drink, seafood sauce and side.Recommend

Great staff from the enterance, great ambience, a nice place to hang out with a partner or a group of friends, awesome view too and a totally nice location. I was there for breakfast and it was totally mindblowing. This is somewhere you should try out. I had the continental breakfast and my friend had the stir fry noodles. They gave me a complimentary glass of orange juice AND a cup of hot chocolate (which was creamy and delicious by the way). The food was 💯!!!! The portions were good and the prices are quite affordable. The waitress who served us was very helpful with her recommendations and helped us pick the best options. I would definitely recommend this to anyone.

The Charcoal Grill has really tasty dishes. Service can be slow which is very irksome but dishes sort of make up for it.They serve a bowl of fresh popcorn while you wait.The outdoor seating area overlooks one of Abuja’s busiest streets, while the internal space has two seating areas. One I prefer to see as a breakfast room.The Charcoal is good for families with kids too especially because of the choices of entertainment. No TV showing questionable music. With smaller kids though, space might be a challenge unless you’re seating outdoor.I’d recommend the grilled tilapia dishes first and then the lamb dishes. Those were my faves.

Charcoal grill. Oh my heaven. I am still thinking of words to describe this place.The meal here testes great. Despite the economy the quantity is great too, Especially, if you are 2 or 3. just order the platter. There is the option of 4 sides with one platter.I forgot to mention this is my 2nd visit.Everybody should visit charcoal grill.Then thank me another time....The only concern is the canopy used to cover the open area should be worked on.I love it here

Loved spending time at Charcoal. The waiters were excellent, the smoothies were superb and the food was awesome. The bathrooms were also really clean and the menu items were reasonably priced. The only downside, I think, is that the menu is not very varied and all the meats are frieddddd. An awesome experience nevertheless

An exquisite experience, Charcoal Grill is located at the heart of Abuja and provides a nice relaxation spot for those who love to hang out with friends at night, or simply love a cool spot for lunch with friends and family. The food is fresh and delicious and the drinks are exceptionally chilled. Once you go Charcoal Grill, there is no going back. What a wonderful experience.

I am editing my previous positive review of The Charcoal Grill. It makes absolutely no sense to be seated for 20 minutes without having anyone come over to take your order. After about 10 minutes we informed a staff we were waiting to have our orders taken. They were a no show. After 20 minutes we left with no one noticing our presence or even us leaving. If it takes more than 20 minutes to get noticed, then how long would it take to get served eventually? And to be fair to the staff I think Charcoal needs to employ more hands. The staff were all over the place attending to diners and this wasnt a packed house. I imagine what the case would be with a fully packed place.

It is a very beautiful restaurant with Dj during the weekends giving great music as you sample the meals.I enjoyed their grilled proteins and sauces, the fried rice was not spectacular.I loved the Mocktail drinks/shakes. They also have a delicious Samosa appetizer.

I recommend charcoal grill for dates. The roof top gives you the view of wuse 2 aminu kano.Recommendation for couples and first dates.Whenever youre there pls try out the shrimp sauce and white rice. Its 10k but totally worth it.

One of my favorite restaurants in Abuja.The prices are decent and the food is great!Friendly and efficient staff.On average, an order takes about 20 minutes to arrive. They used to serve free popcorn to guests on arrival, but they don’t seem to do that anymore.I recommend this place for a quiet meal (where you can have a decent conversation without having to yell).As for the food, I recommend the full English breakfast, the peppered Gizzard and the cocktails.NOTE: You have to climb about 3 flights of stairs, and there are no lifts or escalators/ wheelchair accessibility.

Nice ambience. You could either sit inside the restaurant or the outdoor area. I had the Jamaican Jerk Chicken and Fried Rice which was really tasty while my friend had the Fish in Potato with wedges. I found the prices to be affordable compared to some other restaurants I had been to. It was a wonderful dining experience and I will definitely visit again

This is my second time here. I liked my first experience but my second was mediocre. The first experience was good because of the nice waitress and a decent chef. This time, our waiter wasn’t too nice or attentive and the drinks were mediocre. I’m vegetarian, so I had the sweet potato burger. It tasted like the chef had just thrown random black pepper on it with a poorly melted slice of processed cheese. My fiancé had a sandwich which was mediocre. The only thing we liked were the fries because they tasted fresh. Please have good and consistent customer service and food.

This place has got great ambience. You can choose to be indoors or outside on the terrace. The terrace (my favourite spot) is got a great view of the city. They serve all kinds of tea and coffee flavours. I enjoyed the food here. My guest was impressed as well

The jollof rice was pretty bland. The fried rice was okay. The chicken was okay, couldve been better though. But the ambience was really nice. The waitress was nice and attentive. The cocktails were enjoyable even though mine didnt meet up to expectation (my charcoal special tasted more like just a banana and cream smoothie). Ill be visiting again, to try their breakfast options or one of their burgers.

Ive been here a number of times and each time is amazing. One of my favourite places in Abuja, so perfect in the evenings. The jerk chicken is divine with the baked potatoes. They also have some amazing smoothies and drinks here. Definitely try the gizzard if youre just feeling peckish.

We sat on a table that people had just left, the server didnt even clean it up after we sat down. We ordered and while waiting for the food to be prepared we saw a rat climbing the canopy outside and heading towards the kitchen side, which really put us off. The watermelon juice came warm and without any ice to cool it down and the jerk chicken was clearly microwaved before being served. Definitely wont be returning here.
