The ministry of Education is located on the 8th floor of the Right Wing of the Federal Secretariat Building. It is comprised of several offices and two Restrooms ; one for ladies and one for Gents. The environment is quiet , neat and very conducive. The staff of the ministry are very professional and dispense their duties in a very respectable manner.

There are only two functional elevators in the whole building so prepare to walk up and down a ton of stairs. If youre ever going here to get something done try your best to go with someone who knows the relevant processes because nothing is easy to find here.

Fairly okay but the FG still needs to improve on the maintenance of the infrastructure

This a very big office for authentication of certificates. The process takes you from ground floor to other floors for either signing or stamping. The lift in this place needs to be fixed for maximum functioning. It will also make sense if all the process involved in authentication or evaluation of certificates is done on same floor.

We met yesterday (17/3/21) and we spoke about we not going to see each other today (18/3/21)because my docs will be yesterday.We should see again....

Its just like the typical FG ministries. Nearly zero satisfaction. Waiting for the Lifts to start working like the second -coming of the son of man

Government Office. Could use better maintenance

A gigantic building in the Federal Secretariat, Abuja. It is always a busy ministry with people moving here and there. There are many verifications, certification that are done here. There are effective elevators in the building with so many parking areas. A lot of students also come around here, either for one program or another. Even people who intend to travel abroad usually have one activities or the other do at the Federal Ministry of Education.

Almost all federal ministries have their headquarters located here

An office, Located in Old Federal Secretariat, Area 1, Abuja

Fine structure but inside is so annoying that you can hardly find working tools in the office.Common photocopy machines can not be find in good working condition and yet millions of dollars are voted to this ministries.

Coordinates all the education system in Nigeria from Universal Basic Education to Tertiary Education. It houses the Office of the Minister, PermSec, Directors and other principal officers. It authenticates credentials from Nigerian schools and make it fit for use outside the country. It coordinates monitoring, evaluation and inspection of Nigerian education system. It manages the budget and funds of the educational system. It brings innovations and curriculum development. Process are usually not fast and there are long queues when its peak period for document authentication so there long waiting hours. When there is power outage, prepare to do some exercise using the staircase.

This is a conjugation of some Nigerian ministries, parastatals and agencies of government for easy and coordinated discharge of their responsibilities. It is a seat of power for the federal civil service of Nigeria. But people often come here without seeing the agencies they are looking for and neither get the required help as to which part of the town they are located. This should be addressed.

Chic exterior structure and interior design.Some offices are under equipped, despite the fact that its a federal administrative block.

This is the building that houses most of the ministries in Nigeria at the federal level, federal Secretariat is also responsible for bringing us the most cheapest medical services in Abuja. If not for this hospital alot of poor families wont survive the expenses of most of the hospitals (private) in Abuja

The lifts are not working at all, which is a shame for a building with so many floors. The staff in charge of educational documents authentication on the 8th floor are obnoxiously rude and condescending,and the process of authentication itself is irritating. Overall, not a good experience for me.
