Hmmm, yesterday I met with friends at the BMT African Garden.Is it a nice place ?? Yes But can they do better?? Absolutely.The pool was drained yesterday, they probably had their reasons.The Horses and the Rabbits I liked 😍😍.There are Lions, Hyenas, Jackals, Crocodile, and lots more.If I go there the next time and I see improvement I will give a 5 Star then

Sincerely, I and my kids enjoyed the few animals in the zoo.However, we were expecting to have a good experience at the pool bar only to be grossly disappointed. Food took more than 90mins to arrive. Quality of the meals were also poor.It was an experience I hope Ill never see at any restaurant again.

Its a nice place. Kids will love it. They just need to improve on the care given to the animals and ramp up their efforts on making the place clean.

They had a few animals and the spot was alright; some animals were wounded and others were sadly looking like they were grappling for food but overall, with kids, it was a fun experience.Also, other spots here were requesting additional payment: like at the playground.Not a good place for adults on their own but with kids intrigued by animals, why not?

I think the animal need more space but it was an over-all good experience especially for the kids. They had fun

Bamanga Tukur gardens and Zoo is an amazing place to visit with lots of activities for adults and kids. Theres also zoo accommodating a few animals which was fun to see. Theres a kids playground where kids could play thier hearts out. The place also holds a library for viewing things in history and an adult hangout area. Theres lots of things to do. Enjoyed my trip there.

A lovely place, well designed and organised. It has a mini zoo for animals, a swimming pool and other businesses on site. There was a capital hub party so hot you wont wont it to end.They have a library and a conference centre for events and indoor programmes.There is Kiki Bistro with local menu, nkowbi, palm wine, abasha etc.

One of Abujas well kept secrets. Its got a Zoo, football pitch, swimming pool, trees, amazing hangout spots. I stopped at KuikNosh cafe multiple times for their dishes...

Its a beautiful garden with pretty African fusion. Theres a play house for kids, different restaurants, library, pool, etc.

A nice little zoo with lionesses, monkeys, porcupines and crocodiles.Its not a lot but its better than nothing. And the fact that it is located in Wuse II, makes it convenient to make a quick dash and thrill the kids.

Its an amazing place. U need to take around the BMT Africa Garden. I visited the zoo, although not all the animals u can find there but d ones available are a sight to behold. I saw two young lions of 2 yrs old, crocodiles, hyena, monkeys, tortoise oF 80yrs old, porcupine, etc. Its an interesting area.

I especially liked the zoo. I saw a lion up close for the first time. It would be so much better if you can pay for the zoo, at the zoo. I dont get why you pay at seperate places. Overall, its a nice place and scenic too. You can take pretty pictures.

I had fun but a little bit disappointed, animals are not well treated. Except my two years liones , and my 80 years old tortoise 🐢

This place is amazing, even for kids.. Their zoo has so many animals, porcupine, Lion, emu, camel, baboon, crocodile and many more. Ill recommend this place to anyone.There is also a park inside, where kids can play on the swing, bouncy house, merry go round and lots more. It has many lovely spots to just chill and hang too

It is a beautiful garden which is quite hidden in Wuse 2. I enjoyed spending my evening there. There are swing seats where couples can sit, away from other faces.There is also a zoo and library there. The trees make the environment so peaceful. Even better is that it is not crowded.For food, there are small stalls that sell meals there. One can decide to just go there to enjoy the view.Not bad at all.

Not very sightly place but the kids will have fun, most especially with feeding the birds, the rabbits and the monkeys. Thats not to say that the zoo doesnt have the scary lions, the hyaenas, and the crocodiles, they do.

Its a nice place to relax and unwind., Theres also play ground for the kids and the night view of their pool side is awesome.

BMT is an ok place to go to with family members or hang out with friends due to the various activities from swimming, bars and train rides. But I am not feeling their zoo, and the train rides are hijacked by staff who profit off the price, making it hard for families to really enjoy the experience.

To be honest my experience was pretty bad. All the animals looked really sad and hungry the spaces of the cages were extremly small. It was also pretty expensive. The goats looked very very skinny, and the space for the lions was an insult.

It’s a large private park that’s very easy to miss in the heart of Wuse 2.It had good facilities that are still under development. The environment is nice and good for taking strolls and having a good conversation.They have a gym (not very well equipped), a library and a mini zoo. It’s a great venue for children’s party and outdoor entertainment.

Cute zoo in the heart of town Wuse 2 by the Swedish Embassy. Great spot for relaxation with fun stuff like library, museum, swimming pool, restaurants, and bars. It has a clinic and diagnostics centre.

I recently attended a get together session with some beloved sisters at the BMT African Garden. It was a lovely time out. You will need to pay for each chair and table needed aside paying for the desired space.

Great pool side. A relaxing spot. Nice food. Had roasted fish with fries. But bad management. It has a zoo and a large space for occasion bt poor maintenance.

Updates for the Zoo : Pricing Adults : #1000 , Child : #500. Decided to get that out of the way first because a lot of people assumed it was a 500 naira base fare. Okay so the entirety of the garden is amazing, its got various spots and new ones are popping up. Youd want to do a full tour first when you get here, say see the animals at the zoo, then splash in the pool and after, grab something to eat from the different restaurants around. Its got a library at the location and a clinic too. Its a fun place for all ages.

Didnt come early enough to see the zoo. service was not too bad but can be made much better. Was at the pool side bar and it was a but slow. Not too clean and not much options for food and drinks. A nice place to come hang out but not much to do in the evenings.

Wonderful experience

Sincerely I was highly disappointed at the staff of this place. Had an event here and you had to practically beg the staff before they did anything. Chairs and tables looking dirty. Toilets were bad. Lighting a big problem. For the kind of place, I expected more. The 2 star is because of the Manager that later came back and took charge of the situation. He saved the day.

The BMT garden is a Private park/garden situate right in the heart of Abuja city center.It is set on large grounds with an indoor zoo, a gym and an event hall. It’s great for parties and picnics. It has a lot of potential and I can’t wait to see what the management comes up with.There was an event on this very hot and extremely hot and sunny day so, please excuse the quality of photos.There is security on the premises and adequate Parking.

Though it wasnt all lively during the afternoon.. But I enjoyed the view. There were lots of painting, drawings and moulded arts.. its was a cool serene environment for me that afternoon.

Youre sure to have a nice time when you take a trip to the bar & restaurant to grab a quick bite or a drink, or take a swim in the pool section with sizes for everyone, you can even take a stroll around the zoo, yes there is also a dedicated ZOO section at the BMT African garden as well. Truly never a dull moment

I would give this no star at all if possible.This is basically an animal prison. The animals all looked skinny, dejected, poorly cared-for and underfed. They were kept in very tiny cages in conditions very far from their natural habitats. It had other features like a swimming pool and a poolside bar though(for anyone interested)
