Located in a serene part of Wuye, Highgate is a twin phase residential development comprising of 124 apartments with studio, one bedroom and two bedroom units.Facilities available to residents include gym, large scale chess board, supermarket, outdoor courts. I was impressed observing security personnel routinely monitor the perimeter of the estate on foot patrol as well as via close circuit television monitor. The security personnel were polite, professional and helpful. Each residence is fitted with an intercomm phone for ease of communicarion with the security team whivh you can reach by dialling 101.One downside to staying here is you need to plan your journey and arrange transport at least 30 minutes ahead (cab hailing services are at least 10-20 mins to this location) to avoid being disappointed about arrival times. I decided this was not enough to downgrade the stars by one ⭐ considering how I enjoyed staying there. An option would be to get a standby cab driver who will pick you on schedule.The other downside is electricity not being 24/7 as the backup generators come on only between 7am to 7pm though while I was there, grid power supply was on throughout.Reception for telco services - MTN, Airtel & Etisalat (voice & data) was decent within and around the estate the at least 90% of the time.Considering the distance from city centre, the presence of the cornershop within the estate is a real blessing.If you are short letting, ensure you ask for Wi-Fi, if you are renting, youll enjoy your stay, if you are investing, it will be worth every kobo spent.

4stars because the room is small, other than that, its new, cleaned frequently, spacious compound, nice view, modern style, the security guards are courteous, theres intercom system, constant water, good power supply, generator comes on as soon as power goes off, the estate management is ok, you can easily report any issue about your apartment. Havent had any major issue though

They made the best use of space when building this apartment..Good finishing both in and out and the location is also good because you can access Central Area,Wuse,Utako/Jabi easily..

Its a very beautiful and clean place with a tight security

Tall buildings with beautiful large windows.Quiet enviroment well suited for the upper and upwardly-going middle class.The initial hiccups with light and water are resolved. There is now constant water supply and backup generator for the occasional light outage.Recreational areas are still being constructed.Some of the finishings could be better - floor tiles and toilet fittings.Definitely recommended for residence.
