Lovely ambience. Attentive, responsive staff.The VIP rooms are lovely for private dining although I did not check them all out.I could perceive the cigarette smell from the smoking section which was a turnoff for me.The sweet and sour pork was a delight. The noodles too salty.The prawn rolls was an absolute delight. I would say same of the corn soup.Overall, it was not bad but I think it is a bit too pricey for the experince.

Silk Road is arguably the largest Chinese restaurant in Abuja, with an equally long menu. From meat to seafood to vegetarian, and rice to pasta dishes, there is a wide range to cater for different palates.From the sweet to the peppery, each dish type offers a variety so that you get something for people who are a diverse group.I really enjoyed the sweet dishes like the sweet fried beef which sed to have been fried in its own fat, as well as the spicy and hot peppery dishes like some of the seafood dishesThe portions are large and the dishes are really tasty, served hot and the veggies retain freshness and taste whether blanched or friedSilk Road has large public dining areas as well as private dining rooms. Private dining rooms have karaoke machines which are free for diners until about 10pm. The range of music isn’t very wide but it does add to the funService was the major drawback and persisted right up to billing which added a out 30 minutes to our departure time.Prices are fair for the taste and portion sizes. And Silk Road is a great place for families with children as well

I liked Silk road. The sweet and spicy sauce was delicious. The rice noodle was great. I didnt love the mutton and noodle with mixed meet though. I loved the service, the food arrived on time, and our host, Agnes was a joy.

In recent times(I mean the past 5 years) I havent seen any restaurant with a 5star reception and service delivery like I found Silk Road restaurant. Its on the fifth floor of Sinoki House at central business District Abuja, superbly neat and fast elevator, impeccably neat environment, the waiters are well trained on how to wait and the delivery of order was so fast.

It’s a very exquisite Chinese owned restaurant. The food is fantastic, but you want to request for extra pepper as a Nigerian; otherwise, you’re good to go. I had the prawn 🍤 in chili sauce 🌶 with the Thai fried rice 🍚 and the chicken in chili sauce too. With a glass of Chapman to wash it down.Very warm and receptive staffs. Ample parking space. Lovely, I would say.

Silk Road is all-round classy. Beautiful interior, amazing food taste, well trained staffs and all. I’ll add pictures of our meal -I had Singapore fried noodles, I can’t remember the name of what my husband had but they were both amazing! We had fresh juices too. The only thing that bothered me a little was their price though but good experience overall.

I enjoyed the food here. Also the view of Abuja at night from the window seat added to the relaxing ambiance.

This place is awesome!!!!!!....The VIP rooms, the amazing food, the ambience, the lighting...just everything. Its perfect for a romantic date, a birthday party, a high class business meeting, a group dinner etc. Just name it. The staff is great a d unlike what most people may think, the cost of food is reasonable too. I recommend here.

Service was fast. Staff friendly and helpful. Theres entertainment for toddlers but you have to pay. It is affordable though. Overall it is a nice place though it doesnt come cheap.

Silk route is lovely Chinese restaurant in the heart of Abuja business district.Its serves some of the best Chinese cuisine one can get around town, Im definitely recommending Silk route for Abuja peeps and visitors whenever you want to have a great Chinese meal

Chinese restaurant at the top floor of the Ministry of Transportation. Theres the general dining area and private dining rooms if you want some privacy.I had the special fried rice and chicken sauce with green peppers and wine. Id recommend it if youre not looking to do something too spicy. Tasted like normal rice and sauce to me.Its a decent restaurant however, for the price they charge I expected a more professional service from the staff. Id recommend it for a group meal or private dinner. If you want value for money, Id honestly suggest some other Chinese restaurant.

The staff are friendly, the food arrived quickly and the music selection was great. If you want good Chinese food in Abuja, this is where Id recommend. The portions are also quite large and can be shared. The restaurant is fit for both dates and dinner parties.

Its bigger than I expected. There are several dining rooms for private parties. The staff are very courteous and the food is nice.

Good place to be, delicious meals, complete Chinese experience and cosy environment. But Maintenance culture should improve. Toilets in such place shouldnt smell. Standby staff should be there always cleaning, air freshener etc. One or two improvements, Change serving dishes that are broken at the tip and youll have 5 stars

This is all purpose restaurant. Having dinner with a friend, family lunch, colleagues get together, dinner date, you name it; this is the place to be. The ambience, warmth of service and most importantly the cuisine will leave you wanting for more.

I think this restaurant is overrated. The food is bland and below basic. The restaurant lacks organization and the staff appear aloof. I can say the only pleasant aspect of this restaurant is the fact that they have great furniture arrangement and private dining rooms for private dining. But what use is all that when you can’t enjoy a descent tasty meal. Can’t recommend this place to anyone.

1st time I visited there with some friends, the service was awesome. Apparently because the owners were around.Fast forward to today, I decided to go with my family, called in the morning to book a private room and on getting there at the appointed time at 4pm March 31st, 2021, the gentleman who recieved us wasnt welcoming and then Ruth came to take over and informed us that we werent booked. We decided to sit at the general area and they all appeared very unhappy and unpleasant. .We decided to leave, not encouraged to eat in such environment because of their attitude. Quality of service is very important to us.I hope the management improves by training their workers.Well, we are now enjoying our dinner at Chopsticks 😊😊😊

The best place ive visited so far.

Very over priced and very average food. Some served warm instead of hot, some tasteless and not authentic. More of a Hong Kong style that Mainland Chinese. Staff indifferent (except manager).Hard to believe, but they dont stock soda water/mineral water or no-sugar sodas like Coke Zero. Chinese tea tasted stale.The restaurant itself is stylish, and clean. A bit like a mid-priced restaurant in the PRC.To be honest it was like eating in a British suburban Chinese. Would not return.

I had an awe experience in the place.The staff how they were very receptive and helpful, the ambience and the decoration.Oh and the food was amazing.However I had a problem with flies and mosquitoes flying over my food. It was very uncomfortable using one hand to chase them while eating with the other hand.This is not nice for such an upscale and expensive restaurant like this.Itll be a while before I come back.
