📍 Traffic Bar Restaurant-IG @thetrafficbar⠀The mark of a good restaurant is not necessarily its size but the quality of the food and the generosity of its staff. The location of the restaurant makes it promising, the owners were at least wise in this regard. I don’t think one needs a reservation to eat, the neighborhood was calm and the parking space was well thought. The restaurant has both indoor (clean interior and good air conditioning) and outdoor( clean, quiet and calm, simple decor). The restroom though small but clean. The waitstaff had an idea of the menu and was incredibly kind and accommodating. ⠀Our order;⠀• Mexican rice=1500⠀• Yam porridge= 2500 ⠀• peppered goat meat=3000⠀• Rock shandy=2000 (made up of sprite and soda water mix topped with angostura bitters) ⠀• Malta Guinness= 700.⠀⠀💳 ⠀10,567.60(including VAT)The menu was well priced and its budget friendly. Took 40 minutes for our food to arrive. The Mexican rice was messy in appearance as shown in the picture. The Mexican rice was in fact just rice with carrots etc as decoration. No special sauce/ distinguishing features to be found. I will take the blame for disappointment as it’s ordinariness, what I will not take blame for however is the Mexican rice and peppered goat meat was cold,the rice was hard. This I can’t recommend. ⠀Humorously, the porridge was perhaps the most honest and straightforward dish of the entire meal. The porridge was cut in small bits and soft, the porridge was well spiced.Rock shandy has a cool taste but if you’re not a soda person I recommend you choose another. 📸: @cheta_okoli

DinnerNice environment, the waiter was quite polite. I ordered strawberry daiquiri and honey wings with a side of coleslaw and rice. My meal took a while to arrive, my drink had already started melting.My meal was quite filling and a lot not I enjoyed it. The tomato that was used as a side to looked spoilt, and they basically still served my meal with it. Their menu booklets looked really old, they should do better. There isnt much parking space, I had to tip a certain security man so he could let me park in front of the gate he was in charge of.

Amazing.Loved my smoothies always.Enjoyed my time here. Loved the concept of making each session of the bar have street names.So amazing. Had peppered beef here with cocktails. Great service. Courteous staff. Kitchen could be seen from outside. I think that rose my confidence in the place. Security did help park the car. I thought that was nice too. The bar is in a coded environment. Was very hard navigating.

Traffic is a great restaurant with tasty meals but the problem is the wait time, you will have to wait until you lose appetite and ask for takeaway.

This is a good chill out spot for meals especially at night. Waiting time is okay and the pricing is good. The meals are also tasty. Only drawback is loud music @ night. Cool during daylight.

I had always heard about traffic bar but never been there. So parking might be a problem for crowd. I didnt like the fact I had to walk 3 flights of stairs before getting to the bar.the staff was not so friendly at first but later on she smiled lol. I ordered the spring rolls, fried yam and chicken. Very worth it. Very tasty and well made.

One of the contemporary lounges on one of the busiest streets in Abuja -Gana Street.Heavily populated, I reckon people are trying to catch up on days they missed due to the pandemic of 2020. 😜😜

It was a home run with the team, spiced up by the DJ. Calories got burnt and friendships were forged. 😎🕺

Nice ambience and friendly staff. Also Got takeaway from them, parking space however is limited so you’d have to tip someone to find space for you, oh and the portion is small.

Nice ambience with great music. DJ had an amazing throwback playlist (Hip hop and R&B).Had grilled tilapia with chips which was well seasoned. Fish was rather small in size for the price point (6500 or so). Didn’t like the accompanying tomato sauce though.Too bad I forgot to take photos!

The management are or doing a good job workers are not being paid,and is wack he played same play list everyday,they have just 2 or 3 staffs services is poor , the place is not the same.again.

Nice place. If you are looking for a place to enjoy good music, relax and nice food - you should try traffic.It is not entirely classic but a superb place with upbeat music. You can get your fix here for people looking for where to meet people and take shisha.Just make sure you spell your order clearly so that they won’t make mistake😃. But overall, it is a nice place.

A Very lively place to be.

The best thing about Traffic was the DJ... He did a good job of mixing oldies and the newbies and got everyone dancing for hours. The service could be better tho took almost an hour for our food to be ready. DJ kept us grooving nevertheless.

Had a fantastic time here.... very nice....well secured....food is rily pricey but considering the location its understandable..We had fried yam,chips,crocker fish and asun....order took bout 40mins so dnt go there ur rily hungry and looking for fast food....The dj ws on point.....great music selection....will def be back for more

Lovely concept. The bartenders remind me of Lagos traffic wardens. Its got a see-through kitchen which churns out a wide variety of local and continental dishes. Friendly advice... Ensure your pocket is a bit chubby before you look at the menu prices 😁

Traffic Bar is a very cool lounge with a good third story view of the surrounding neighborhood. Plenty of room with comfy seats and good music. The beers are a little more expensive than usual though, and the service was a bit off, as though they were too busy to take care of me, and it was 4 PM on a Friday afternoon and there were about ten other people in the place. Food looked and smelled good. Its clean, and easy to find.
