One of the worst experiences I have ever encountered in my life, improvements need to be made to this establishment, for its survival. Majority of negative reviews state that the customer service is poor and this is due to poor management. Whoever manages this establishment is lousy & is only concerned about profits. One issue I had is the customer service number attached to the facility doesn’t work or it’s sometimes switched off. Another issue is the hot food counter was not only missing some dishes but looked messy. It would be helpful to create a website where customers could order what they want and have it delivered or come to the restaurant to pick up. If that can’t be done, you place a menu board indicating various dishes available with costs attached. Additionally, I asked the lady in charge of collecting payment & she said that delivery isn’t available, in this day and age such businesses should offer delivery services, this would reduce the crowd in the restaurant and help stop the spread of COVID-19 disease. Also, customers who order food in the restaurant are given a number and are to look at the front board/screen for that number, indicating when the food is ready but in my case as well as many others our number didn’t appear on the board & we had to wait for some minutes or hours & when it wasn’t shown, we walked up with our numbers and were given our food. So what is the point of having the board if it won’t display customers numbers when there food is ready?, if it is faulty, why not get it fixed so customers don’t have to wait hours, thinking their number will appear. Furthermore, I ordered chicken shawarma with cheese & small pepper, grilled chicken and moi-moi. Not only was my shawarma slightly burnt, it also tasted awful, like it was about to go bad, it seems like it was pre-made & popped into the microwave then served, the moi-moi wasn’t bad but had bone in it, the only food I enjoyed was the grilled chicken. The only good thing this establishment seems to be doing well is obeying COVID-19 protocols, all customers and employees were expected to social distance and wear face masks. With all that’s been stated, I won’t be revisiting, until improvements are made & failure to read through negative reviews and make the necessary improvements could result in the downfall of this business in the near future.

Nice shawarma but very poor customer service

Order shawarma some week ago because I was not with face mask I couldnt pick it that not good. And the couldnt bring the shawarma for me out to pay and go. And am a first time customer that noe encouraging

They serve the best shawarma in the city of Abuja but their customer service is trash. The sales girls are rude. I was actually told that there wasn’t parking space in the premise but the car behind me got a spot. Anyways, since I love their shawarma, I have resigned myself to fate.

Their shawarma is good and one of the best but their time management is the worst. The worst youll ever encounter, like!! You can wait for over an hour for a piece of shawarma and it has been like that for years. Sometimes less than 10 people will be at that place but youll still wait for a minimum of 45 mins. Before you go there just make sure that youve nothing else to do. Their shawarma is no fast food, its like making amala or pounded yam, youll wait forever.Fix up chicken capitol!!

The shawarma is nice however the staff attitude to customers and also the time management needs to be reviewed.. however the maangement are quite responsive to criticism as they listen when your complain and have a complaint number there posted. However because Nigerians dont complain generally and just accept service as they see it doubt if they are much aware of the staff shortcomings..

Until Im proven wrong, this place has the best Shawarma in Abuja.The staff need to work on their attitude though as it seems they all have a chip on their shoulder, acting they are doing the patrons a favour.

Neat environment they observe Covid rules, orders are placed in an orderly manner and received swiftly, secondly Thier Shawarma tastes so yummy and creamy served with or without Garlic preference matters

I had never heard of Chicken Capitol till me friend was eating and i asked to try some and when i tell you i was shook. They are really good and the shawarma is very full.

I accompanied a friend to get some shawarma here. I love that upon entry, there’s a lot of organization. Parking is very arranged but might require patience if the parking lot is filled to capacity.Use of masks are still mandatory here and the security men continuously make sanitizers available for customers to use while entering and exiting.I recommend calling ahead to order so there’s less waiting time during pickup but if you’re buying shawarma in person, there’s likely to be (moving) queue. Social distancing is also implemented so it’s best you comply.On a good day, you’ll get your order 15-20 after you get a ticket.

A more improved and dedicated customer services personnel will make a huge difference on service delivery to customers; particularly to Jumia pick up staffs

Used to be the Best shawarma plug in abuja, but now I cant say same. The staffs are rude and uncouth and I blame the management for this.Take shawarma out of the menu and nobody would visit chicken capitol anymore 👎🏽

My one and only experience in this place called chicken capitol is one of total disregard for customers. Their phone lines do not connect and no one answers the one that does. I have complaints but the supervisors hide behind the office and claim too busy for customers.

The Shawarma tastes great. But they need to get more than one phone line for orders. I kept trying the line for close to 30 minutes and it was clogged perhaps because a lot of people were calling at the same time.

They have the Best shawarma you can ever think of.Even though I would not have had it in years, its the first shawarma spot that comes to my mind.It comes in sizes (small, medium and large)and varieties too (sausage, chicken, chicken and sausage),And even spices too (garlic and pepper ), And cheese too.I havent tried their other meals but I would sometime.I can not say their meals are ok. They do not look as good as I would want to eat them.

Service is okay but you get better service when you order via JumiaFoods. The wait time is long, environment is okay, ordering is easy, theres a TV for distraction while you wait but again, order via JumiaFoods especially if you want a complimentary soda drink.Large size shawarma is enough for two. Its also affordable.

Where you get the best Sharwama in Abuja. This is my own opinion. The sharwama comes in small, medium and large sizes. There’s an option for garlic and extra pepper, so if you like your sharwama spicy then you have options to go for. Oh, also the sharwama comes in chicken or a combo of chicken and sausages. The choice are up to you.

It’s a fast food in wuse 2. They have about 2 more branches in Abuja.Rumor has it that they serve one of the best shawarma in Abuja. I’ve had their shawarma several times and that rumor seems legit.Their price is friendly and you can find a meal there for as low as 300 Naira.Don’t mind me in all the pics. That’s the most peaceful way to get a good pic of some spots in Abuja.

Serious lack of integrity. They had an order to make 30 shawarma wraps and took my order all the same. Asked me to come over in 20 minutes. Made me sit for an extra 30...and that was when I asked what was going on and was told the truth. I had to yell like a mad woman before they finally attended to me. Asked for a refund and they wouldnt give it...they finally came out with mine. 1hour 20 minutes of trauma.

For the second time in a row they have messed up my shawarma order in here. So you may want to be up in their face when u visit.They have a toilet facility which is quite basic and tidy. Hence the 4 star.

Their shawarma is the best in Abuja for now. Mad combo with cheese garlic and pepper. Not sure about the other food items they sell but their shawarma is the bomb.

The Covid-19 compliance in this place is superb! Theyve thought of all the excuses and countered them. You literally cannot eat anything inside the space. This is a review update. Chicken Capitol used to be just ok. Its getting terrible. My shawarma had spoilt chicken in it. Whoever prepared it must have known the chicken was bad but the terrible person still made the sharwama and handed it to a customer! What is wrong with this people? I couldnt even return to the place cause I already know they have condescending staff.

This rice and beans with chicken cost N500 only. Whenever is request for refueled , you will br charged N500 only. Though most customers do not know what refuel is. You can get fried rice, jallof rice, all with chicken at that same price of N500

The wait time is unbelievably long. I pictured that they went into the bush to catch the chicken and prepare it while I waited. Theres no other way the service wouldve taken that long.The shawarma was really nice and garlicky but the wait took away from the marginal utility.

Told me they had no chicken. that only sausage shawarma was available 😂😂😂. Just imagine and they cal themself chicken capitol. I was so ashamed. Because a friend from Lagos came to Abuja for a short stay and I made a lot of noise about the place just to get their and be disappointed.
