It was almost past lunch time and i have been craving Ojuelegbaa porridge Yam with Pepper sauce, so I did the needful by finding my way there.😁😁😁So I didnt sit in to Dine in. I rather bought my meal in a takeout plate with a bottle of water and Fresh fruit juice.Unfortunately I was too hungry to take a picture when I got to the office. But I took few before I cleared my plate. And like always, the porridge was Yummy!!!🤩🤤🤤💞💞You should try it whenever you are in Ojuelegba and thank me when you do😉.
It was my first time at this place earlier today. I got there to meet a heated physical and verbal fight amongst the staff. What worried me even more was how much of their saliva was entering the meals they were serving the customers. There I was, waiting for the attendant to serve my plate while he was trying to settle a fight with my plate of food in his hands.I was highly unimpressed. The food itself is tasty but the customer service is appalling. The staff are too unprofessional!
The restaurant has deployed a local food setting with a touch of modernity. I liked the Ankara designs and the wall artworks. They looking old and the colours are fading though but the idea is cool. The walls Could use some painting. The food is well prepared and scrumptious. Not expensive.
I love the pounded yam and efo riro very well. Spicy and delicious
An amazing experience of Sumptous meal, they do home delivery too
Food is nice. But they can do better.
Good restaurent but no good road
I didnt like the service at their Garki branch. The servers behave like they are dashing you free food and it rubbish to me really.I informed their management and they called to apologize. Apology is nothing without good staff training/orientation.
The place is okay..Nice barrier between sellers and buyers.Cool seating arrangement and also the cue is coordinated, nice vents as well.Mainly serves local dishes like Amala, Ewedu, banga, local rice, ofada stew, the also cook jollof rice and plantain, edika-ikon, pepper source, white rice and stew, draw soup, and cold soft drinks.
Getting poorer by the day. Service is zero as servers are barely available to serve with large number of customer. No value for money with the quality of food sold.
Nice food, a place to get nice fastfood with a joke that I
Home made domestic dishes. Served well but with long cue.
Local restaurant with a touch of adaptive dinning. The thrill is - holding your plate in line to be served.
Very nice place with nice menu. Once they are able to deal with house flies, theyll be 100%.
Your plug for swallow food, rice and varieties of food. Their food are cheap and delicious.
Dish so good, you dont wanna leave. Great place too
Located in 1st Avenue, Gwarinpa, Abuja.Ojuelegba Amalapoint offers you:🥘 Indigenous African Restaurant🥘 Fresh | Flavorful🥘 Homemade Cooking🥘 Reasonably Priced🥘 Daily Breakfast🍴Lunch 🍴 & Dinner 🍽Its a nice place to have a bite of naturally home made foods in varieties as you want it. Their food prices is fair enough even for a common man.I enjoyed my yam porridge
Ojuelegba Amalapoint offers tasty Nigerian food including food from the Western region of Nigeria. They have different kinds of rice, swallow, soups, salads, meat and accompaniments but my favorite dish to get here is there Asun with Fried Plaintain. Asun is peppered goat meat that has been cut in small chunks and simmered with onions, pepper and spices. It is delicious!
Good place. Could be better
This place always remind me why Im a foodie.
Good spot for nice meals
They serve affordable and delicious Nigerian food
The food is fantastic, always hot and steamy
Nice place with good food.
A nice restaurant but hidden
Nice service and good food, price is not so affordable unless you’re someone that doesn’t mind spending money on quality food
Nice meals, but they need to cut down on the spice. Its injurious
You definitely enjoy your meal here
Nice foods with lots of varieties. I love the taste and aroma
More like 2.5 star ratingThis branch is a shed by a visible heap of trash so that already got me concerned. Like most Amala joints this had a waiting queue albeit 3 queue management lines but i observed people who still choose to jump lines did and were served. Now on the food, i ate 1 amala ewedu and gbégìrì with 4 pieces of cow internal meat with 1 limca drink and all this cost me 1000 naira (meat is 200 naira per piece, amala 100 and drink another 100 naira.Verdict: the gbégìrì was sour, the amala was quite much and so also was the stew but i am not sure if it was because of the sourness of the stew or the quantity that didnt make me finish. Also its costlier than my favourite amala joint and the outsider environment as well as the queue management needs more attention.
Poor service, served me a cold meal, asked them to microwave it and they said the microwave will take 30mintues to get hot, i would not recommend to anyone
The customer service is poor. Very disorganized setting. They need to work more on the organization
If you looking for a perfect spot for your local traditional dishes, this would definitely do.👌
Best Nigerian food joint in fct
Ambience & location very inviting, setting is fantastic and airy, service is great and the meals are mouth watering.
Place of different nigerian delicacy
Poor service....food was so cold. Nonchalant attitude of staff.
A nice place for time out after a rigorous work
Just experienced home made meals, nice and delicious 😋
Terrible meal. Even the one star is undeserving.
This place is wonderful the settings are out of this world
This is a place where you get all kinds of assorted African delicacies
Nice home made affordable food
A must visit, you will always get very rich and tasty meals neatly prepared the local Nigerian way while being very cost effective...The staff are always ready to help and the place always has features and rebates for its customers...One very amazing staff is an excellent gentleman called Pablo...Visit and bin apetite...
I bought amala and ewedu {gwarimpa branch} but kept seeing grains of rice in the soup...... So irritating
Best place to have a nice meal. 😋😋
Great food. Great service
I love there food very nice..
Best yoruba kitchen in town, but their crowd causes too much delay
If youre looking for the best party jollof on Abuja this is where to find it. Their Amala is good too
Try the beans with plantain.... I love it. About the services,...? Things can be pretty slow
Cool neat and serene environment.A good place for your local ( yoruba) dishes. Fair prices too.
It was cool and the food was nice?
Cool and good for local dishes
Typical buka experience and the food is great! Service could be better.
Uhhhh i dont think I really like the place.....always noisy and roudy. Not a place to visit when looking for an ambient environment
Reception is not as expected, meals are cleared up late and only one person was in charge of the food. Things should be better
The food good, love it but the service terrible they are very rude and disrespectful
The amala was nice but pomo and soup was a NO NO for me.
An aspect of lagos in Abuja.Leaves and refreshes the memory you have of existing meals
Being to several amala joint in Abuja but ojuelegba is superb
Not bad, no pepper though 😅
The location is hidden and unappealing. The food is ok.
Staff can do with a little more training
Please take your hygiene seriously, I found a walking insect in your ofada rice, and it was sandy.
Good food, serene environment
They have good food and at an affordable price but they lack enough staffs for serving at the front desk, so they may want to pay more attention to there customers especially during this festives
Good meals with different varieties, with a comfortable environment to eat
This place is a nice joint for local Yoruba delicacy.
Nice restaurant with good meal but you pay for everything separately from the food,to the meat,to the plates, even water isnt given..So its expensive.
The food was very good, however they sign on the door says no mask no entry but to my surprise even the servers didnt have their mask on. This is why I gave then 4 stars instead of 5.🙃
Amala still great
Great taste good food
Good meals at affordable price
A nice experience.
It was nice but their meals are a bit expensive based on the quantity served
A pleasant place to be
D staff serving are not courteous. However, the meal is sumptuous
Good local Nigerian food
