Halaga is a very nice place, it has two stages, the VIP SECTION AND NORMAL CUSTOMER SECTION.they have all sorts of food which include Jollof, fried rice, yam pottage, moi moi, roasted chicken, salad, swallow like Amala, semo, eba and pounded yam, soups like egwusi, ewedu, vegetable soup, gbegiri etc..different meats. drinks are Available, you can bring your kids there too.most importantly they price friendly unlike wok city and super foods.Challenges are its crowded often, hence making it difficult to buy food on time. but the solution to this is climbing up to the VIP section where you will be attended to but with a cost of an additional 500 Naira per head.
Good and delicious food. I recommend the yam porridge
Great place. Has a VIP where you pay N500 to sit. And VVIP where you pay N1000. In these areas, you dont have to wait on queue to eat. Just go sit and your order would be brought to you fast. You have someone waiting on you.
Nice food & local dishes @ affordable prices
Its ok, they need to training their staff to be more customer friendly. Expand the area for eating.
I love the way hahaha Worker to customers
Its a nice but very busy place with varieties of foods.. their local foods is the best
A nice restaurant with good food and superb customer service at the VIP section. However, it is a crowded place because everyone just wants to have a taste of Halagaπ€Ill remember to take pictures next time.
Very nice experience. Meals taste delicious. Staff courteous but no parking lot.
Pros: Food prices affordable and competitive. Good furniture and ambience.Cons: Very little parking space. The eatery may become too crowded. Queue is non-existent and rowdy. Guys flood the servers ordering over the counter in any order. This may be confuse a first time customer. Unless you can afford to pay for the VIP section, you may have to wait on the disorderly queue for long. Covid- protocols not enforced at all.
The food is consistently good. Everytime you go there, you get good tasty food. The staff can be nasty though.
This is one of the eateries in Abeokuta where you can get local dishes of all kinds in their varieties. Nevertheless, the local dishes are more of the Yoruba people, probably because it is located in the heart of the city of Abeokuta. The only set back is that it does not have adequate parking spaces. It is well air conditioned, it has adequate wash hand points and clean rest rooms within the eating hall. For Yoruba local dishes within Abeokuta city, it is a place to visit.
Tasty food served. However, if you are in a hurry, better know someone there or stay hungry.
Excellent restaurant with a relaxed atmosphere and delicious meals but delivery can be improved on. Especially to those who do not speak the local dialect.
Their food there is awesome, delicious and tasty....but you will need to buy more for you to be full π
Nice tasty meals, but parking space is usually a challenge.
Tasty and yummy African Food. Good for the tummyππ€ͺ
Good food at pocket friendly prices. I like the fact that they have a VIP and VVIP session though you have to pay 500 and 1000 Naira respectively for service charge in these sections. Worthy of mention is the fact that the staffs are polite and respectful. I recommend this place
Food is delicious Γ nd quite affordable.
The food at Halaga never goes wrong. The Village Kitchen section is rich in all local meals.
Enjoyed the meal. Service was prompt too
Tasty meals in a standard restaurant at affordable prices.
No 1 local restaurant in Abeokuta. Nice and clean environment. VIP section though it attracts a service charge.
Great concept with VIP and VVIP corners. Good food.
We are a choosy bunch in my family but the taste of the food served made up for all the average customer service. If you must, make sure you use the VIP or VVIP. Local delicacies served hot. I sure would visit when next Im in town.
Very calm, cool and pleasant
Good eatery. Very crowded. Maybe speaks of the quality of service rendered. Good place with variety
HalagaΒ isΒ aΒ goodΒ restaurantΒ offeringΒ aΒ varietyΒ ofΒ localΒ foodΒ options.TheirΒ AmalaΒ withΒ EweduΒ Soup,Β inΒ myΒ opinion,Β isΒ amazing.
The food was nice, only a bit too only, the place is always crowded too
Great food but not a good ambience
Pleasant but can be tight
A great option for local food, Also very affordable but their staff arent efficient, customers have to spend a lot of time on the queue before thry get attended to
A nice place to be , their services are good
It was a nice place to be
For a service per excellence, youve got to try Halaga caterings.
Nice place to get good food, always busy and a lil too overcrowded (even the VIP section).
Not that sweet rice.
Lovely local delicacy hangout
A nice place. Little parking space.
Almost the best canteen around here... If you would be taking a car here, park somewhere a little far off and walk in except the road is truly free.Plus, this place is filled with arrogant car owners, you dont want to be stuck on spot for hours.
Good.. But very Pricy VIP!
Came in to Abeokuta for a quick meeting and decided to grab lunch before heading back to Lagos.Called a few of my friends in Abeokuta for recommendations and Halaga came in highly recommended. So yeah I decided to give it a shot.First point of call and a turn off for me was the long queue at the serving point. The place has just 3 people serving the long queue of People. Finally got to my turn and I was served.I must confess the soup tastes reeeally good. Ive not had an efo riro that good in a long while. But the good feeling I got from the food was quickly eroded by the poor customer service.Mehn! The customer service here is bad. Very bad.Let me give you an idea of how bad it is.For a place like this, I expected that they should put saviette in your tray as you order your food, but they didnt. I assumed they forgot to.While trying to devour the huge ogufe meat I was served, I got stained with oil all over my mouth. I politely beckoned on one of the attendant to please help me get a saviette only for her to point to the table for me to go get it myself.Haaaa πWell, I had to carry myself and my oil stained mouth to the table to get myself a saviette o.πI got to the table and there was someone there to dish out the saviette, she gave me I piece, I asked her if I could get an extra one and she bluntly told me NOThat was a crazy experience for me mehn πGood food, poor customer service
A nice place to get variety of traditional and continental dishes
Their service is just operating on a mama-put style but their food is delicious and classic.
Is a cool place an very nice
They have alot of variety of foods
Nice spot to eat out
Tasty and clean.
Good local meals
Good place for local dishes
Satisfying 100% lovely place to be ... Good customer service... Sumptuous meals.... And so on.
Good place to eat, value for your money. Good food! Only that their fish is a waste of money.
Good food but over crowded and no covid-19 protocol observed.
Mostly crowded in the afternoon.
Good place to be but just but my first experience seems last... I ate a pounded yam that wasnt fluffy at all..Scattered like yam as I ate
Its my first time there and the experience was less than expectation.Ate in vip: tap was not running to wash hands, had to use bowls to get water in a bucket, no water or tissue paper in the toilet... ; but FOOD WAS NICE
The food is nice, but the vendors are a bit rude, they dont attend to customers promptly, instead they gist among themselves.
The setting is lovely. There is provision for a VIP seating. Serves great food. I particularly love the jollof rice, the pottage. The member of staff are up and doing in trying to cope with the demand of customers. It is well visited restaurant. Their outdoor catering service is top notch. There is an esthetic appeal to their presentation. If you have visited, please do. And you might need to be a bit patient due to the number of customers per time or you can use the VIP section upstairs.
Think the service is very good and affordable
This catering service is located along Mercy clinic at Pankese, Ibara, Abeokuta. It is a good place to eat and order for local food, snacks and many other thing. The building is newly constructed and very comfortable.
A very nice place, with a sit-to-eat (STE) area, having a VIP and VVIP sections. Their food is also top notch
Affordable meals. Limited car park
Who told you I visited here
They offer good service
Its one of the best place to eat out in abeokuta if youre tired if your own menu you will be satisfied with their delicacy.
Wonderful place. Wide variety of menu to choose from. Easily accessible to town too. The eating area is well ventilated. There is a VIP section too upstairs. The food tastes great. Its a good place to hang out with friends and family
Great Food
Halaga presented an array of savory dishes; with lot of serving point and good customer service Representative. The setting is pleasing to the eye.
For best delicacy in Abeokuta, theyre the best
Traffic on its way most times
The food is good and quite consistent. Their African dishes are great and they have the best Ofada rice and sauce, Ive tasted in Abeokuta. It can get crowded and service could be slow but the food is worth the wait.
Problem of parking space.
Great spot with local and continental delicacies. Recommended for those who love Yoruba and English meals.
Nice place
Great food
All round meal,
Great food and good customer service
Nice meal, poor hygiene, poor customer care.
Perfect meal, have VIP and VVIP
Good food but need to improve on customer service.
Bad customer service and food too spicy
The food is so tasty
Poor customer service.
Nice eatery and posh too
It was a great experience

Everything is expensive
