If you visit Abeokuta and you dont know the bamboo groove inside oopl, you are missing a lot... I call it lovers spot cos its so serene, secluded and nice... The food is to die for

Nice atmosphere, this area consists of a bar, restaurant and a suya joint. Can be very relaxing if you do not mind your music a bit loud. This could have been a 4 star rating, if the waiter did not runaway with our change.

Service delivery could be better. The place was just getting back to life after the pandemic. People visit more during the weekends. The suya was great but drinks could be a bit more expensive than regular.

It is a shame, bamboo groove is not like before. It is now looking dry and unwelcoming.The customer service was quiet poor. We had to demand to be served after seated for about 10mins.There was little options offered for food and drinks. The abokis kidney and meat sue was great, unfortunately no tomatoes.We left after 30mins

This is a natural environment for a perfect date. Its located inbetween bamboo trees; a stream full of marine life quietly flowing beside your seat. look to the left, you see OOPL zoo; look ahead, you see the Library; and to the right is the OOPL lake. Soft music plays in the background. All your needs are guaranteed.

Just as the name depicts, the bar is surrounded with bamboo creating an aesthetic environment. Tables and chairs neatly arranged. Cold drinks are sold, one can get soft and alcoholic drinks here. Also available is suya which you can also order to enjoy your dream.

Great place to escape the heat of the city.Food is basic but tasty, with good variety. Easy going staff.

Its a world class wildlife right in the heart of Abeokuta. Lovely place with an excellence service. Good for family vacation.

The place is a wonderful place to hangout with loved ones, I only visited Abeokuta and was lead to this location by a friend it was an experience not to easily forget especially if u are coming from the concrete jungle of Lagos State. It features a dense canopy of of bamboos clustered together is several groups to create pathways for recreation but each cluster spreads out with height and completely forms a canopy atop. Oopl has a zoo beside the bamboo groove featuring several animals from lions to hyenas to crocs etc. All close to a Rocky formation, pictures on here gives a similar sensation to the famous olumorock.

A beautiful place to relax...with culture all around you

The only restaurant in the garden in the whole of the resort and library. Its a standard one and likened to the ones I see in the FCT all the time. Different sections for the edibles, (asun and the likes), Drinks including palm wine and enjoyment in the cool environment. The bamboo covered has a special staircase route welcoming you into the arena. The pricing is exclusive and got a lot to offer you while on tour here.
