Its a comfortable place to get things but theres no much Parking space.
You must have a good bargaining power. Sample prices around before settling. There is variety and I have never bought a fake from the market. Parking can sometimes be jammed especially on market days.
Central marketplace in Abeokuta where you can get what you need faster
Its one of the major markets in Abeokuta where you get to buy a lot of things like foodstuffs, fruits and vegetables, provisions, and others. It even has a sections where goats are sold. Its market day is every five days where various people from within and outside the town come to sell and buy.Parking can be a challenge during the market day but you can park at Ọba Lipede Market for a token.
Good market but never try to go or pass through the road during five days market day
This is a large market that is open everyday but always full to capacity every five days with the inflows of farmers bringing their goods for sale. The market is located at the centre of Abeokuta City and it is one of the largest market. Things are sometimes considered expensive here compared to Lafenwa, Elega or Adatan market. It is a market for everything.
Its quite a big market but no comfortable parking space. The road is also bad.
Ku to is a very nice market
Human and vehicular control on market days require great improvement. Design made for vehicles park is inadequate. Pick up and dropping points from vehicles are not adequate.
Kuto Market is one of the popular markets in Abeokuta. It operates daily but there is higher trading activities every 5 days. Each day that is known as Kuto market, traders from all over the country come with their various wares. Traffick is always high on such day. However, if you make it to the market on such day, you tend to get literally everything you would love to purchase and also at a competitive price. One can readily get fresh fruits, vegetables, spices, various food stuffs, kitchen wares, clothings, plastics, livestocks and many more. It is a good market but the organisation can be improved.
A big food market, youll find all food stuffs at affordable wholesale prices.
Very exciting
Kuto market is located in the Capital city of Ogun State (Abeokuta). It has a Moto Park where you can virtual get transportation to Lagos, Ijebu and some other places...You can virtual get anything you wont to buy at kuto market, be it stationaries, foodstuffs, wears, kitchen utensils, groceries, provisions... And so on.Kutu is a very busy and rough area especially on market days, the market days is always once in a week but not withstanding, you will still get whatever you want to buy even on days when there is no market. This picture was taken when there was no market, thats why it looks scanty but the market is always filled up on market days and sometimes cause a lot of traffic on the main road.
A big market located at Kuto Abeokuta. You can buy items ranging from household goods, stationaries, cloths to food items.
As a Documentary Photographer I love sharing beautiful landscape pictures.

Abeokutas main town market!
The Kuto Market is located at Kuto area of Abeokuta South LGA, Ogun State. This is a market I have known since my days in the Primary School. I remiscence with nostalgia my escapades in this market. Various commodities can be sought and bought in large quantity which include plastics, household items, food stuffs, clothing etcEvery 5days is the Market Day though it opens everyday.
The place is a large market with various products and commodities, although things such as clothes and products that are not direct from the farm are quite expensive. Your bargaining skills would be highly useful in this market
Cool
All in one local market
Best ever market in Abeokuta.
A market well known for its versatility. You get everything you want. A bit rowdy when it comes to parking, but you can always get the best price for your purchase.
Stressful
The market (open market) serves it purpose, however, adequate parking space is not available. Theres usually vehicular traffic around the market.
Still not properly organized
You can get all your daily essentials
A market
One of the major markets in the city. You can almost buy everything youre looking for here. The cabs also ply almost everywhere in Abeokuta
Not much traffic.
You will basically get any food stuff or ingredient you needed for your social or domestic use here. A fairly large market that has all you could possibly want for home use.
A big market but poor financial systems around like only one or two Polaris bank ATM functioning for the whole market. It also needs some proper planning and infrastructural development
The most popular market in Abeokuta where almost everything can be purchased cheaply. Groceries, clothing, kitchen utensils etc..... are all sold here.
Typical market. Good for the locals. Fresh fruits and food materials available. On main market day, its rowdy and some traffic.
On market days which is usually every 5days ..the traffic is usually really slow and you can hardly drive through without difficultly. Also theyre currently constructing an overhead bridge there so it makes the traffic worse
I get most of the things needed every time but parking spaces are a struggle.
A multipurpose local market for all things grocery. Safe place. Friendly traders. Prices are pocket friendly too.
It is a good place to buy food stuff and other goods but there is traffic gridlock most the time on the road within the market especially on its designated market days when other sellers bring their wares to the market.
They deceive and exploit Corp members a lot! Especially the Igbo traders. They make you think theyre helping you. Avoid going there on your Khaki or even tell them that youre a Corp member, they will hike the prices for you.
The area is very dirty and disgusting there is also a very small space for movement(both cars and pedestrians). But their products are very original and nice.
Cool
Kuto market is a relatively good market, especially for grocery shopping. You could get your pepper, meat, fish and basically cook stuffs easily. It is well positioned to ease transportation stress, as you do not need to carry your load for too long before you get a taxi.Cool. 4 stars
Kuto market was full of fresh from farm items on this market day. Fantastic range of local fruits and vegetables from near by farms and very good prices.
Perhaps the largest market in Abeokuta. Theres hardly any household item that you are looking for that you will not get at Kuto market or nearby, ranging from foodstuffs, cloth, provisions etc. It is easily accessible by public transport (taxi) from anywhere in Abeokuta, and its one of the major places youll first get to when you are coming from Lagos. You should also be able to get a bus going to any major surrounding town from Kuto.
A typical motor park on Nigeria but with some organization. You can literally get a vehicle from here to any town in the southwest states
One of the biggest markets at Abeokuta. A one-stop market as far as foodstuffs is concerned. You get the best deal on market days. Just ask any trader around when the next Kuto market day will be. Like its required in most African markets, you have to check price with locals before going or carry out a brief price survey at the market to get a good deal. Also sharpen your negotiation skills.
The Kuto Market is located at heart of Abeokuta South Local Government Area. It is a public trading place, with a motor park for travelling within and outside the state. There is a Polaris Bank beside the Oba Lipede Ultra Modern Market ,Kuto.
For me Id say kuto market is the largest or most popular market in the city of abeokuta. It has good road network.it is situated in the heart of Abeokuta which makes it accessible from major parts of the city.

Local market to buy food stuff of all varieties and other daily needs. One of the most popular local market in Abeokuta. Today Sunday is said to be a market day, and the next market day will be in 5days (Thursday). Nevertheless, there are people that sells daily, meaning market day or not its still a market.
Ever crowded and rough market, still love the place sha. You get anything you want to buy there, plus your trip to Lagos or all other parts of Nigeria begins at the Kuto Park.
A market where you can get all Nigeria goods and imported goods at a very cheap price. To enjoy its full power visit the market during the official market days filled with hustling and bustling of civil servants and commercial traders
Orderly and well maintained
Yeah, Kuto markets a place youd find almost anything to buy.. Great place
It was rowdy simply because today is a market day. There was heavy traffic at kuto road because traders display wares and goods on the road on market days.
This place is a local market where they bring agricultural products every five days. Other goods are sold there tooThe market is very large
5 days marketing interval where you can easily get farm products at very cheap prices. Theyre also fresh from the farm too. Not so much sea food is sold on the market days but you can still get some prawns and snails, though a bit expensive compared to some other markets around; you can get a fair bargain at times
Nice time shopping at kuto market with my friends.
This is a local market found in the heart of Abeokuta in Ogun State, Nigeria. This market is considerably big and it offers buyers and seller different experiences. Lots of stuffs to buy here for those looking for food items, household utensils and many other. Its location is such that it is easy for people to locate the place and move out of it quite easily.
